Ch 43's. Second Exam
Advent Tower
Ren Yuu was very surprised by the figure that appeared in front of him. Ren Yuu did not know how to react.
"How can you?" Ren Yuu's question trembled slightly while looking at the figure in front of him.
The figure simply fell silent and did not answer Ren Yuu's question at all.
"Is this a doll too?"
Ren Yuu wanted to attack but was stopped by the voice of Patriarch of the Song clan.
"This is the second test. This test is called the test of life. You need to find a way to complete this exam. If you fail, you will be killed. Good luck to the young man."
Ren Yuu could not say a word hearing the words of the Patriarch of the Song clan and just stared at the figure in front of him.
After a while, the figure in front of him suddenly disappeared and the atmosphere in the surrounding area suddenly changed drastically.
Looking around, Ren Yuu was stunned again for being very familiar with this place.
Ren Yuu saw in front of him was a simple house. And that house was where Ren Yuu lived with his parents.
Suddenly Ren Yuu heard a very familiar voice behind him.
"Yuu'er? What the hell are you doing? Let's go in."
Ren Yuu looked back and trembled violently as the figure behind him was his father.
"Dad!!" Whisper Ren Yuu while shedding tears.
In front of Ren Yuu was a 30-year-old looking man and had a handsome face named Ren Douzi. Ren Douzi had features somewhat similar to Ren Yuu except that Ren Douzi had a thin mustache and a slight trace of stitches on his left forehead.
Ren Douzi had short black hair and the exact same eyes as Ren Yuu.
"Why are you crying?" Ren Douzi asked somewhat frantically and crouched down in front of Ren Yuu. Ren Yuu now looks 8 years old.
Hearing Ren Douzi's question, Ren Yuu did not know how to answer. Before Ren Yuu replied, a melodious voice sounded again from behind Ren Yuu.
"What's wrong? Why is Yuu'er crying?"
The woman immediately left and hurriedly looked at Ren Yuu as well. Ren Yuu was even more shocked because the person in front of him was his mother.
Ren Yuu's mother was named Feng Xuer. Feng Xuer had a very charming appearance and looked to be as early as twenty years old. With a clean white face, a tiny nose and charming pink lips.
Feng Xuer had bright orange-colored eyes with black pupils and long ash-to-waist gray hair like Ren Yuu.
"Mother!!" Isak Ren Yuu and hugged Feng Xuer tightly. Feng Xuer was confused by Ren Yuu's behavior and tried to comfort Ren Yuu as much as he could.
"What's Yuu'er? Why are you crying? Are you being bullied by that kid again?"
"Why do they keep bothering Yuu'er?" Ren Douzi was a bit annoyed that Ren Yuu was crying.
Ren Yuu was somewhat surprised by the words of his father and mother. Ren Yuu recalled instantly that he had been in the Advent tower before. Ren Yuu instantly retreated instantly from his mother's embrace.
Ren Douzi and Feng Xuer were surprised to see Ren Yuu's attitude.
"What's Yuu'er?" Feng Xuer asked nervously as Ren Yuu's expression was unpleasant to look at now.
Seeing Feng Xuer's panicked face, Ren Yuu was petrified and did not know how to react.
"Yuu'er? What was? You why?" Asked Feng Xuer again in an anxious tone.
"What's wrong with you, kid? Did they hurt you so hard?" Ren Douzi asked in a cold tone and it was not directed at Ren Yuu.
"I. I.." Ren Yuu did not know what to say with the two questions thrown at him. Ren Yuu clearly remembered that he had experienced this situation before and Ren Douzi beat up the child who bullied Ren Yuu.
"I'm fine, dad, mom."
Ren Douzi and Feng Xuer were a little confused because Ren Yuu suddenly did not cry anymore.
"Is that brat really not bothering you anymore?" Ren Douzi asked with a serious face.
Feng Xuer smiled sweetly then spoke, "well, let's eat first. I've made your favorite food."
Without waiting for Ren Yuu's reply, Feng Xuer pulled Ren Yuu into their home.
Then Feng Xuer had Ren Yuu sit on a chair and go towards the kitchen to prepare something. Ren Douzi sat across from Ren Yuu and was bounded by the dining table.
"Is this real? Is this a dream? But, there's no way this is real." Ren Yuu tried to pinch a bit of his skin and felt a pain which meant this was not an illusion.
Ren Yuu's daydream was cut off by the sound of a cutlery placed by Feng Xuer on the table.
Looking at the eating and cutlery that was already in front of the table, Ren Yuu's eyes returned somewhat moist because the food in front of him was his faforit that was often made by Feng Xuer.
"Eat Yuu'er, you must be hungry after playing from this afternoon," Feng Xuer said as he placed the food in front of Ren Yuu.
Due to his deep emotions, Ren Yuu slowly ate the food that Feng Xuer was serving. Ren Yuu was carried away with a dream and wished all this was reality.
Right now the Patriarch of the Song clan was looking at Ren Yuu's past closely. Patriarch Song clan wanted to know how Ren Yuu would complete the second test.
Among the hundreds of thousands of members of the Song clan, only a handful could pass the second exam. This test deals with love, compassion, power, conscience, resentment and hatred.
"If you can't get out, you'll be stuck in there forever."
Patriarch of the Song clan saw Ren Yuu's father and mother. Patriarch of the Song clan smiled when he saw them and knew Ren Yuu's identity firsthand.

"But..." Patriarch of the Song clan looked towards Feng Xuer while shrinking.

Outside the Advent tower
Everyone was looking at the tower seriously. Lan Xiuro had already woken up and shouted loudly at Yuan Ni for beating him unconscious and causing him to be unable to enter the tower.
Gong Da'i slowly walked towards Lan Xiuro and tried to comfort him but only getting scorn from Lan Xiuro which made Gong Da'i even more resentful of Ren Yuu all the way to his bone.
"What are you proud of that boy Miss Xiuro?" Gong Da'i asked somewhat annoyed that Lan Xiuro looked very interested in Ren Yuu.
"Hmp, what's your business with what I'm proud of?" Lan Xiuro snorted towards Gong Da'i for always interfering in her affairs.
Gong Da'i was angered by Lan Xiuro's attitude. But did not dare to touch Lan Xiuro as all of Lan Xiuro's squads had already regrouped with him. There were three Tier Core Formation ninth stage people and one eighth stage and one more seventh stage.
After all, Gong Da'i did not dare to touch Lan Xiuro if there was someone around her who knew Lan Xiuro. Otherwise, Gong Da'i would be hunted by Lan Xiuro's father who was the Patriarch of the Lan clan as well as the master of the Frozen Sect.

Then Yuan Ni walked towards Lan Xiuro and whispered in Lan Xiuro's ear. "Young lady, don't provoke Gong Da'i's anger which makes Gong Da'i want to hunt Yuu Shaw to the end of this continent."
Lan Xiuro petrified to hear Yuan Ni's words and knew he had done something wrong again and made Ren Yuu even more eager to be hunted by Gong Da'i.
Lan Xiuro glared at Yuan Ni with a gaze that implied, "why are you just talking like that now and not from earlier?"
Yuan Ni felt awkward with Lan Xiuro's gaze and did not know what to answer. Yang Sun on the other hand stayed away a little so as not to be affected as well. They were already too familiar with Lan Xiuro's nature that made everyone around him suffer.
Gong Da'i was still angry considering Lan Xiuro kissed Ren Yuu in front of her face and continued to look towards the tower while clenching her teeth. "When you get out, I'll kill you!!"
Ren Yuu does not know all that and continues to live life with his father and mother in the living room of the Advent tower.
