William believes Chris was deliberately asking Jack to sell both Ferrari cars at low prices. Chris had already clearly signalled him into battle.

Chris' words at the Watson Mansion ring continuously in William's mind at this time.
"Damn it! I will definitely destroy the Christian Company!" william shouted loudly.
"Patience, Will! Now is not the right time" Jonathan said.
"What do you mean?" william asked, looking intently at Jonathan.
William suggests Jonathan must have some information about Chris. William admitted in his heart all this time he had acted rashly and underestimated Chris.
Initially William felt Chris was just a one-child widower and owned a company in Sydney, but it turned out Chris was willing to sacrifice all the results of his hard work in Sydney and move him to Bali for Emma.
