The biggest battle during their journey was when Dans fought a monster in the form of a giant frog.
Previously, the giant frog camouflaged into a swamp and managed to outwit them. The frog's back is overgrown with moss and trees because the size of the frog makes them without hesitation walk on it. Luckily Suzuka and Dans managed to catch Udin and Tiana so that the two passengers did not fall. Dayat can condition itself.
Fight's starting. Dans initially borrowed Dayat's sword which usually became a weapon just in case. In the first round of confrontation, Dans was able to incise several slash wounds on the frog using a simple combination of attacks. The challenge was that he had to face tongue lashes and frog jumps that could take long distances.
But regeneration ability is not a challenge for Dans. Instead, he held the key to fighting the regeneration ability. Dans' Anti-Regeneration allows him to disable the opponent's regeneration. He only needed to add an Anti-Regeneration layer to his sword and continue the attack like before.
The outcome of the fight is predictable. Dans can win the fight. Many slash wounds had to be borne by the colossal giant frog. From the beginning, Dans' Anti-Regeneration ability became the perfect counter for the frog. Today, the frog is making trouble with the wrong person.
Speaking of frogs, Udin is like a frog in a well. He had not seen the neighborhood before. Once he saw, he was amazed. Never thought that his classmates would have such great fighting abilities. Experience, that's what Udin lacks.
Udin spent more time training. Already so, he did not have a suitable teacher. Once he went outside, he escaped from the monsters. He failed to confront his enemy. Still mending Dans and Dayat as they both have been under pressure for quite some time now. But for Udin, he lived a relaxed life. The biggest conflict is most affected by bullying. It is inconceivable with Dans and Dayat who were once on the edge of death with fatal wounds.
At least the place they were going to could make them strong. Suzuka did not want to bother with taking care of Udin. That's why they walk without rest. From morning to evening, they continued their journey with Dans paving the way. Luckily at least Udin and Tiana could follow.
But not long after that, they found something that made everything go silent. Their steps stopped. Dans felt his legs seem cemented to the ground as he looked up at the sky. Because, up there he saw the Zen troupe traveling by flying.
There was no need to ask where Zen and his comrades were going. From the direction alone it can be deduced if they head to the Crown Mountain Preceptor. They must have had the same goal as Dans and his squad members.
“How did they get here?” Dans.
“Heh, looks like they have a great informer.” Suzuka chuckles.
“Is this pet dog better than a wild wolf?” sahut Dayat's.
Honestly speaking, it was cheating when the five of them had to walk through the miasma and fight against the keroco monsters that were just wasting their time. Above them. Zen and his group members flew past everything. They don't waste time, they don't waste energy, and they're fast. The mobility ability of the Zen squad is greater.
Of course, this is not spared thanks to the Kingdom who always provide material to be processed into equipment by Meta. Getting equipment in a loving way is much more time saving than having to look for it yourself. That way, Zen squads can have the best material equipment. This is different from the group Dans who since the beginning of the journey still use cheap equipment.
