In a magnificent house, Arsen appears to walk in gallantly. A few servants instantly marched and slightly bowed their heads respectfully, welcoming the arrival of the sole heir to the Harrington family.
"Where's Grandpa?" he asked when the main door opened, he confirmed the clothes and removed the sunglasses that had been perched on his handsome but flat face.
"The Great Master is in the reading room, waiting for the Young Master to come," replied a bodyguard. Arsen immediately stepped into the reading room, passing through the long hallways.
There, in the reading room, his grandfather, Areef Harrington, was standing staring out the window holding a book. "How are you, Grandpa?" greet Arsen as he approached his Grandfather.
"You're 5 minutes late, Arsenio Harrington" Areef put his book back on the table, then stared straight at his only grandson.
"Come on, Grandpa, just 5 minutes. I was stuck in traffic on the road. Grandfather seemed not to know how dense the Capital was," said Arsen, he shook his Grandfather's hand, respectfully.
"How can you be an heir if you don't value time?" sindir Areef while shaking his head, whereas Arsen just shrugged his shoulders, indifferently.
"Sorry, Grandpa. Next time I promise I won't be late and will appreciate the time more," A Arsen said then he asked his Grandfather to sit down. "How's Grandpa doing lately?" he asked, then squatted in front of his grandfather.
Arsen placed his head on Areef's knee, with Grandpa's affection for the almost 85-year-old rubbing the tops of the heads of his only grandchildren.
"Are you nothing else to ask Grandpa, Arsen? You also know Grandpa's age might have to count the days"
Arsen looked up, "Grandfather! Grandpa don't say that. Arsen always prayed that Grandpa would live a long and healthy life." Arsen's arms switched massaging Areef's legs slowly. "Just Grandpa, Arsen's only family, please don't say that, Cake"
Areef smiled briefly. "How old are you now, son?" ask Areef suddenly who made Arsen stop his massage.
"25 years," he replied, which made his grandfather frown. "Okay, sorry, 28 years in November."
"You're old enough to get married, aren't you?" areef's question was successful in making Arsen flinch.
"Grandfather, come. Don't talk about this, I don't want to get married!" sergeant Arsen did not like it, every time he met Areef, whom his grandfather discussed must have been an inducement to marry.
Areef honestly understood Arsen's reluctance to get married. His parents' divorce 10 years ago must have brought deep wounds to the 28-year-old man.
However, on the other hand, he was also worried about his granddaughter. Everyone needs a companion, including Arsen. He didn't want Arsen to be like his lonely self for years.
"Everyone needs someone to accompany the rest of his life, Arsen. Believe me, son, with the right person, your life will feel more precious," said his grandfather, Arsen fixated.
"If getting married makes people happy, why did my Dad and my mom split up, cake?" finally, the question that had plagued his head since 10 years ago came out as well.
Areef seemed to sigh for a moment before opening his voice, Arsen looked at him seriously, looking forward to his reply.
"You know what, son? Sometimes the world of marriage is more complicated than the world of adults. There are a lot of things you have to understand in it. All Grandpa can say is marry so you can experience it for yourself. Marry the right person."
"For with him you will spend the rest of the time. You also know, getting married is not just for a day or two, a month, two months, a year or ten years. But for a lifetime. And that whole life is long, son."
"Then choose someone who can help you learn every day, who can understand you well, who will accompany you through all your joys. Getting married is beautiful, Arsen, being with the right people."
Arsen seriously listened, his face down. He had never learned the meaning of marriage. What he saw, his parents' marriage was ruined, and he did not want to repeat it.
"Grandfather didn't ask you to get married as soon as possible, son. Grandpa just wants you to try to find your true love and get married and be happy, that's all."
"Of course if you don't want to get married, it's your decision. Grandfather won't comment, but think back to Grandpa's words."
Arsen pulled his hair back, confused.
"Will Arsen think carefully, Cake." Areef crocheted his smile beautifully. He rubbed Arsen's head once more.
"You know what, seeing you Grandpa was like seeing your father when you were young. The difference is, your dad loves dating, and you, Grandpa, have never seen a single woman approach you."
Arsen flicked his shoulders, "Where do I know? I don't like to waste time with things like that." Areef laughs.
Areef patted his grandson's shoulder slowly. "Arsen, use your handsome face well, son. Women will fall if they are given attention and affection. Why have a handsome face but your attitude is cold, which woman would be interested?"
"Grandfather! Stop teasing me like that" Arsen protested. His grandfather loved to tease him. Areef laughed making Arsen grumble inwardly.
