Ch 44's. Second Test(2)

Ren Yuu's life went smoothly and Ren Yuu had already forgotten all about cultivation.
During these five years, Ren Yuu lived a normal life filled with happiness, laughter, and affection from his father and mother. This was the life that Ren Yuu had always dreamed of since his parents died.
Right now Ren Yuu was busy helping Feng Xuer cook in the kitchen excitedly. Ren Yuu had always helped Feng Xuer because Ren Yuu loved her mother so much. Ren Yuu used to help Feng Xuer in the kitchen before his parents were killed.
Suddenly arrived the cooking utensils used by Feng Xuer to make the fire damaged. Feng Xuer shriveled and looked at Ren Yuu as he said with a smile, "Yuu'er, can you pick up the tools to fix this? I put it in the barn."
"Good ma'am," Ren Yuu immediately ran towards the warehouse and still heard her mother's voice.
"Don't forget to bring Yuu'er's lighting, it's very dark inside."
"All right!!" Shouted Ren Yuu strongly while looking for lighting tools so as not to have trouble getting into the warehouse.
Ren Yuu searched the lighting around the pile of equipment that was often used by his family.
Unpacking the rather small box with a smile and high spirits, Ren Yuu finally found what he was looking for.
"I'll find you eventually."
Ren Yuu directly turned on the lighting device and started walking towards the back of the house and entered the small staircase that led downwards.
Ren Yuu slowly walked over and waved his hand as there were several spider nests around the passageway.
"It seems like I should clear this up later," whispered Ren Yuu as she continued walking and finally arrived at the small door. Ren Yuu instantly opened the storage warehouse and stuck the lighting device inside to check if anyone was blocking the way or not.
Looking at the slightly empty front of him, Ren Yuu slowly walked in and started looking around to look for the tools that Feng Xuer had ordered.
Ren Yuu began to inspect the items one by one from the edge to the inside of the room.
Suddenly Ren Yuu's eyes focused on the 30cm square box and wondered what it was. Ren Yuu slowly opened the box.
Ren Yuu brought the lighting device closer to look at the contents of the box and was surprised that the city only had paper in it. Out of curiosity, Ren Yuu picked up the paper and read it.
"This is the legacy I left behind for the successor of the Ren clan."
Ren Yuu read that and was confused then looked at the box again and was fine inside.
"Clan Ren's? Why is that familiar?"
Ren Yuu pondered and saw that the box had another side covered by wood. Ren Yuu put his hand into the box and pressed down.
The wood slowly turned around and there was an item stored inside. Out of curiosity, Ren Yuu tried to grab the other side of the box and fumbled with his hand.
Ren Yuu touched the small box and slowly pulled it. Ren Yuu who had taken the small box immediately brought the box closer to the lighting device.
The box was only about 6cm in diameter. Ren Yuu watched the box closely and Ren Yuu's body trembled violently.
"This.this.." Ren Yuu's body trembled and knew what the box was. Ren Yuu's sweat was pouring out because if the small box he was holding was reality, then everything he had been doing was not real.
"No way.."
"It's impossible.." Ren Yuu spoke softly and Ren Yuu's eyes glazed over as she began to recall something she had lived before.
Ren Yuu immediately stood up and ran outside to see his father and mother. When Ren Yuu came out of the warehouse, Ren Yuu saw a scene that made Ren Yuu want to shout loudly.
In front of him were the bodies of his father and mother lying in a pool of blood.
"Dad... Mum..." Ren Yuu called his father and mother trembling but his father and mother did not answer at all. Ren Yuu immediately approached the two of them. Ren Yuu immediately hugged her mother and cried loudly.
While crying, Ren Yuu looked at the small box again with a blank look. Ren Yuu knew that this was just an illusion. But Ren Yuu was not willing in the least.
While looking at the already cold bodies of his father and mother, Ren Yuu slowly stood up while walking out of the house.
Arriving at the door, Ren Yuu calmed herself down. Ren Yuu took a deep breath while contemplating everything that happened.
Ren Yuu looked at the small box again in his hand and turned inside the house. When it arrived at the bodies of his father and mother, Ren Yuu knelt down while shedding tears.
"Sorry dad, mom. I love you guys so much. But I have to keep moving forward and not look at the past. Even so, I'll still remember you both."
"I don't want to leave you or forget you. Even though I really want a life like this, this is no longer my life."
A bright light came out and covered Ren Yuu's gaze. Due to the glare, Ren Yuu closed his eyes. When the light dissipated, Ren Yuu opened his eyes again and looked at his surroundings curiously.
The patriarch of the Song clan who saw that nodded as he said, "relieving but not discarding or forgetting. Looks like this kid understands that."
"If these young people don't let go like they did before, this child will continue to be trapped inside there. Most individuals would not be willing to lose a person who is very important to him."
"Then, we will look at the second stage of this second test. What will he do."
On the other hand, Ren Yuu looked around and was reunited with the figure he met when he first started the second exam.
In front of him was the woman Ren Yuu knew very well, Mei.
The room changed again and Ren Yuu saw Mei making out in front of him with Li Pao.
"Yo loser!! How are you doing?" Li Pao asked as she stroked Mei who looked very happy with the treatment.
Ren Yuu's emotions overflowed again because in the previous illusion, Ren Yuu and Mei remained together.
Ren Yuu calmed herself down while looking at the two of them. After Ren Yuu calmed down, Ren Yuu started to recall Ren Huanran and Xing Jianying. Ren Yuu smiled from remembering that then looked towards Li Pao and Mei.
"Do what you want to do, I don't care. And.." Ren Yuu looked at Mei for a moment and said, "i forgive all the treatment you have done to me Mei. And.." Ren Yuu looked towards Li Pao again and said, "i don't care about what you're going to do either. I won't do the same when we last met."
Mei felt astonished and Li Pao looked furious. Ren Yuu just smiled looking at them. Seeing Ren Yuu's smiling face, the two of them smiled and turned and walked away.
"Oh? So quick to forgive?" Thought Patriarch clan Song while looking. "It looks like this kid does have a pretty pure heart."
"Let's see the last one. Because this is the hardest of all," said Patriarch clan Song as he continued to watch.
Suddenly a blinding light closed Ren Yuu's gaze again. After a while, Ren Yuu opened her eyes again then tried to look around. Ren Yuu felt astonished as to why he had returned to his house.
Ren Yuu walked down his house slowly and did not know why he was here anymore.
After nearly twenty minutes, Ren Yuu felt confused and did not know what to do because nothing had happened. Then Ren Yuu slowly walked out of the house.
Outside the house also looks ordinary and it is almost afternoon. Ren Yuu did not know what to do and continued walking out. When Ren Yuu was already nearly ten meters away from home, Ren Yuu heard a shout.
"No!!"
Ren Yuu was startled and looked back inside the house. Ren Yuu immediately ran inside and saw that his father had been killed. Then someone in black robes slowly pulled out a sword and intended to stab Feng Xuer who had been tortured.
Ren Yuu was startled and immediately jumped towards Feng Xuer. "Stop!!"
But it was just too late. The cloaked man stabbed Feng Xuer right in the heart.
Jem!!
Ren Yuu directly attacked that person. But, that person threw the dead Feng Xuer towards Ren Yuu. Ren Yuu directly caught his mother to check on her. But it was too late because Feng Xuer was already dead.
With a strong hatred, Ren Yuu shouted as he charged towards the cloaked person.
"I'll kill you!!"
Then Ren Yuu fought against that cloaked man.
The Patriarchal side of the Song clan
"Will he fail here? Yeah, it's common. Because I also failed here in the past," Patriarch clan Song said as he stroked his short beard and continued to watch Ren Yuu.
On Ren Yuu's side
Ren Yuu continued to fight against the cloaked man and could not win at all. Ren Yuu did not give up and continued to chase after that person.
Ren Yuu's fight with the cloaked man had happened for more than three hours. Ren Yuu felt that something was wrong. Because, despite being exhausted, Ren Yuu did not run out of profound energy.
"What's this about? Why is my profound energy not reduced in the least? Then this guy is the same. If it's like this, the fight will continue until we can't move," Inner Ren Yuu while continuing to attack his enemy.
Ren Yuu clenched his teeth and continued attacking with a strange feeling. Ren Yuu has been blinded and quasi-venge by revenge.
Meanwhile, the Patriarch of the Song clan continued to watch Ren Yuu's fight that would never be finished.
Seeing that, Patriarch Song only let out a sigh and said, "when you can't fight anymore, that's when you fail the test."
