2.4 "Bandit Hunters"

"Everything!! Form a defensive formation as usual! Hold the escaped bandits! Focus on them! The rest leave it to our alliance!!" The Duma shouted to his men, the thirty soldiers instantly prepared as the Duma ordered.

At first they were not convinced because of the strong suspicion of the bandits going down the mountain and making a total attack. But seeing Shiki and his three heroin at the forefront of Bari City made them understand why the Duma asked for it.

"Reina, you're with Yui... Alicia, you're with the Duma. While I'll handle them up front." Shiki told the three heroin.

Alicia astonished and retorted. "Aren't you being too careless? They can be up to 100 people, you know!"

"I know." Shiki nodded. "I'm not afraid, no matter how strong they are, their status as "bandits" will not disappear."

Alicia was astonished to hear that. "You really underestimated them!"

"Hehe!" Yui laughed, her brother is indeed like that; "Leave it alone!"

Shiki goes straight from there, and Duma understands Shiki's experience as a "Bandit Hunter" making him so confident.

"Alicia-sama, our total force has not decreased since a month ago, there are 30 people. We have 7 element magic users and the rest will fight with ordinary weapons." The Duma reports to Alicia.

"He's alone?! Who would dare to do that?! What's Duma...?!" ask Rocky not to believe it.

"I'm sure it wasn't him, and from his face, he was sure that the man who had single-handedly ambushed us was "Shiki the Strongest Adventurer!" which the bandits dub as the Bandit Hunters..bos!"

"The bandit hunter is yes...!" Rocky is quite daunted by the nickname Shiki known to bandits as the "Bandit Hunters" because his reputation kills bandits in the south.

"Heheh! He's here! Then it's time for me to prove myself!" Ottmar gnawed.

Simultaneously Shiki his eyes became a rainbow, using his magic eyes and finishing off every bandit that came. The superhuman movement of his superhuman body made the bandits only able to accept the fate of being defeated if faced with it.

The bandits did not believe, not until five minutes, Shiki had already finished off more than half of their number from the middle.

The Duma and the others heard the sound of footsteps running over. Although Shiki held them in front, of course with the superiority of the number of bandits, they were able to reach the city of Gari.

That was how Duma believed, he had also prepared with the arrival of bandits. Alicia's plan of staying was done as soon as they arrived.

"They come, do it!" Shouting Duma.

"All right!" Alicia raised her yellow magic wand.

A large earth wall was made to form to deter the incoming bandits. Earth magic is the hardest basic magic, then earth wall magic is the earliest magic that can be learned from earth elements.

Alicia used earth magic as the fifth magic, as it did require more concentration and duration using somewhat longer magical energy.

Swinging her magic wand again, Alicia now flew the sorcerers over the wall with wind at their feet.

The 7 sorcerers above saw the flustered bandits below, instantly shooting at them with wind and fire magic that defeated them in large numbers.

"TOWAH! They're trapping us!" The bandits shouted in pain. "Damn it...! Save us, boss!!"

"Hehe, strategy is clear! That Alicia is impressive!" Yui was amazed, she went to Reina after that; "Then what can you do, Reina?"

"I don't know. I think Alicia-san has already taken the stage, so there is no need to do anything else." Reina replied.

"You're that type, huh." Yui was astonished to hear that.

"Reina-sama, you can somewhat retreat to the city and anticipate the bandits who escaped." The Duma said, she also told Yui; "Miss Yui too, I leave the right side to you."

Reina and Yui nodded in understanding. "OK!"

Yui to the right quickly, the earthen wall did not get there and the bandits started to appear as well. Yui helps the soldiers, easily and mercilessly winning the fight with the bandits.

But to Yui's surprise, she saw three ferocious wolves appear on the top by the bandits.

"Wolf! They're riding this thing?!" Yui shocked.

"Guil..." Shiki sighed, and the bandits could not believe that almost all of the bandits who faced Shiki had been defeated so easily; "Everything lay...! This guy really is a Bandit Hunter!"

"Shiki the fucking Bandit Hunter!" Shouts of a bandit appear; "Our boss, Rocky the Strongest Bandit challenges you! Now he is ahead and will soon conquer the city of Gari! Come there when the city is over!"

"Huh...? Well... Ahhaha..." Shiki felt funny hearing that, and smiled. "The Strongest Bandit..Hopefully your boss doesn't let me down, ok?"

At Yui and Reina's place.

"We are the Rider Bandits!! You can't possibly win against us, little girl!" The bandits were three people, riding on a ferocious wolf that was definitely not an ordinary wolf.

"Hmph! The styles!" Yui took out a katana, a shiny red sharp blade, a blue sword hilt. CRATZ! Darting and slashing the three "Bandit Riders" together until they lost and left the three ferocious wolves alone.

"Now you can get out of here, the wolves huh!"

"Revelation, Yui-san!" Reina warned,

The three ferocious wolves instantly moved in on Yui, they jumped darting away with surprise attacks and Yui was almost hit if only she did not jump up.

(They're fast!) yui was quite surprised. "It's the first time I've faced a wolf that fast!"

"They're not ordinary wolves, they're Warg! This kind of ferocious wolf monster with a body filled with magical curse energy!" Reina explained that to Yui.

"Wargs? Wait.your knowledge is pretty good about the Monsters!" Yui was startled as well, and she realized the three Wargs were attacking again;

"Well, I don't care anyway! As long as I'm stronger than them, I won't die!"

Yui swung her red katana from above, the three Warg dodged even though one was hit until it bled.

"So apparently, you are no ordinary wolf! Even a single swing Muramasa can't kill you!" yui was getting excited.

Yui holds the red katana "Muramasa" and drains magical energy into the sword, then transforms it to sharpen the sword that Yui uses.

"Hazing!"

The Wargs get more savage as Yui's magical energy is channeled into his sword. Yui slashed at one, until the blood came out a lot, then she Warg jumped darting, Yui spun and gave a sharp slash until their purple blood came out a lot;

"Kaiten Sakura!"

"WOW?!"

The bandits did not believe it and Reina's face was also amazed there. "She's strong.that girl! Who is he really?!"

Yui replied while putting her sword into the sheath. "I am the younger sister of Shiki the Strongest Adventurer! I am Yui from the Haruna clan!"

"Klan Haruna?!!" They were shocked to hear the name of the Haruna clan.

"Yes, you better leave or I'll make you prey!!" Yui's shout scared them away, the bandits panicked and ran away from there; "Scary!"

"Boss them here"

DHUARS! The walls of their land were destroyed by Rocky who came to the front of the city of Gari.

Alicia who was with the Duma there was shocked. The confident-faced man, whose features were quite muscular, climbed up the monstrous black wolf beast.

Duma was shocked, this was the first time he had met her; "She is definitely Rocky!"

Rocky grinned, looking at the Duma who just called him. "And you're the eleventh-seat Star Knight, Duma! This is the first time we've met, right?"

The Duma is shocked by the wolf that Rocky is riding. "What is a wolf really?! She has some unpleasant magical energy and where did you get it?!"

"He's my pet. Name's Warg! The monster from the Abyss that Master gave me!" Rocky replied with a grin, making those shocked who heard it, including Alicia; "Monster from the Abyss?!"

"Where did you get something like that?! Who's the master you said that to?" As Alicia asks, she remembers Mira and Kira also mentioning the name "Master" on Star Island.

Alicia was sure they were the same person, and if Alicia managed to get the answer...

Rocky came down from Warg, found out about Alicia. "Your beautiful face and your bravery, I'm pretty sure you're the Genius Princess of the Romanova family."

"Pursue him...! Bring before me! Let me make my woman!" Rocky orders one Warg move in pursuit of Alicia.

"Alicia-sama!" The Duma wants to protect Alicia, but Alicia asks the Duma to go after Rocky; "Just chase after the Bandit boss! Hand the Warg over to me!"

The Duma nodded in understanding, then left according to Alicia's plan.

Alicia confronts Warg, she uses earth magic from below to stop the wolf's movement. Lifting one of his magic wand, creating a magic ball of fire, wind and lightning simultaneously and throwing it into one Warg there.

One impressive powerful magic attack was unleashed, and Alicia defeated one Warg with ease. Then the Duma and Rocky had already started their clash;

"TRANS!" Duma and Roxky clashed, a large sword and an axe. Then the Duma felt the magical energy of the curse hit on him and made his body go limp; (What the fuck.!).

The Duma immediately retreated, and Roxky swung his battle axe in a row at the Duma, taking great advantage of it when the Duma was suddenly overwhelmed.

(I don't understand, what is a war axe?! There's a weird effect that makes me limp!) thought the Duma before him was thrown and the soldiers panicked, "captain Duma!"

"This man is amazing..It even makes a Star Knight weak? What a weird trick!" ottmar. 

The Duma woke up, and was upset as well. The duma darted out Rocky, but was fended off by the bandit boss with his axe. The duma swung to the side, he understood the trick to stopping the axe effect, which was not touching for too long.

But... Rocky is stronger and faster, the Duma is overwhelmed; (Damn it. This is embarrassing!).

"Yahaha!!" Rocky knocks an axe at the Duma who fends it off until his sword is destroyed and the Duma is thrown tight.

"Hehehe!" Rocky laughed triumphantly. "I can defeat one of the Star Knights! I am the strongest bandit-!!"

"Huh?!" And Rocky realizes someone is coming behind him at high speed. DUAGH; Shiki appears kicking Rocky in the face, until thrown.

Duma's shocked, "Shiki!"

Rocky wiped his blood, spit. She grinned, knew Shiki's face and was excited when she saw it coming; "So you finally came... Strongest Adventurer!"

Just a moment ago, after the bandits had run away to see how powerful Shiki was, three Wargs arrived before Shiki.

(They are not ordinary wolves.) Shiki thought, before he dashed to slash at Warg, but he could not penetrate them.

"High Seizing!" Shiki sharpens both of his black blades with magical energy, just like Yui did and then defeats the three Warg in just a few seconds.

Back to now, Shiki kicked Rocky in the face. The Duma is approached by the soldiers and Alicia sees silently, of course Shiki will come to chase after the bandit boss.

The big man grinned excitedly, and said. "So you're the one, Shiki the famous Strongest Adventurer!"

"I'm grateful to you for calling me that. Although I feel like usually the bandits will call me the Bandit Hunter rather than the Strongest Adventurer." Shiki said with a smile.

"If I call you that, it won't even be considered equal! Because my nickname now is "The Strongest Bandit" which means one class with you as "The Strongest Adventurer!" Rocky explains why he calls Shiki "An Adventurer" instead of "Hunter"

Shiki felt funny until she looked astonished. "Oh..."

Rocky turns his axe, preparing to challenge Shiki. "I'm confident to win against you! Your defeat is the beginning of my success!"

Shiki sees Rocky coming, slamming fiercely into the ground until it cracks and Shiki manages to dodge upwards from the attack.

(He's the type that I can easily defeat, but the axe is.) Shiki thought frowned.

"Shiki, careful. If you or your weapon come into contact with the axe, you'll feel weak." Duma said he was the victim.

"Being limp, huh. There is an effect like that." said Shiki slowly. "I think I understand why you can't match her."

"My axe effect is inevitable!" Rocky swings his axe at Shiki, who is able to dodge easily. "It will only make you avoid!"

Shiki smiled hearing that, the two black blades prepared. "You're more confident than I thought you were?"

Shiki and Rocky's fight continues, Reina comes with Yui. Shiki, who initially only avoids, now he retaliates Rocky's attack to cause fierce clashes until they touch their weapons.

"Damn!" Rocky starts to panic and Shiki just smiles confidently high.

"Truly impressive confidence. I know the opponent is just a bandit, but it's still impressive!" alicia was amazed.

"You're right, even against Leonard first, Shiki is like this too. He was the type of fighter who was calm and confident with his own fighting abilities." Duma.

"Clearned as "The Strongest Adventurer", "Undefeated in close combat", of course thanks to how powerful he is at the moment..."

The Duma did acknowledge Shiki after what happened in the 2 Star Tournament last year. Shiki was supposed to join the "Star Knight Order", but Shiki did not want to because he was an Adventurer.

"Hehe! That's what my brother is like! He is strong, invincible! Dad trained him well before he left first..." Yui said that; "But there is one power that is indeed an "excuse" of how powerful Shiki the Strongest Adventurer is right now."

"That's right, Jenius' daughter. That was the reason why Aniki was so strong, because of those eyes." Yui replied, they all listened in surprise as Shiki dominated Rocky in their fight.

Shiki retorted by frowning her forehead. "You talk a lot and are overconfident, it makes you sick... But I want the Duma to finish you off."

"What?" Shock duma.

"It's an honor, if you don't finish him off, then the Parliamentarian will think you're weird" Shiki replied with a smile. Give Rocky a logical reason.

"I think it's true..." The Duma agreed; "But it's surprising that you think that far for me, Shiki."

The Duma took his sword and was ready to put an end to the Ottmar before him. Rocky was upset; "You guys really underestimated me!! I am the strongest bandit! I-"

CRATZ! Duma darted slashing at Rocky until he fell unconscious.

"Congratulations, Duma. With this nickname the Bandit Hunter is entitled to in your hands." Shiki gave the nickname to the Duma by shaking hands.

The Duma is upset and feels that it has been framed by Shiki. "So this is what you planned!!"
