True Love of the Heir

True Love of the Heir
CSP. 24

After the sumptuous dinner, Areef invited Nadira to go around seeing the main residence which Nadira said looked like a royal castle, even to climb upstairs had to use the elevator.

"Grandfather, in this vast main residence, is Grandfather not tired of having to walk? How do I clean room by room here? It must be a hassle, right?" asked Nadira without pause.

Getting such an innocent question, Areef laughed. "No, Grandpa was used to living here even before Arsen was born. And not every day the room in this house is cleaned, only once a week. Every day the servants would only clean the room a little, "Areef calmed down.

Nadira nodded trying to understand. "Hm, Nadira knows now why there are so many servants in this house."

Areef let Nadira who revealed his heart. Areef admitted Nadira was a little different from the girls he had seen. Nadira is quite able to carry himself, calm but firm, cheerful and very understanding.

"What room is this, Grandpa?" Nadira immediately asked as Areef moved to open the double door in front of them.

"Lead room," replied Areef briefly. Then the door opened, the first thing Nadira saw was the large shelves filled with books.

"Reading room? This is not a reading room, it's a library!" exclaimed Nadira enthusiastically, he immediately entered into a room full of books.

Areef smiled following Nadira's footsteps. "Grandfather knew Nadira would definitely love this room," Areef took a seat in the middle of the room.

Precisely an elongated table that can be used for learning. There are lounge chairs on the edge of the window as well as a set of sofas that are comfortable to use while reading. That's where Areef usually spends his time. Sitting in a chair while reading old stories until late afternoon.

Nadira was still engrossed around the bookshelf by the bookshelf, observing the books lined up there. Now he was not surprised if Areef was so wise. Just like the name suggests, Areef means wisdom. A wise man is one who reads a lot!

"Grandfather," called Nadira after looking at her. Areef, who had closed his eyes for a moment, woke up again. Nadira was smiling in front of him.

"Grandfather tired? Want Nadira a massage?" tawar Nadira's. Areef nodded briefly. Then Nadira began to massage Areef's legs slowly.

"You know what, son? Arsen also often massaged me when I visited here," Areef opened his voice.

Nadira. "Eh, really? It was unexpected that he would want to do something like this," Areef nodded.

"The boy just seemed cold, heartless, uncaring and often rude, but his heart was very kind. What do you think, son?"

Nadira frowned, "do you mean Grandpa?"

"What kind of person do you think your husband is? Is he nice to you, or?"

"Yes, Grandpa's granddaughter is good, only sometimes annoying," Nadira said, making Areef open to hearing Nadira's honesty.

"Well, Grandpa also has to admit, Arsenio is stubborn and his paranoid disorder sometimes makes it not easy to trust people, plus his emotions are very explosive," said Areef who immediately recognized Nadira.

"What Grandpa said is true! Trivial problems can make him angry." Areef laughed again. Nadira was still massaging his legs, making the old Grandpa slightly touched.

"Nadira, son, can Grandpa tell you something?" Areef is back.

"What is it, Grandpa?" nadira replied, feeling a bit about what Areef was trying to explain.

"Son, no matter how bad Arsen is now, believe that his heart is good and always cares for his loved ones. Although the way he showed affection was a bit different."

Nadira listened seriously, now both hands resting on Areef's knees, leaning back. Seeking warmth.

"Don't leave him, huh? Later if Grandpa is gone, you are the only family he has," explains Areef, now his eyes are glaring out the window of the reading room.

"Grandfather, why do you talk that way? Grandpa must have lived a long life" said Nadira. Talking about death always made her remember her parents.

Areef smiled warmly. "All men will die and leave this world, son. Grandpa just told me this, Nadira can do it, right?" Nadira nodded.

"One more, son. Sometimes good is hidden in the face that we think is evil. Only a truly sincere heart can see it."

"And not everything we think is evil is always evil, and vice versa. After all, human nature doesn't always lie between black and white." Nadira frowned, not understanding what Areef was talking about.

"Big Master," called the Chief Servant who had been standing at the door by some time. Both of them looked at the origin of the voice.

"It's late, it's time for the Great Lord to rest" he said respectfully. Nadira helps Areef to stand up.

"Well, where's Arsen?"

"Young Master is already under waiting for Young Madam to come down."

"Nadira, come on, son. Grandpa's taking you."

"Eh, no need, Grandpa. Grandpa should rest, right? Nadira drove Grandpa to Nadira's new room home, how? Grandpa shouldn't be tired, you know." Nadira's persuasion throws Areef off.

"Okay, but promise me you'll have to come here a lot, yeah."

"Yes, we will visit often. Come on, Grandpa be careful in stepping."

20 Minutes later Nadira finally went down. There, on the living room couch, Arsen seemed to have fallen asleep. But Nadira's footsteps woke him from his sleep.

"Have finished? Let's go!"

"Eh? I thought, shouldn't we just stay the night, sir?"

"No! Let's go home soon!"

They left the main residence with a few servants. After the two of them got into the car, the main residence gate closed again. Now only the butler stood outside, waving to say bye.

"What are you talking about with Grandpa?" arsen asked as soon as the car drove away from the main residence.

"Nothing, just talking," replied Nadira casually.

"That's what I want to know!" arsen's jolt made Nadira a little surprised.

"Oh, forget it. Don't want to say, yes already! Don't forget to wake me when I get there." Nadira just muttered.

After he was quiet, Arsen completely fell asleep. Nadira turned his eyes out of the car, staring at the increasingly quiet streets. He breathed slowly, feeling tired. Before long, he falls asleep, following Arsen into a dream.
