Highlighting to another zone, we go to the Udin part. For several weeks Udin continued to train with Tania. As a guest from another world, Udin was really quick at learning. He gets a bonus. That was why he could stand beside Tania who lived in this harsh world. In the fighting position, these two people complement each other. Udin realizes that he has magic with the light element, while Tania's genetics make him strong in physical terms. Tania is in the vanguard, while Udin supports with magic.
In short, the two of them decided to go on an adventure on their own. Basically because Udin was not fit to be there. The tenuous relationship between humans and beastmen makes it not get treated well. So did Tania. He who was close to humans made other beastmen stay away from him. Actually going will not necessarily give better results, but it feels much better than just staying there.
Now, they were both confused reading the map.
"Now that we're here, we should be here…." Tania glared at the parchment map in her hand. It was hard for him to read the symbols. The line between the river and the road is still often misread.
"No, no, you're upside down." Udin. He only realized that Tania was holding an upside-down map up and down. "This is why we're not even up to that."
"Sorry…."
"Look, no one beats you." Udin stroked Tania's head slowly. The man also smiled a little. A small mistake made Tania cute to him. But he should have known, right now the two of them were lost deep in the wilderness in the middle of nowhere.
"Yes, thank you." Tania nodded. He smiled back at Udin. "But how do we do now?" He looked up. There the dense leaves of the trees block the sunlight.
"Hmmm…." Dayat held his chin while looking up. He thought hard to solve their problems. "The plan is we will go to the Ancient Tower of Alada which is in the south. But due to a misdirection, we instead went north. It's a really complicated condition."
If not good at reading directions, mending do not adventure. They are so lost both of them. Without a plan, go away because of ego. Typical oramh like them - they are indeed asked in tampol. Their survival skills in the wild are zero! These two amateurs foolishly went on a dangerous journey.
And now the bushes are moving. The two turned around to see who was behind there. At first they thought it was a hunter who had a grudge against them and wanted to beat them both up. But no, it was a monster. A monster from a fantasy world that often endangers people.
"Revelation!" Tania jumped on Udin. They both fell down and over.
Not bad, but Udin stood in the path of the monster. More so, Udin was off guard. He was unaware of the monster coming towards them. If it continues to be left, it will plonga-plongo and become a pillar of samsak. What worse for him? He had no survival skills, but desperately went into the forest and went on an adventure.
They both got up immediately.
Udin watched the monster that had just led to them. If Udin had to describe, this monster has a deer wujug complete with large horns. Not just the horns, but all parts of his body are much larger than any deer he sees on Earth (only through social media applications because they never meet in person). Saying it as a deer, the monster is also a garang— similar to a rhinoceros. His sharp eyes looked at the two of them.
"Be careful. The name of the monster is a rhino deer. The ram can topple trees!" Tania warned.
'The name of the monster is strange!' inner Udin.
Don't think of the monster's name. From that, the rhino deer was getting ready. He kicked the ground several times using it the front right foot. Then he ran as fast as he could towards the two of them. The difficult forest terrain did not interfere with his speed at all.
*dugh!*
Udin closed his eyes and prepared for a monster crash. Then came a loud voice. Not from the monster that hit her body, but Tiana jumped towards the monster and gave a hovering kick that flew the body of the deer monster.
"Udin, I know you're scared, but try to stay calm. Fear and trembling in this situation will actually worsen our condition. Quickly use your magic to inflict wounds on monsters. The power of your magic is powerful, isn't it?"
Udin recalled his training with Tania. They train under the hot sun, sweat and feel pain at night, then fight their hardest to be strong enough in the wild (though nothing compared to Dana and Dayat). Their first achievement was to defeat the hunters who insulted them before. Udin recalled the moment he created the light grains for his first magic.
And that's the magic he uses now. He pointed his palm at the rhino deer, started to focus on feeling the energy flowing there, then began to imagine the shape of the magic. Yellow light there. A yellow light granule swirling above his palm.
"Diana! Move aside! I'll attack him!"
Tiana heard. He's off the attack line.
With those cues, Udin made a throwing pose, then the yellow beads of light shot out. They float in the air and lead directly to the rhino deer. In a short time, Udin's attack landed right on the deer's body. Unfortunately one. They have no impact at all.
The deer got confused. He was silent in his place. In his mind to the point of thinking, what the hell was that weak attack? Know this I just kill the kid. I want to laugh, but I am afraid of sin. Poor people who are laughed at. He has given his best effort at all costs. Although the edges still fail, anyway.
"Today…." Tiana whimpering.
Should he be angry? Saddened? Or should I be afraid? On one hand he knew Udin was doing it for his sake, but if there was no impact like gini, what would be the point? Wasn't the kick of the kakinua faster and more useful?
The awkward atmosphere there.
Therefore, let's go to highlight other zones. We visited the place where the beastmen lived, the place where the group of hunters who attacked and belittled Udin safely, comfortably, and peacefully relaxed and conversed with each other.
"Hey, are we sure we're giving in to the boy?"
"The determination of the human boy has been unanimous. I saw it from his eyes. He really, really wants to be free and doesn't want to be underestimated. That human boy reminded me of myself when I was a kid. I used to admire my father who was a hunter."
"Oh…."
Tiana and Udin, they're both unworthy of adventure.
