At night I woke up from my sleep after a tired day of hearing my father's babble. Even though my father kept me from hearing Grandfather's story, I'll do it again. I always felt guilty and apologized to my father inside me.

I went out of the room and went to the kitchen to get a glass of fresh water in the teapot. Glug gluc glug fuahhh, it feels like my throat is relieved again. Then after drinking I immediately went back to the room to continue my sleep. But as soon as I wanted to open my door, I saw the door open wide.

I walked towards the door to cover it, I saw the trees blowing with the strong night wind. I immediately closed the door of his house, but just as I was about to close it, suddenly in front of the road there was a person in black clothes holding a torch stick in his hand.

I was astonished to see that there was a lone person out in the middle of this windstorm while carrying a torch. Though the wind gusts are quite strong, but why the fire is not extinguished. That person continued walking straight and it seemed like he was going to come somewhere. For a moment I thought and fell silent, if that person is planning something evil, it looks like that strange person will burn down one of the houses of the villagers.

Then I went out of the house while following the person from behind silently. He did not feel at all alert and just walked straight like a hypnotized person. I kept following him amidst the strong gusts of windstorms, my feet cold because I was wearing shorts.

The man kept walking and went up the hill, I was more and more astonished and did not know what he was going to do. At first I thought he was going to burn down one of our houses or our gardens and our fields. But it turns out he even climbed the hill that the road leads to my school. Here I thought that if there were two possibilities for what he would do, he might burn down my forest or school.

I continued to follow the person carrying the torch by sneaking among the trees. He kept walking until he finally got in front of my school and went to turn. Then I immediately chased after him to follow him, but suddenly I lost the existence of that person. I panicked and looked around to find the whereabouts of that person.

I was surprised that he was suddenly on the road to the bridge of Satan. Then I chased after him on a brisk walk while staring at that person who was walking among the trees. Again I was surprised that the man disappeared for the second time once I got in front of the bridge of Satan. Instantly I felt goosebumps and my legs trembled in fear.

But again I saw the man, he was on the bridge. I was very surprised that suddenly he was there and at this moment he was silent while holding the torch facing the front. I don't know what he saw until he stopped walking and fell silent like that.

Sreeet suddenly faced me backwards, bowing her head so I couldn't see what that person's face was like. Wushhhh then the torch that he was holding died in the wind and here it became darker because there was no light.

Then the man lifted his head and said, "Look, what are you doing here?" said the man who turned out he was my teacher. Mr. Budi who reportedly disappeared a month ago for crossing this bridge.

But seeing him in good health and well, I feel quite relieved if it turns out that Mr. Budi is still there. I always think that strange with the disappearance of Mr. Budi, whether it is because of being kidnapped by subtle creatures or killed and even crossing this Satanic bridge.

"Thank God you're okay" said I, who was happy to see him. Because he was a good teacher to me, sometimes if Mr. Budi had more money, he always invited me to eat together in the cafeteria. He is the teacher who is closest to me than any other teacher. But my question is...why did Mr. Budi do this? why was he suddenly hiding from the villagers?.

"Father is not okay, son." said Mr. Budi who suddenly pale face and full of cold sweat.

I was surprised to see him, "W-what's wrong sir!? father why?" my astonished words saw the expression on his face that looked like a frightened person.

"Fajar quickly run away from here! Dawn!" Shouted Mr. Budi to me.

Then suddenly there was a black figure whose entire body was long. More precisely the figure was twice the height of Pak Budi who was the tallest person living in the village. That figure I did not see it clearly because there was fog, but surely he was walking towards Pak Budi quickly.

I was really panicked and scared by that figure until Mr. Budi's voice sounded faintly in my ear because my whole body was shaking with goosebumps. The figure finally stopped and exactly stood behind Mr. Budi. I glared in surprise and fell down in shock to see a very creepy figure.

"KURANAAAAAAARRRR!" said Mr. Budi who finally the creature was mangap and ate half the body of Mr. Budi.

"YAHOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" I shouted very loudly.

But!? what the fuck? why am I in my bed now? and was in my room?. I was completely confused and my heartbeat was pounding so fast, I still felt fear and also my hair to my feet. My body was also full of sweat, my breathing was wheezing with overwhelming fear.

But then I realized it was a nightmare. The nightmare I felt was so real that my whole body was still trembling in fear. Then suddenly I felt thirsty and my throat became dry.

I immediately thought back to where the dream had started. The dream started when I woke up from my sleep and went to the kitchen to grab a drink from feeling unusually thirsty. As well as how I feel right now, my throat is completely dry and I need a drink as soon as possible.

I saw the wall clock in my room showing at 12 p.m. Even though I was scared and my legs were trembling, I kept getting out of my bed to get a glass of water in the kitchen. I slowly opened the door and looked to the side, whether the door was closed or not, but thank God the door was closed.

So I could feel relieved and immediately went to the kitchen to fetch a glass of water. I drank two glasses of water to the end because of thirst. Then I walked back to my room and at that moment I saw the door of my house open wide and the night breeze made my door wobble.

I.. I was afraid, but I knew I had to close my door. Finally I decided to close the door of my house first and then immediately go back into my room. Krieet I walked slowly on the wooden floor of my house that was fragile and weathered.

I looked out of the house as soon as I got to my doorstep. I was shocked to see a torch across the street and I quickly closed my door. My breath became claustrophobic again and my heart was pounding more and more.

"Build..."

"YAHOOOOOO!!!!" my startled cry because someone called my name because it reminded me of Mr. Budi who called my name in my dream.

But as soon as I faced back it was just my mom and she was surprised to see me screaming in fear. It was a moment of relief that I dropped myself to the floor knowing it was my mother.

"Borch! don't surprise me!... haaahhh... Why haven't you slept?" my mother said angry with me.

"Sorry ma'am, it was dawn when I suddenly woke up from a nightmare" I said, bowing my head before my mother if I felt guilty.

"Hmm, yasudah it's okay.it's worth you to hear Fajr yelling. It turns out that because of a nightmare anyway, then quickly go back to your room and quickly go back to sleep" said my mother who went to the door.

"Yes ma'am, but.. What do you want?" I said that I felt uneasy because my mother was standing at the door of the house.

"Mom just wants to block the door of his house with a broom handle. You see, the door was open because it was blown by the wind. Well, besides, the door of his house is old, so it should be easy to get pushed by the wind" said my mother while propping up the doorknob with a broom handle.

I returned relieved and stroked my chest while entering my room to immediately go back to sleep. Because tomorrow I have to go back to school and I can't wait to play ball again with my friends during the break. But... about the nightmare that just happened? did I tell my friends?.
