“Fae, wait!” Elysia tried to reach Faelan with a crumpled body covered in blood.

Elysia failed to hold him back.

The Faelan pendant started to shake.

Then...

With an unimaginable speed, Faelan darted, leaving behind only a collection of dust and footprints that formed an indentation on the cave floor.

Faelan was filled with a golden blue light emanating from the dragon relic in her pendant.

Faelan attacked the Minotaur which no longer looked the same as before.

Of course, it wasn't just Faelan who had improved.

The minotaur was like burning black flames that were raging fiercely.

Each collision of their weapons produced a clash of two energies, a blue light and a red darkness, which rattled the entire cave.

Faelan repeatedly bounced back, but as fast as lightning he immediately lunged with the sword which was now filled with a golden blue light.

The Minotaur blew out its rock.

Faelan held him down with a sword that seemed much smaller than the Minotaur's mace.

Faelan's feet slammed into the ground.

A dust cloud followed by a great tremor now filled the cave.

“Keuuk!” erang Faelan's.

Faelan tilted her sword.

The Minotaur's mired in hit the ground.

Immediately Faelan made an upward slash, towards the opponent's chest and muzzle.

The Minotaur warrior groaned as Faelan's sword sliced through his chest to his face.

The Minotaur kicked Faelan's rib very hard.

KRAKK!!

Three broken Faelan ribs.

Faelan bounced to the cave wall.

Then a black energy again regenerated the Minotaur's wound. “A hero who is an amateur, remains only a fighter for corn. You are too weak even to fight the lowest warrior of the Great Zarok!” his yell.

The Minotaur then scumbags Faelan against the cave wall.

Then..

DUARR!

A huge blow struck Faelan's broken rib.

“AAAAARRRGH!!” Faelan is in real pain.

DUARR!

DUARR!

DUARR!

I don't know how many more hits that hit Faelan's ribs.

Faelan tried desperately to fend off the Minotaur hit.

But, the Minotaur's punch was too fierce. Each stalk of Faelan only added to the pain he was suffering. The buff he received from Elysia was like nothing.

Dragon relic? Where was your strength yesterday? Faelan shrieked in his heart while his consciousness slowly began to vanish.

For a moment, Faelan's pendant seemed to dim.

So, is this how it ends?

“Hahaha. What child in prophecy? The bastard Frederick must have overestimated the” the Minotaur was attacking blindly.

Faelan was really about to faint.

NAY! I can't end up like this.

Meanwhile, Elysia who was still lying down because of her magic energy that suddenly reached her limit, started muttering “I told you she is something that you cannot handle with your current abilities, Fae. Even with the explosion of your dragon magic energy. This Minotaur is different from the soldiers you fought in the forest. Why don't you run when I ask you. Basic Fae is stubborn!”

Elysia noticed that the golden light from Buff Aurum on Faelan's body was beginning to weaken.

“No! Buff Aurum is about to run out. If this continued, Fae no longer had any defense. His endurance would only be equivalent to an ordinary human. Once hit, Fae will finish”

Elysia smiled as she shed tears as she uttered the final slap of the CEssence of Self-Preservation magic. A protection spell that sacrifices the life of its user.

A golden white glow suddenly shot out from Elysia's body which was now starting to turn cold.

The sparkle was like it was gathering another spark, circling above Elysia's body.

Faelan was still helplessly sprawled under the heavy hammer of the Minotaur warrior.

Buff Aurum Faelan has been completely depleted.

“HAHAHAHA! FINISH YOUR HISTORY O BLESSED CHILD! Shouted the Minotaur. His shout sounded even more like a creepy howl.

Elysia. I'm a careless kid. There was no change even after I was in a cool pretentious style in front of you. Forgive me, Elysia, Faelan looked at Elysia with a look of pain and regret.

Then the Minotaur trampled on Faelan's back many times until Faelan had no more energy even to open his eyes.

“Your name is Faelan, right? Did Relugus Zephyr, the old man give you his surname? You're just a pick-up boy. Hahahaha” Minotaur continued to torture while insulting Faelan. “Are you there when the old man smelled the soil gone? Hey hey hey Master Hero, great Faelan. Tell me how he died? Is he acting weird and raving like you? HAHAHAHAHA”

The golden-white light that swirled over Elysia's body now looked so bright. It dazzled and filled the cave. Even his brilliance came out of the mouth of the cave.

The light contained the life of Elysia that had crystallized with the Essence of Self-Preservation magic.

The light was preparing to rush towards Faelan, leaving Elysia's body.

The Minotaur was now aware of the bright light that was behind it. This Elf's magic was different from before. It's dangerous! His mind, then he was immediately in a standby position.

Suddenly a deep darkness spread from the ground, where the Minotaur and Faelan were
