True Love of the Heir

True Love of the Heir
CSP. 51

Arsen hummed happily, chanting notes that if he could admit, he knew nothing at all. Arsen was definitely not a singer, he was just a man who happened to hold a high position.

Arsen continued to kick the whistles and irregular tones until entering his company, even in his step he had greeted some staff who accidentally met him. Invite a big question mark on the head of his employees. Not even Galen could leave a frown.

"What's wrong with the president today?" Bara who happened to be there also caught a different gelagat from his superiors. Bara vividly recalled a few days ago he was scolded all out.

Seeing Absen who was smiling and looking happy clearly made Bara wonder. Staring at Luna, Bara seemed to ask 'Lo know not?'

"Don't ask me, ask Nadira there!" jolt Luna while walking back. Heedless of the whispers behind him.

"Nadira? Why should I ask Nadira? What connection?" ask Bara wonder. Luna stopped, turned to face Bara back.

"Yes because Nadira is a — confidant! The president's confidant lately!" Almost Luna unravels Nadira's big secret in front of Bara.

In disbelief, Bara raised her eyebrows. "So like you didn't say a confidant, deh, Lun. Lo said is, right? Is what?" bara search.

Luna shook her hand. "Lo misheard, that, Bar!" the exclamation was brief then continued its steps towards the elevator, leaving Bara in his confusion.

If Luna does not immediately avoid Bara, she is afraid that her beautiful mouth will accidentally reveal the status of Nadira and Arsen's relationship. He promised not to tell anyone.

Noting the movement of stock values on his laptop screen, Arsen hummed again when he recalled last night.

Arsen's mood is at its best. Arsen must admit that he feels satisfied and happy with all the things he has now. And the most important thing is, Nadira is willing to accept it.

Their relationship has been going well the last two days with Nadira's sudden absence of rejection and Arsen's anger. Last night was enough for the two to restart their fractured relationship. Arsen promised that in the future they will both learn and try to accept each other.

For Arsen now, everything is perfect and going as it should be.

The knock on the door to his room stopped his gun. Arsen replied, allowing anyone behind the door to enter. Looking up, Arsen found Galen standing in front of his desk carrying a paper bag in his hand.

"President, your order has arrived" he said, then put the paper bag on the table. Pulling away from his laptop, Arsen grabbed the paper bag and pulled out its contents, a blue velvet box.

"Very pretty, as pretty as she'll have it later," she said as soon as she opened the velvet box and took out the diamond ring from its place.

"You can come back" he said. Galen bowed respectfully and pulled himself out of Arsen's room.

Putting his diamond ring back in the box, Arsen grabbed his phone on the glass table, about to send a message. However,

"Sorry, Sir." Galen came back to harass him. "There's a message from Zack" he said, showing Arsen his tab.

After reading the message, Arsen gnawed the bone between his forehead. "I'll think about it, you take care of the others first, Galen."

"Oh, yeah. Clear my schedule for noon till this afternoon, "he asked before Galen actually walked out of the room.

A small nod in response, Galen closed the door and let the door close slowly behind his back.

Arsen checked his phone again. The message he has not yet sent. Weighing for a moment, he stopped to tell Nadira, let it be a surprise, he thought.

Staring at her reflection in the mirror, Nadira repeatedly changed her hijab style because she felt the hijab style she wore was not too suitable for her lunch date today.

Moving from the front of the mirror, Nadira again grabbed a white satin hijab, matching the hijab and the suit he would wear. When he felt he found a suitable color, Nadira immediately prepared.

An hour later, Arsen was home to pick her up. Looking at Nadira from top to bottom, Arsen was amazed.

"Why?" nadira asked while looking back at her appearance, maybe something was wrong until Arsen looked at her so seriously.

Shaking small, Arsen grabbed Nadira's waist closer. "Nobody is less than you. Everything is beautiful, very beautiful, and always amazes me" he said, bringing a red hue to Nadira's cheeks.

"We're leaving now?" Arsen linked their fingers, nodding small, Nadira followed Arsen's footsteps with a stifled smile. Between being angry and funny. Nadira thinks that they are like two teenagers who want to date, even though their age can be considered adult.

Once down, the two were immediately warmly welcomed by Management Restaurant.

The restaurant is not too crowded with visitors like restaurants in general. Nadira even found there were only a handful of people in luxurious clothes enjoying dishes and chatting.

Arsen invited Nadira to enter by holding her hand full of intimacy. Upon entering the restaurant, which Nadira said was very luxurious and classy, Nadira amazed.

But, a second later, he crumpled up Arsen's lapel, nervous about all the luxuries he wasn't ready to accept. "Feel free" whispered Arsen soothingly.

Even so, Nadira's nervousness did not immediately disappear. He repeatedly cleared a small bath as they headed to the private room area that had been reserved by Arsen.

Several times Arsen felt Nadira stomp her feet, several times also Nadira muttered sorry. "Look down, honey." Once in the private room area, the Management Restaurant allowed both of them to enter.

Arsen then pulled out a chair for Nadira to sit on. After Arsen felt Nadira was more comfortable in her sitting position, she called a waitress.

Ordering the most expensive and luxurious food. Arsen wanted to give Nadira a meaningful lunch date, given that this was their first official lunch date.

"May I ask why did you bring me here?" nadira asked in a whisper. "Private Rooms? Really?"

Arsen smiled, grabbed the back of Nadira's hand and kissed her briefly. "Cause you my universe. You're entitled to desire all of my best" he replied with a glance.

Pulling his hand, Nadira clucked. "That's a big deal," he said. According to Nadira, things like lunch in a fancy restaurant are a wasteful step to spend money. He doesn't like that.

Shortly after, a waitress came to bring them an appetizer. After the main course was presented, neither Nadira nor Arsen opened their voices, both of them just ate in silence. It was only after the dessert had been spent that Arsen opened his voice.

"Nadira, I have something for you" said Arsen. Looking at the confused looking Nadira, Arsen smiled warmly. He reached into the velvet box that was in his suit pocket.

Placing the box onto the table, Arsen opened it slowly, showing Nadira the contents. The woman was shocked as soon as the sparkle of diamonds was caught by her eyes.

Arsen took the ring from the box and grabbed Nadira's fingers and pinned the ring on the ring finger. Peeping the back of his hand a glance Arsen again raised his head. Nadira's surprised expression had not disappeared at all.

For twenty seconds, Nadira stared at his ring finger. Then looked up at Arsen deeply, asking for an explanation.

"I don't know what to call it. But I really want to give you that. Maybe as an engagement ring?"

Nadira chuckles. "Nobody has a diamond ring as a sign of a proposal. It's crazy, you know?" his comment was still staring at the diamond ring on his ring finger.

Shaking his shoulders lightly, Arsen then smiled wryly. "I know, and I can love you even crazier."

"What's? No! I don't want to believe or accept this crazy thing anymore."

"Well, you have to do it. Because starting from now, I will prove that I, too, can love someone so much" Arsen said proudly.

"Yes, I want to be loved so much. But loving someone doesn't mean giving them expensive and luxurious things like this, Mas."

"That's how I love you. I know sincerity cannot be judged by material, but this is how I love you, Nadira. I'll give you everything I have, if you ask."

"I don't need this" said Nadira. Looking down at the table.

Arsen grabbed his chin, asking Nadira to look at him. "You need. You should need it. Don't misunderstand me. If I said I love you, that really means I love you" Arsen said.

"Should I say, I love you too?"

Picking up Nadira's question, Arsen shook his head slowly. "Well, I don't think it's necessary. I know you to well."

"Since when?"

"Last night," Arsen replied as he blinked one eye, teasing Nadira with a meaningful smile.

The rest of the day, they spent chatting a lot of things. Understanding each other, joking, also taking a leisurely walk in the park. Trying to get closer to each other.
