Chapter 19: The Identity of the Victim

Amelia was still pensive to think about Mr. Darsim's words to her. He was trying to digest all these puzzles.

Amelia opened her laptop. He connected WiFi on his phone to connect to the internet.

"Sir Darsim, have you seen the murder victim's face?" asked Amelia. While his hands wait for the internet connection in his laptop.

"I just read the news from the newspaper...They didn't show pictures of the victim's face.and.sorry I don't have a television at home.." said Mr. Darsim flat. Amelia is still focusing on her laptop. He is now looking for a picture of the murder victim. Indeed, there are no clear images/photos that are aired on every news on the internet. The news is confusing too. There are still a few facts written. The news hunters only write the chronology of the discovery of the victim's body.

But several other sources wrote down the background of the victim who was also the owner of the Tiam restaurant. Amelia searched for photos she had previously found on the internet. A photo of a woman in front of a restaurant sign. He believes this may be a photo of the victim. How can he be sure ? Because the hashtag on the google search engine says :#Owner Tiam#.

"Aha.this is it. Mr. Darsim..try you look carefully..is this photo, a photo of the father's wife who became TKW in Hong Kong there?", asked Amelia to him. He put his laptop on the man. Amel began to digest one by one the information he had. If this photo is the same photo as Mr. Darsim's wife, then why is it written she is a childless widow. Does Mr Darsim's wife really intend to cover up her past with Mr Darsim until he fakes all of her identity ? But why does he not admit his son also Ayu ?Or was he forced to do so because he was under the threat of Lee claiming his new husband ?

Amel's fingers are getting curious. He found out online about the real names of the victims. No one has written the real name of the woman who was the victim in the murder. All news sources write with the initials of the victim's first name. The source of the victim's initials is R. While Mr. Darsim mentioned the name of his wife Mursidah. It should have been M. Could Mr. Darsim have mistaken this photo. The woman in this photo only looks similar. Didn't he himself say the shape of the nose and the color of the skin is different ?

Perhaps the murder victim had nothing to do with the disappearance of his wife. Maybe these are two different women. It just so happens that this murder victim is a former TKW in Hong Kong as well. But I don't know why Amel's heart felt so strange...

Could it be, if the woman who was the victim of this murder was the same as the wife of Mr Darsim, actually the caller who contacted Mr Darsim lest he be the perpetrator of this murder ?

Could it be that the caller who asked to meet was the new husband of Mr Darsim's wife who claimed to be named Lee ? If so, then what is the motive of killing his wife and threatening Darsim and Ayu to stay away from his wife and forget her ?
