"Is this a buoy?" Ye Qingtang asked as he pointed to the counter featuring some brightly colored pebbles.

The manager nodded as he glanced at the screen.

A buoy was a booty obtained from hunting a fifth level spirit beast that required the collaboration of over a hundred people. The buoy itself however, is considered mediocre.

The buoy has a solid composition, very resistant to any form of physical damage. In lieu of the effort required for their achievement, Buoys are highly valued even though no one feels their practical usefulness. Although it was just a mere decoration, the Buoys were not as beautiful as gemstones, so other than a few nobles who would buy a piece or two to show off their wealth, almost no one was interested in it.

But Ye Qingtang was really interested in those few pieces of the Buoy.

The buoy may not be useful to others but it is definitely not to him. He considered them priceless!

“How many of these floats are available for sale?” Ye Qingtang asked further.

The manager could not understand his enthusiasm for the deadweight Buoys and simply thought of him as a curious person, “About a dozen or so.”

While Ye Qingtang stroked his chin, his eyes twinkled happily, "I bought everything."

“...” The manager's eyes almost popped out of his head at his decision.

There was a total of seventeen pieces that amounted to a price of thirteen thousand six hundred gold after Ye Qingtang's twenty percent discount. Moreover, the manager gave him his own concessions and in the end only collected thirteen thousand gold from him.

Even with all that, the manager still felt he was deceiving Ye Qingtang from his coffers.

However, the person concerned accepted his new purchase with a smile.
