True Love of the Heir

True Love of the Heir
CSP. 45

The clock's needle is moving slowly according to Arsen. It has been 3 hours since his Grandfather's Heart Bypass surgery was performed, but there are no signs the surgery will be completed any time soon.

He moved agitatedly, squeezing both of his hands firmly, walking back and forth in front of the operating room. A great anxiety surged into his chest, so that the tall man could not remain silent.

"Why isn't it done yet?!" I don't know who it was. Designating the wall as a form of annoyance and the target of his anxiety. Afraid of losing her heart squeezed strongly, streaks of sweat slid from her forehead freely.

Glancing into the operating room, there had been no signs of the anxiety lamp turning green. Makes him more riled waiting. 3 hours feels torturous for him. While from the waiting chair, Nadira looked at Arsen with a sad look.

Sighing for a moment, Nadira pulled Arsen to sit still, rubbing his shoulders slowly trying to channel some strength to the man. After all, Nadira knew what it was like to bet between life and death. Race against time, doctors must also be trying their best, according to their abilities.

"I know Mr. Arsen is worried, but try to be calm. Grandpa must be all right, the doctor told you, right? If this operation is successful, Grandpa has a great chance to get back to health" said Nadira Long, as if with that sentence Arsen's worries and fears can be lost.

Anthony who from the beginning knew the condition of Areef just speechless, silent, standing shoulder the same anxiety. While watching the interaction of the two with a faint smile. Secretly feel happy because it seems the two lovebirds have made up. At least, Anthony felt a little relieved now.

"Anthony," call Arsen slowly. The old man looked up at Arsen.

"Yes, Sir. Can I help you?" he said to propose himself. Arsen shook his head slowly, rising from his seat to approach Anthony.

"What really happened to Grandpa? Aren't you two days ago Grandpa was still okay? Or is something happening in the main residence? Why did Grandpa suddenly go into shock?" cecar Arsen stared intently at Anthony by folding both hands across his chest.

"Pak Arsen, be a little polite," Nadira reminded. He pulled Arsen back to sit down. From Arsen's tone to Anthony earlier, Nadira thought Arsen would do reckless things. His paranoia made him suspect anyone.

Arsen sat back in his chair without taking his eyes off Anthony. Nadira again gently rubbed the back of Arsen's hand, reminding the man to control his emotions. "Anthon, Anthony!" the meaning was hard, making Anthony's body instantly stiffen.

Nadira grimaced hearing the bluff. Turning his gaze in various directions as long as he did not look at Arsen or Anthony, to be honest, Nadira could not bear to see an old man shaking his shoulders.

Anthony looked down a little and said. "The Great Lord's health has indeed declined the past few days, Young Master. I had reminded him to be intensively admitted to the hospital but he insisted on refusing and only had the doctor come to check" he replied with the composure of a wise man.

Nadira glanced at Anthony at a glance, the calmness of the answer he gave to Arsen amazed Nadira. Though Arsen was bullying him earlier, but the expression he was showing was just an ordinary expression. It is clear that Anthony has a high EQ! thought Nadira.

"What did the doctor say? Since when exactly did Grandpa's health decline? Why didn't you tell me? Then, why did Grandpa suddenly feel shock? Something must have happened, right?" cecar Arsen again. Not happy with Anthony's response. More precisely, he wanted to know in detail and thoroughly. Anthony's answer was more impressed as an excuse for him.

"The doctor also suggested the same thing, but the Great Lord wants all the checks to be done at home, he said so that the Young Master would not worry. And as for the great shock, this morning, the Great Lord received a letter from England." Arsen. He closed his eyes, surprised. As expected, something must have happened!

"Letter from England?" ask again as if in disbelief. Nadira who did not understand the direction of the conversation they could only listen for a while.

Anthony nodded again, then reached into a paper he deliberately kept in his pocket. Then give a piece of paper to Arsen. Reading it quickly, Arsen's forehead creased deeply, there was an outstretched anger there. His hands clenched, the paper was strong until it turned into a lump of paper in his hand, his teeth grinding. Jaw tightens.

"They again!" hiss Arsen quietly, threw the paper into the trash.

"The Great Master instantly felt his chest tight. Just when the Great Lord was in shock, it just so happened that the young Madam came and we brought her here as quickly as possible."

Arsen sat back down with anger and guessed. Nadira kept it quiet, not knowing how to respond or what to say.

Before long, the light turned green along with the doctor who came out. His face looked exhausted but there was a sense of happiness and pride there. Arsen approached him.

"How, Doc?" ask Arsen impatiently. Anthony and Nadira, too.

So happy Arsen hugged Nadira tightly. Share her feelings of relief and joy with the girl. Unknowingly, Nadira also returned the hug. Derai haru decorated the two. "Thank you, Nadira," muttered Arsen.

After that, Areef started to be moved to recovery room — postoperative recovery room. Arsen looked at his Grandfather who was lying quietly with a set of supporting tools to find out the condition of his body.

Although Areef had been moved, his worries did not necessarily disappear just like that. The doctor said, post-surgery, during the first 48 hours, patients should be closely monitored, any possibility that could happen to Areef.

Rubbing Arsen's shoulder, Nadira tried to smile warmly. "Grandfather is still under the influence of total anesthesia, a few hours later may just be aware. Mr. Arsen rest and eat first yuk," he asked Arsen who since Areef was moved, not one bit left the edge of the bed.

Nadira pointed towards the table, Anthony was delivering food for them. "It wasn't lunch, was it?" asked Nadira again, very well know the condition of Arsen.

The man nodded, releasing his grip on the bed. Scratching the bone between his eyes, Arsen closed his eyes and sighed softly. He was tired, very tired, his stomach even felt sore due to late eating.

Nadira opened the food container, the fragrant steam from the mushroom soup looks appetizing. If only they were not in a sad state, the mushroom soup would definitely increase their appetite.

Arsen just stared at the food in front of him, not intending to eat. His grandfather was still lying weak, how could he eat? Nadira shook his head. Then take a spoon and take one big mouthful.

Arsen stared at the food spoon and Nadira took turns. "Eat, Sir. I can't take care of two sick people at once" Nadira said. Inevitably, Arsen ate the bribe and swallowed it.

"It feels good, but I really can't eat Nadira anymore" Arsen said as Nadira returned to feed her.

Nadira let out a tired sigh, putting the bowl and spoon back on the table. Then looked at Arsen. He was just as tired as that guy. Who is not tired when tested many times?

But, can humans turn away when the test comes whack? The answer is, no, so do Arsen and Nadira. Giving up is not an option.

"All right, I won't make it. But I hope if Mr. Arsen gets sick later, don't call my name, because — "

"Fine! I eat now" said Arsen cutting Nadira's speech. The woman smiled. Arsen greedily ate his food, not wanting to make the girl ignore him back for the umpteenth time.

"Then, I wanted to see Grandpa, but instead there was something like this ... Actually, what's going on, sir?" nadira asked after a while, cupping his bowl firmly, he looked at Arsen from the side. Honestly, hearing Arsen and Anthony's conversation earlier, his curiosity was quite disturbed.

Arsen stopped eating. Wiping his mouth with a tissue and then saying. "Grandfather did have a history of heart disease. Things like shock sometimes happen. The doctor explained it, right? Don't worry too much, Nadira."

That's not the answer Nadira wants. But, he knew, he could not force it any further. In a large and well-known family like Harrington, there are many secrets that are deliberately hidden. Perhaps Arsen also deliberately hid it for the sake of some good.

Although a little disappointed, Nadira tried to understand him. Putting down the bowl, Nadira got up from her seat. "alright. After this I want to go home first to get clothes and other necessities."

"Who with? Better not alone. Let me drop you off, will you?" tawar Arsenic.

"Certain Grandpa?"

"There's Anthony. I'll call some guards to stay here."

Nadira seemed to weigh something. Glanced at the bed where Areef was lying. "Okay, but I have to go somewhere first."
