“MESTINYA, your family can not also directly behave like that, Aris. Who the hell wants to get a case, let alone go to jail,” said Edi.

“That's coming after us, Cap. My family has their own views. And their opinion greatly influenced my wife and my children,” said Aris.

“Emang what is your family view?” ask Edi with a serious face.

“If you've been in jail it means it's over. Good name and so on. Even extreme, considered no longer have a future,” explained Aris. Also in a serious voice.

“Sorry, according to me, not really your family's view. Going to jail does not mean that his future is over. Nor can we fix life. Your family has crossed a line in the value of someone's life. It's all fate. God is like a gini. Can not only be seen from the outer glasses aja,” said Edi. Length width.

Aris. There seems to be a struggle in it. On the one hand acknowledge the truth of Edi's statement, on the other hand he better understand how his family's attitude. He stood at a crossroads.

“So how are you doing with all this?” ask Joko suddenly. Get to the point of the problem.

Aris did not answer. He smoked the cigarette back in his hand. He sprinkled thick smoke from his mouth with a strong thrust. It was as if the expression of the shock for the sake of the irregular beat that was in his soul.

We were both silent for a long time. Only their minds speak. I looked at Aris. A man my age with this dashing even cool look, unexpectedly, kept a strange matter in itself.

During this time he closed through his cheerful disposition, his wise attitude, caring for others, and continued to be Istiqomah in building closeness with the Almighty.

“Yes, not everything must be completed at this time. You should pray Istikharoh first, Ris. Ask God to signal His blessing,” I said. Breaking the silence, while melting the atmosphere that becomes gripping.

Aris nodded her head. He got up from his seat. Hugged us in turns.

“You are people who understand the situation I am in. Please do not hesitate to keep sharing. Sharing problems, sharing stories, and of course sharing knowledge for the good of all of us in the future,” said Aris with a vibrating voice.

There was a deep novelty in his soul that was shaking. His cupped body added to the strong shock.

Me, Joko, and Edi nodded. We understand very well, in this kind of time the meaning of the presence of a true friend is very necessary. No matter the different social status let alone rank and position. Because all the decoration of the world is mortal. There's finally.

“Babe, please later teach me prayers isikharoh yes,” said Aris later. I'm stunned.

“I don't know how either, Ris. Try it later we find out yes,” I replied. What is.

Joko stands. Towards the corner of the room. There's a pile of books in there. He's picky. And then he turned around. Carrying a book that read: the procedure of circumcision prayer.

“Try searching in this book, Ris. I think there is a way to pray isikharoh,” said Joko while handing the book to Aris. (connect)

Ballad Inmates (Part 31)

By Dalem Tehang

THAT NIGHT, we were occupants of room 10 of the detention house complex, eating together as usual. Only the dishes are different.

This time, the cadong rice that Ijal had stored since noon, was covered in half-cooked instant noodles.

“Sorry, we eat this malem no side dish as usual. Don't know why, my wife this afternoon did not come and there is no news,” I said. When we started dinner.

“Just relax, Be. Before there was Babe, we often did not eat malem. Most coffee is the same as buying fried foods. That's also if there is still a monthly money stock,” said Edi, head of the room. Runaway.

“Yes, I get it. Our name is in prison, we must be ready for any condition. But I feel less fit this malem,”, I said again.

Edi. During this time, the occupants of room 10 every day could be said to only eat once. Breakfast only. It also has to buy and a pack is eaten together, sometimes even three.

They can eat lunch if they are still part of the rice cadong. If the prisoner's rice rations were up for the other room occupants, they would be forced to bite their fingers. Because the position of room 10 is at the very end of the prisoner complex. So often it is broken.

They will have lunch like Eid, if the big day arrives. That is Tuesday and Jum’at. And that during this time rarely lunch, occurs on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

“Makanya, we agreed that Monday and Thursday are better fasting. Actually fasting is for lunch, you get a reward,” said Edi. While letting go of bitter smile.

“Do not see it, Kap. His name is in prison. There will be no good. Obviously, tomorrow I'm the devolution. For a while I was separated from all my friends. Later we meet again at rutan,” Joko interjected.

We all just woke up. Tomorrow afternoon Joko will be the submission of the second stage file. From the prisoners entrusted to the mapolres, he will again be entrusted by the prosecutor at the state detention house aka rutan. Until the trial broke up.

“It's definitely tomorrow devolvement huh, Joko?” my many. He nodded. Ensuring.

“Joko departs, the place that changed the Aris. Aris' place is for Arya,” said Edi. Set the occupant position of room 10.

“Sabar anyway, Kap. Not to mention I'm leaving, I've set up a position. I think I'm waiting for the real me to go,” said Joko. Joking.

We all laughed. Even so, it cannot be covered if there is sadness, because tomorrow one of the occupants of the room will leave. Although actually commonplace things happen. Meet to part. Natural.

Deni tamping is coming. Signal to Edi. They were chatting quietly by the iron-tested window. Pretty long. Then Edith called Iyos and Doni.

Deni opened the room door. But Edi followed Iyos and Doni just returned to their respective places.

Deni locked the cell room back. And disappeared from our front room. Go to tamping place. Next to the detention house.

“Not so get out, Kap?” ask Joko. Edi shook his head.

The middle-aged man who had been in and out several times, sat back and lit his cigarette. He gave the code to Ijal to make his special drink. Bitter coffee.

“Your son, Joko. Tomorrow is the devolvement. Lha I until now is still unclear,” said Edi while looking at Joko.

“All there will be time, Cap. And certainly will not be more than three months we in this mapolres,” said Joko.

“Yes too yes. I just wanted two months here. If it can be more cepet devolvenya, so do not continue to stress,” continued Edi.

“Emang pak Edi is stressed out right here?” my question, suddenly.

“Yes yes, Be. He did not abis-uran every mallem invited entertainment with the officer with the female prisoner,” he said. Blurted.

“Large yes cost of conduct in that prison, Kap,” said Joko. Fishing.

“Berlipet-lipet of us looking for entertainment outside of course, Joko. Not to mention if we get fucked. Pews, for example six bags. Most bought in three bags only, continue to be mixed with their same water. But the same appointed us are six pockets. Finally instead of happy, even abdominal pain due to bloating,” said Edi while smiling wryly.

“Already know that why followed,” Arya interjected.

“You're still a child, Arya. Not yet time to know,” said Edi with ketus.

“Especially because it was a small then want to know, Kap. Let it be later if it is big, not one step,” said Arya.

“Not wrong what step. Now you go to jail. Come out later you are meticulous again, yes enter again. Unless you really want to change yourself and stay away from the environment that is not real,” Edi chimed in with a high voice.

We're all quiet. Not usually Edi the head of the room spoke in a high tone. Joko signals Arya not to talk anymore.

Suddenly, my eyes stared at Aris's place. He seemed to be asleep. Or to force yourself to sleep.

Covering his whole body with a sheath cloth. His face was covered with coffee.

I looked at Joko, who was also staring at Aris' sleeping position.

“Pity of our friend,” said Joko slowly. I nodded my head.

“I was taught to my father. Never give up under any circumstances. But conquer with confidence, that God will not let us lose, because we are beloved servants. That's what my father said,” said Joko.

“What a wonderful thing your father taught you, Joko. Pantes you have a tough mentality and do not know broken spirit. You should be proud of your father,”, I said as I gave him both thumbs up.

“The father of nyampein because I chose to leave the house after he mutusin want to marry again, just a year after my mother died.  At the time, I did not agree with his decision. So the consequence is, I have to get out of the house. Since then I have been wandering. Find life here. Lastly, I was the truck driver. At the end of the day I live in prison,”, Joko said. Her voice is raucous. Resisting sadness.

“The name is also the way of life, Joko. We never know the plot and it is full of mystery twists. Like you said, live this destiny. To be sure, no matter how dark our past, our future has not been tarnished. There is still time to improve and achieve our dreams,” I said. Raised heart. Also encouraged myself.

Suddenly Aris woke up. Directly sit. Breaths gnawing. Face pale.

“You're a nightmare, Ris?” greet Joko.

Aris looked at Joko. Also staring. He took a bottle of mineral water beside his bed. Drink the water in a hurry. He is the parent of a cigarette butt that is stored behind a plastic bag where his clothes are.

“Yes, I have a bad dream. I want to be hacked by people,” said Aris after calming down while smoking his cigarette.

Edi approaching. He took Aris to sit next to me and Joko. He leaned his body against the bathroom wall. His breath is still unsettled.

“Your dream is just a flower bed, Ris. Because your thoughts and feelings are no longer new. All you need to know is that you are not the only one who got divorced when you are in gini prison,”, Edi said in a soft voice.

“Emang Kap have you ever experienced?” ask Aris. His eyes looked sharply at Edi.

“Iya, I've experienced it. Even twice,” said Edi. Expressionless.

“It means twice filed for divorce, so yes Kap?” joko Sela. Edi nodded.

“Kok can do that?” said Aris again.

“In gini prison we just realized that the contents of this world is actually full of possibilities, Ris. For people who are already in prison, he will not be afraid to face the situation as difficult as anything or pride himself excessively when living a life full of success as great as anything. He will slow-slow aja,” said Edi.

“Why could that be, Mr Edi?” my question, curious.

“Because living in that prison is full of possibilities. Take gini for example. We've only been comfortable rumbling this mall for a few hours, not bothered as much as the strange officers want. Do not count until morning we are comfortable. Could it be later fitting we again lelep-lelepnya sleep, officer bergegedor room. Want this that's what it is. From that simple we can learn, if in fact the essence of life is full of possibilities alias there is no such thing as certainty, let alone immortality,” explained Edi. Length width.

“So if we're here continues to happen anything that is beyond our expectations, treated mediocrely, that's what it means?” aris sela.

“Yes no choice, Ris. As human beings, we have a choice. Even many choices. But don't forget, things have reality. And we will not be powerless to fight against that reality,” continued Edi. (connected)
