The Rebirth Of The Strongest Female Emperor
Buoys (2)

Chapter 29: Buoys (2)

Ye Qingtang, who was still shopping at the boutique did not realize it at all, that from the top of that inconspicuous high-level building, a pair of deep eyes were silently watching his every move.

Mu Su stood beside the man, Han Cangming, in a secret note and while observing Ye Qingtang, he became fascinated by the beautiful young lady.

That was the host for the heart of the demon emperor?

Mu Su could not help but recall Han Cangming's question to him, when they left the Ye residence last night.

So, Her Majesty wants a girl like her to get pregnant…. Ehem….

Mu Su stole a glance at Han Cangming, whose eyes were fixed on Ye Qingtang the entire time, not the slightest bit aware of the surging atmosphere of his entourage.

The Treasure Pavilion offered a wide variety of exotic merchandise. Thanks to Ye Qingtang's help to find Bent grass, he got a tempting discount for all of his purchases, which he would obviously make the most of.

The manager, who was assigned by Mu Su, helped Ye Qingtang shop privately. He originally thought he would make full use of this opportunity to buy some famous merchandise and did not expect him to drop by the unguarded counter all of a sudden.

"Is this a buoy?" Ye Qingtang asked as he pointed to the counter featuring some brightly colored pebbles.

The manager nodded as he glanced at the screen.

A buoy was a booty obtained from hunting a fifth level spirit beast that required the collaboration of over a hundred people. The buoy itself however, is considered mediocre.

The buoy has a solid composition, very resistant to any form of physical damage. In lieu of the effort required for their achievement, Buoys are highly valued even though no one feels their practical usefulness. Although it was just a mere decoration, the Buoys were not as beautiful as gemstones, so other than a few nobles who would buy a piece or two to show off their wealth, almost no one was interested in it.

But Ye Qingtang was really interested in those few pieces of the Buoy.

The buoy may not be useful to others but it is definitely not to him. He considered them priceless!

“How many of these floats are available for sale?” Ye Qingtang asked further.

The manager could not understand his enthusiasm for the deadweight Buoys and simply thought of him as a curious person, “About a dozen or so.”

While Ye Qingtang stroked his chin, his eyes twinkled happily, "I bought everything."

“...” The manager's eyes almost popped out of his head at his decision.

All of?

“Nona Ye, only one piece is worth a thousand gold. Are you sure?"

Ye Qingtang nodded in agreement.

“...” The manager was dumbfounded.

While expecting Ye Qingtang to buy something valuable at his discount, who would have thought this young lady would choose instead, to buy a Buoy that was not as significant as a regular pebble!

Furthermore, just a dozen would cost over ten thousand gold!

Paying that price for a pile of stones was a total loss!

The manager was ready to advise him against his hasty decision but the deal was sealed when Ye Qingtang put that amount of gold straight to the counter without a second thought. The manager was completely at a loss for words.

With no choice, he could only steel his heart against his loss as he ordered his assistant to give every piece of Buoy available in the boutique to buy him.

There was a total of seventeen pieces that amounted to a price of thirteen thousand six hundred gold after Ye Qingtang's twenty percent discount. Moreover, the manager gave him his own concessions and in the end only collected thirteen thousand gold from him.

Even with all that, the manager still felt he was deceiving Ye Qingtang from his coffers.

However, the person concerned accepted his new purchase with a smile.

Seriate....
