When I fell down and fell down. Suddenly, the most pleasant memories emerged. Maybe in the last moments like this is what makes people will remember their happiest memories. The memories that come to my mind if not wrong happened a few years ago.
Precisely when I was in elementary school and not yet at Full Moon Junior High School. At that time I was going with Agus who was my best friend since childhood because our parents were in close contact with his parents. At that time I went with Agus in a river that flowed near the village.
I intend to go fishing in the river with Agus, which is why I have prepared rattan fishing rod to fish together. It wasn't too far away, so we just had to walk for a while to get there. When we got to the river, we saw other children fishing first in the river.
They are Bagas, Wawan, Anis and Lilis who will be my friends in the future. Agus and I did not know them because they lived in the village next door. They kept watching us as if their faces were telling them not to fish here because this was their territory.
But I don't care and stay hooked and away from them. I took out the fishing line and the bait and we fished together in the river. They continued to pay attention to me and Agus, it made me feel bad and wanted to quickly leave this place if I had only gotten one fish. Then suddenly one of them came to us.
That kid is Bagas, "Hey why are you fishing here?" said the boy with a face that was upset about fishing with them.
"We just want to fish here, does the river here belong to you?" I said with the chief and looked at him sharply so that the boy would be afraid of me.
But instead of being afraid, the boy glared back at me. At that time we were almost going to fight right then and there because we were fighting for a place of power in this river. But fortunately at that time also the commotion was prevented by Agus. Agus immediately broke up with us and gave them a challenge.
"Don't make a fuss...How about we fight it?.." said Agus while smiling arrogantly.
"Compared what? say quickly!" said the boy who looked impatient.
"We're going to compete who will get the most fish between us and the loser has to go from here. The match will be finished until the sun is above the sky" said Agus who challenged him, which means this match will be finished until noon.
Then the boy laughed out loud with his three friends who were fishing. They laughed at us because they thought they would win just because they were twice as many as us. Well, it is very likely that they will win because their numbers are more than ours.
Who knows who will get more fish. Because it's not just about who's fishing more, but who's luckier among the other anglers. Eventually they agreed and we started fishing to see who would win this game.
After all from what I saw when I came here, it seemed like they had not gotten any fish at all because the bucket was empty and just filled with water.
"Good.. are you sure we're gonna win?" I said that I felt we would lose to those who were more than us.
"Just calm down, it looks like we have a chance to win. Look at those who have not got fish since they came before us" said Agus who tried to create a calm atmosphere for me and not to worry about losing.
Unexpectedly, Agus' voice was heard by them, "We heard him know! just watch out for you! we will make you lose a lot because we will get a lot of fish! ahaha!" the boy laughed again with his friends.
Like the boy (Bagas) was the leader of his three friends. They could only laugh at us, it made us very upset to hear them laughing at me and Agus. I'd love to throw these bait worms at the girls. What else is a girl (Anis) whose face looks ugly and annoying.
I'm more and more convinced that they're going to lose because they've laughed at us!. Because I've always heard stories that arrogant people or bad people will lose at the end. Until finally a few hours passed and the match was finished because the sun had been above the sky which signified the day had arrived.
So I covered the bucket with a cloth and brought it to them. Their faces looked smiling and proud, seeing them smiling like that it seemed like they were very confident at getting a lot of fish. We met in the middle while carrying buckets, apparently their buckets were also covered by cloth, it seemed like they intended to bully us.
"Haha! why did you cover the bucket with a cloth? looks like you guys didn't get any fish?" the boy said (Bagas) laughing at us, but his face was full of sweat.
"Hurry to open the cloth? and show your defeat!" said the annoying girl (Anis) whose face looks strange.
"Why did you close the bucket? it should have been more people who opened the bucket first!" I said a protest to them, but actually it's just to divert them so we can stay here longer.
Hearing my words for a moment they fell silent for a moment. Until finally they relented and opened the cloth cover that was their bucket. Their faces panicked when they opened the cloth and there was no fish in their buckets, which meant that they did not get any fish at all like us.
Agus and I stared at them silently and smiled slightly as they held back the laughter from the series.
"You're satisfied! let our friends go and let this place be theirs!" said the boy (Bagas) with annoyance and immediately left us with his friends.
"Hey wait.you guys haven't seen what we got!" agus said, holding back laughter, thinking we were laughing at them.
"Don't get cocky just because you got a fish!" said the boy (Bagas) who looks increasingly upset.
"At least you'll see what we got!" I said, then with a heavy heart they approached us back to see what fish we got. And Agus and I did not get a single fish, which is why we held back laughter.
"Seek it to us!" said the boy (Bagas) who seemed to have patience on a piece of paper, his face looked red with annoyance at seeing us who were holding back laughter.
Yheng! we opened the cloth and showed them that we did not get any fish either. There was only water in our bucket and after that Agus and I laughed out loud.
"You didn't get it either?.." said the boy (Bagas) who looked embarrassed after knowing what happened.
"Really! ahaha! we didn't expect that you didn't get any fish either! ahaha!" my laughter broke out in front of them along with Agus whose laughter was the loudest.
"Be-stop laughing!" said the boy (Bagas) who endured the shame.
But then his friends laughed with us, "Hahahaha! you guys didn't get it either! ahaha!" the laughter of his friends who were laughing out loud with us.
Because the boy named Bagas could not stand all this anymore. Finally he also laughed along with us and after stopping laughing we got acquainted with each other. Since then our friendship began, until attending school in the same Junior High. It was the most pleasant memory for me because it could get more close friends like Agus.
