[S2] CHAPPIE. 67 - MEET CRIMINALS

”Hei! Didn't I tell you that I only eat the heart of a living creature?” shin Yixuan asked as she looked at the row of plates and bowls filled with green vegetables.

While eating his food, Yun Weixian replied unconcernedly. ”Don't complain too much. Eat what is here. You'll get sick easily if you don't eat vegetables.”

Shin Yixuan began to curl up on the table and said, ”I am not a human anymore! How could a demon like me be sick like a human?! Now, quickly give me food! I'm so hungry!” he said with a little scream.

Yun Weixian slammed a plate of vegetables in front of Shin Yixuan and said, ”Eat this! If it wasn't for you making the house a mess, I would have had time to hunt!” he said with a look of anger.

”Then, why not get up early? You know for yourself that I can't eat anything but the heart of a living being right?” chirps of Shin Yixuan who managed to make a vein appear on Yun Weixian's left temple.

Yun Weixian looked at him coldly and said, ”Eat what there is, little boy!”

”Hei! Who are you calling little boy?! I'm hundreds of years farther than you!” snapped Shin Yixuan.

Folding his hands and distracting him, Yun Weixian replied, ”Mistake yourself! After all no one told you to change into a child!”

”Oh? So that's the problem?” Shin Yixuan smiled with a grin and soon after, she stood up with her size back to what it was. ”... Who do you call a child, you baby!” he continued as he cornered Yun Weixian to a corner of the room.

Yun Weixian was expressionless as Shin Yixuan tried to corner her. He was used to this and that's why he asked, ”You want to eat my heart, don't you? I told you to eat. Besides, I gave it up a long time ago, right?”

Shin Yixuan was stunned. He lowered his hand back and moved his back to Yun Weixian. ”... No exclaiming! I would never accept a heart voluntarily unless, if that person showed a little resistance.”

Yun Weixian looked at him confusedly and said, ”Then, why not start a fight? I'm sure I'll lose to you and you can eat my heart.”

Unable to bear with the words said by Yun Weixian, Shin Yixuan continued to cover both of her ears and said, ”I did not hear! Instead of doing all that, I should not need to eat for today! I'll go!” he said lazily as he walked out into the forest around them.

As he watched her leave, Yun Weixian was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief after he continued arguing with Shin Yixuan. He knew that he would never win if he continued to argue with her because of that, he had no choice but to sacrifice himself.

”Haah, he is so weird! What a raw heart like that. But, it seems like it has been 15 years that he did not eat the human heart.” Yun Weixian thought. ”... Uh! What care! Let him starve like that! It's his own fault for not wanting to eat what there is!”

”Ahhh! Are there no deer or elephants here?! Comeon! I'm so hungry here! Show up now!” shin Yixuan's grumbling was hiding behind the bushes. He was wearing his body when he was five years old.

He always used his small body because he did not want to waste his energy just to use his large original body.

Shortly after, he finally came out of the bushes because he did not find the right prey. He had never managed to find any large animals because all this time, he had been relying on Yun Weixian to find his food.

”Uhh,... It seems like the heart of the animal only lasts for one day. Unlike the human heart that can last decades. I'm so hungry.” grumbled Shin Yixuan while holding her stomach that felt sore.

Shin Yixuan walked back to somewhere and hoped that she could find a large magical beast. He continued to pay attention around and unconsciously that he was currently feeling very sleepy.

Obtaining the title as a lazy Demon King was indeed not an advantage for him. If he was in the mortal realm, he would have to work hard to get his prey. Unlike if he was in his palace, he would sleep and eat more often without doing anything. In fact he would always be on his bed regardless of what was happening inside his palace.

Shin Yixuan stopped and leaned against a large tree. He now intends to sleep in that place. However, he suddenly heard the sound of meat chewing that sounded very real, as well as the sound of very hot sparks.

Again, Shin Yixuan walked back following the sound and scent of the flesh that was in front of her. He continued to step through the pile of bushes in front of him until finally, he stopped when he saw a group of young men who were burning deer meat.

He seemed to really want the meat, moreover, the deer still has his heart uncooked. Because of his hunger, he unconsciously walked up to them in the form of a five-year-old child. Then, as he had been among these young men, his gaze continued to point towards the venison that was being skinned.

”Hei! Young man! What do you want?!” asked one of the young men who walked up to Shin Yixuan while in front of their deer.

Shortly after, Shin Yixuan replied, ”I want his heart. Give me the heart.”

”What are you talking about, young man?! Go!” said the burly young man who immediately pushed Shin Yixuan away even until he hit a tree.

”Hei! Don't be so rude to her!” said one of the young men who had a wound on his nose.

The young man directly held onto both of Shin Yixuan's shoulders and said, ”This is a child. Better use him! We can sell it at a high price. After all, his body is also still good and there are no scars.”

Everyone there smiled a grin as soon as they heard this explanation. ”A very good idea. Hurry along! Tie him up in the tree!”

”Why hasn't he returned yet? I've been here for hours and even the sun is almost sinking. Where did he go?!” annoyed Yun Weixian who was waiting in front of her house.

”... Is he looking for food? There was no way he was going too far from his home. Or maybe something happened to him? Maybe he met a criminal who knew he was a Devil?!” inner Yun Weixian who was starting to get anxious. ”... What am I worried about?! After all, he was already strong enough to protect himself! I'd better get dinner ready today.”
