Ballad Inmates

Ballad Inmates (Part 54)

By Dalem Tehang

ABOUT two hours, I slept in the middle of the noisy atmosphere of the prisoners who were struggling.

They clustered in front of the cell door and filled the entire length of the passage. Chat with fellow.

“That Babe is awake. Tell Gustav, he said he wanted to chat with Babe,” Aris told Ijal. They both stood in front of the room.

I saw Ijal move. Tells Gustav, the head of the block of the detention house complex. Aris walked into the room, approached me and sat down beside me.

“So Gustav has been here three times, he said he wanted to chat with Babe. We can't be bothered until Babe wakes up alone. Because he just entered the room this morning,” said Aris gave an explanation.

Not long after, Gustav came and sat down beside me. He brought me a warm cup of coffee.

“Sorry, bang. I was here three times. But brother's sleeping. I dare not build,” said Gustav. Open chat.

“Yes, Aris has also told me. I just slept on that subuhan, Gustav. Hired to stay up at the guard post,”. While enjoying the warm coffee that Gustav brought.

“I know how my brother chatted at the guard post. Fun really like,” said Gustav, smiling meaningfully.

“Then it's just a chat, Gustav. Nothing matters very much. Alhamdulillah can be invited to chat with commanders,” I said. With a calm voice.

“That's amazing, bang. Talk to the commanders. Especially the position of being a gini prisoner. Lha, again free outside never met, boro-boro can chat like aman,” response Gustav.

“That is the favor of God, Gustav. With difficulty, there is ease. With hardship, there is happiness. The important thing is sincere and continue to be grateful for what is,”, I said. Keep trying to build optimism in compulsion. The minimum for yourself.

Aris and I knew exactly what Gustav was going to talk about until he came to my room several times.

Nothing else about the fate of his sister-in-law who became a guard officer and troubled with me, so he had to undergo a provost examination.

“Omongin you want to take, Gustav. Don't talk,” said Aris.

There is an impatient tone to Aris. Because he had a dispute with Gustav about the problem of his sister-in-law.

“Nyantai anyhow. Let my brother be real. Not-don't right now his life is half,” reply Gustav. Half-kidding.

The head of this detention house complex is trying to stay relaxed. Although it could not cover up, if there was resentment in her heart with Aris's talk.

“So gini, Gustav. I know what you want to hear. You need to know, I took what was in the clarification in the provos about your brother-in-law. I don't have any personal problems, nor do I know him. When I was asked, so where's the fault, I said because he didn't know Mr. Rudy's policy. About respecting each other, don't judge, and so on. It is doang, no more, no less,” I said. Deciphering what Gustav wanted to know.

Looks Gustavo mangosteen. Trying to understand what I'm saying. Something he was waiting for.

“About how is the continuation of the problem yes, bang?” ask Gustav, a few moments later.

“Well, I don't understand that. But the examiner said, all return to the commander,”.

“Please help anyway, bang. How my sister-in-law was not punished. Especially until entering the mouse cells for 14 days,” Gustav said again.

Gustav's face looked grim. There seems to be a deep sadness there. Sadness is not because of thinking about the fate of her imprisoned self, but imagining the distress that could be experienced by her biological sister, the wife of the guard who is troubled with me.

Often, we are either consciously or unconsciously ignoring the pain in ourselves. And more concerned with the fate of others, although not necessarily it becomes a reality.

“Please, bang. Help my brother-in-law,” again Gustav expects.

“Try me, how to help him?” my many.

“Remove brother's report to the provos,” he said full of emphasis. There is a tone really full of hope.

“Wah, you're wrong, Gustav. I never reported to your brother-in-law. I was just asked for clarification. Ask a member of the provos, you know a lot,” I explained seriously.

“O that, so who dong report to provos? If I get caught, I'm gonna hang the guy, bang. Already stuck in this cell,” continued Gustav in a furious tone.

“Find out yourself, Gustav. I don't know. And for me, this business is done with me being asked for clarification,”.

“Okay if so, bang. I'm sorry if I suspected my brother who reported to my brother-in-law,” Gustav said and hurriedly greeted me with great respect. Continue to exit the room.

After Gustav died, Aris and I looked at each other. We both have our own judgment on the matter.

“I think Babe wanted to tell me what this is about,” said Aris, breaking the atmosphere focused on each other's minds.

“Yes is not possible, Ris. Mr. Rudy told me everything because of trust. I do not want to destroy good relationships that have been established,” said me with a smile.

“While our fate is yes, Be. Friends outside the former decet, now far and even say. But here, we even meet new people who inshaallah good and more care. What is the wisdom of the turn of our fate is yes,” said Aris.

His eyes glare. Penetrate the ceiling of the cell room. As if looking for an answer.

“Nevent to think about the silver lining, Ris. This one is there with pleasure. It is acceptance of destiny. Enjoy-enjoy only,”.

I realized right, to not get carried away Aris thought in searching for a beam of wisdom. For it is the mystery of life which is the full right of the Most Reason. Let time make it happen.

Ijal entered the room in a hurry. Telling me I was asked to the guard post.

“What's the matter, Jal?” my many. Somewhat surprised.

“Officers say there is Babe's wife and child,” said Ijal. In his hand were two plastic bags filled with food. With my wife, Laksmi.

Spontaneous I stand. After spraying body fragrance on the shirt I was wearing, I hurriedly walked out of the room with a cheerful face. A plastic bag containing dirty clothes.

Turns right. My wife, Laksmi, and my youngest son, Halilintar, are at the checkpoint. Sitting in a long chair while talking to the picket officer.

As soon as I came, my wife and my ragil, moved closer to the bars. I hugged them both from the iron sidelines of the separation. A loving hug.

There was a very deep yearning after a few days of not meeting my wife because she was outside of her office. Especially on the Thunderbolt, my ragil light, which only first looked since I entered bui. (connected)
