The Given 54

"Morning" said Given when he saw Kenzo just woke up from his sleep because last night the man was staying at Given's apartment.

"Morning" said Kenzo in a hoarse voice as he leaned against the couch, where he slept last night.

The man's eyes looked towards Given who was in the kitchen.

"What are you doing?" ask Kenzo.

"Make pancakes. You want?" said Given.

"No, I have to get to the company" Kenzo replied and moved out of his chair.

The man walked into the kitchen and came to Given and kissed her lips.

"I go first" said Kenzo.

"Hmm, all the documents are ready on the table," replied Given smiling.

"You are so sweet" said Kenzo.

"I'm pretty tame if you don't nudge me" Given said and made Kenzo smile.

Then the man kissed Given's lips again and frowned for a little while until he finally said goodbye.

"Be careful" said Given.

"Hmm, bye. I'll come back later after I get back from the company" Kenzo replied.

"Yes" said Given smiling.

Kenzo left from there. He also confirmed that Steven wasn't around Given's apartment that morning.

Kenzo even told his men to keep an eye on Given's apartment and it seems Steven hasn't returned home to America because there's no data at the airport for his return today.

Given was home all day and did nothing but watch television.

"I was bored and really bored. This is the highest level of my boredom. I'm going to the supermarket across the street and buy some groceries" muttered Given.

Then Given changed his clothes and then came out of his apartment room. Because it's been a long time not shopping, Given will spend a little time in the supermarket.

Given walked casually and put his hand into his coat because the wind was quite cold.

A few minutes later, Given arrived at the supermarket. Some of Kenzo's men were standing guard in front of the supermarket and Given didn't know about it.

Given chose a lot of goods and food items to buy even though there are some items that are not needed.

Just to get rid of his boredom, Given spent quite a long time in the supermarket.

"Given," called Steven who turned out to be next to Given and that surprised Given.

Given looked towards Steven.

"Sister? You're here?" ask Given.

"I've wanted to see you since yesterday but that guy got in my way" Steven replied.

"Kenzo mean?" ask Given.

"Yes, he even hit me" Steven replied.

"He's just looking after me" said Given.

"What's wrong?" ask Given.

"Can we just talk for a second?" ask Steven.

"Don't I tell you we shouldn't talk or see you again? I respect Lillia's feelings" said Given.

"We're divorced. I mean I've filed for divorce and I'm in court" Steven replied.

"What??" sahut Given.

"I don't love him, Given. You know it. I married her because of a mistake we made that night. I just love you," Steven said.

Given slapped hard on Steven's cheek and looked at him sharply.

"You think I'd salute you after doing that to Lillia? She's a good woman, brother. And you're very lucky to meet him. And that mistake was already a seed in the womb of Lillia who will be your son. You didn't think about that? You're really selfish," angry Given.
