The Retaliation of the Dragon: Rise Of The Unbroken

The Retaliation of the Dragon: Rise Of The Unbroken
Tragedy at Night

By then, the sun had already set, and darkness had engulfed the village. The young Faelan, who was only 11 years old, hid in the room while watching Roderick's father, who was the ruler of the village, was scolding Old Man Reg, Faelan's adoptive father, in their old living room.

This wise orphanage owner tried to gently defend Faelan from Roderick's father's anger. He spoke in a calm voice, “Master Blake, Faelan is just a child. Please forgive him. I'll punish him later”

“LITTLE BOY YOU SAY?!” hardik Fraderick Blake was full of anger, “Look what he has done to my poor Roderick” now he holds his son's shoulder with a sad look.

Roderick looks ragged. Her hair and fancy clothes had turned black and charred. The silver sword that her father gave her as a birthday present has also now been broken in two.

“Tuan, please. I'll make up for the loss” Reg kowtowed and hugged Frederick's leg.

Two of Frederick's bodyguards are seen immediately on standby with spears ready to be cut at any time.

Frederick kicked Reg pretty hard. “HAH??! Change, you say? HAHAHAHAHA”

Frederick raised the collar of Reg's shirt, “This orphanage tax of yours alone you're still in arrears for 10 years. That old body of your carcass won't sell at the slave market either. Then, what are you going to pay for it with?” Frederick then threw Reg's body and spat at him.

From inside the room, Faelan peered through the gap of the weathered wooden door. He shook so angry. He bit his lips until they bled. But, he had to keep his promise to Reg. He can't come out, no matter what.

Roderick suddenly shouted, “AYAH!! FAELAN IS A WITCH!!. I saw it myself. The fire that burned me came from her magic!!”

“WHAT??!!” Frederick wildest. As fast as lightning he was in a combat-ready position.

Quickly, the two Blake family bodyguards directly pulled their spears towards Faelan's room.

The old Reg with all his strength stood up and blocked in front of the room door.

Frederick took out a large sword that had been hanging on his waist.

Frederick approached with a cruel face, “Hei Tua Bangka Reg! If it's just your debt, it's something I can tolerate. This is a big case. You know the possession of magic in this country is illegal?”

Frederick's blade was suddenly surrounded by a pitch-black light. “Except some certain nobles. If everyone could have magic, this country would be a mess” Frederick and then smile evilly. “Now, move! There's something I want to make sure”

Once again the old Reg prostrated and hugged Frederick's leg.

“That's it!!” Frederick kicked Reg.

Reg crashed. He quickly hugged Frederick's leg. Begging while crying. “Tree. Listen to me just once. If this was your father, he would understand. Faelan is only a child who needs to be guided. It is not his fault that he was born with magic”

“MINGGIR SAID!!” Frederick now looks very angry, “Don't bring my late father!! He just

old, old man's a stump. His choice not to join the alliance only aggravated the plight of the people. For that, I removed him. I'm not a silly guy like him. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT OLD MAN?!!!”

Frederick kicked Reg again. Real loud.

Reg until bounced away.

Frederick's feet were seen being fed by the same black light that surrounded his blade.

Reg rising. Staggered, he immediately stood in front of the door of the room while stretching out his hands.

“Please! Forgive my son! I promise this won't happen again. I'll go far with Faelan. Frederick, please!! I'll do whatever you want to let him live” Reg is now really begging with all my heart.

“Hei! Smell soil! Don't you know that too? According to the rules in force, protecting witches would also be punishable by execution in place” Frederick then turned around.

“Heh. Using your closeness with my father first. Still won't change my intentions”. Frederick closed his eyes, as if he were immersed in a symphony when the voice of divine revelation reached his ears.

The two Blake family bodyguards then thrust their sharp spears into the chest of Old Reg.

Faelan who had been peering behind the door was shocked when two sharp spear eyes pierced through the door, right before his eyes. Fresh blood flowed from the tip of the spear's eyes.

“AYAAAH!!!” faelan shouted from inside the room.

“Aha! There you were, apparently, little mouse” Frederick then swung his sword.

A black energy shot out swiftly towards the door of Faelan's room. All the air and dust that were on that energy path looked like it was slashed apart.

A dying old Reg bounced in with a piece of wood from the door.

Faelan pushed hard. His back is pounding against the wall. With a leaning position, the little Faelan drooped weakly with almost lost consciousness.

Faelan rubbed Reg's chest covered in blood. Faelan looked at her hand which was filled with a deep red color that felt warm and smelled pessimistic.

Faelan's whole body shook violently. He couldn't believe what he saw.

“Quiet, pest! You will also soon follow him” Frederick said with a laugh. He was ready to release magic.

“TIDAAAAAAKKKK!!!”, along with Faelan's frustrated cry, an enormous burst of magic energy blew away Frederick and his bodyguards.

Suddenly a magic pendant on Faelan's chest lit up brightly.

Frederick got up and stared at the locket. He's wide-eyed. As soon as he regained consciousness, he took Roderick and his men out of the orphanage.

Frederick gave orders to dozens of his troops who had been waiting in the courtyard.

The entire army then shot out hundreds of fire arrows.

In an instant, the orphanage burned down. The support pole and the roof began to fall one by one hitting the ground.

“Report this immediately to the central kingdom!” said Frederick to one of his soldiers.

“Wouldn't they not be safe with a fire this big?” roderick.

“Tell the King, ‘hari’ it has arrived. The entire Shadowvale Kingdom alliance should know immediately” Frederick ignored his son.

The soldier placed his left hand on the chest while looking down saluted. He then rode on a horse and immediately darted away.

“Dad?!! They must be dead! What should you bother reporting?!” roderick said with a grouchy face.

PLAKKK!!!

Frederick slapped his son very hard. “Let me teach you an important lesson. A witch would not die that easily. Especially if he is a child who has been predicted. A stupid kid who still can't awaken his magic like you wouldn't understand that. You can only give me trouble, you trash boy!!”

Roderick held his cheek while bowing in tears.

A few moments later..

Frederick stood up. His great sword he plugged in front of the rubble of the orphanage building.

The orphanage was flattened to the ground. Some large pieces of wood still look lit.

The smell of the burning wood and the smell of charred flesh filled the air which was hot and arid.

Frederick gave the order.

Several soldiers flocked into the rubble.

Moments later, the commander came to report. “Sorry sir. We just found the body

Old Man Reg. There are no dead boys” he told Frederick.

“Damn it! Are you sure you've searched for it correctly?” reply Frederick.

“Iya, Sir. We have done five times checking”

“Hahahaha” Frederick suddenly laughs. “Which might as well he could die as easily as it”.

Frederick then told his troops to gather.

“Comb the whole forest! Don't stop until you find the boy!!” roderick's orders to his entire army.

The entire army dispersed and entered the dark forest.

Flames from the flames of dozens of torches were seen illuminating the path leading to the interior of the forest.

“Supervisor! Take this child to his mother” Frederick pointed towards Roderick who was crying. “We're going through a long night. Work properly!!” continued.

Frederick drew his sword, mounted the horse and darted into the forest.
