3.5 "Vs. The Monsters"

The battle of Shiki, Dion and Yui against the three powerful Monsters called Mira begins.

At Dion's place, he attacked Thunder Warg. A wolf monster shrouded in lightning all over its body. Dion's attack was lightning and certainly not as powerful as the wolves, Thunder Warg pounced on Dion and managed to dodge.

"God!" Dion was still grinning even though his enemy was impossible for him.

Shiki fights the Lava Golem; shiki concentrates fully on the highest sharpening. Sharpening is a unique magic, because most who use it are fighters who are not mages.

Magical energy is not processed into a magic, but remains a magical energy that provides Sharpening or Defense to the weapons used. This is a complicated technique because it requires full concentration and also a strong fighting desire.

That was why the Haruna clan, known as the barbarian fighting clan, was able to use the Sharpening or Defense as their fighting force.

This technique is also a strength for Shiki and is always optimistic to beat anyone. Now, Shiki slashed the Lava Golem with the Highest Sharpening, but his body only scratched a large part of his stomach and the dripping Lava made the severed part return to normal.

"What?! He's regenerating!" Shiki was shocked that the creature had even regenerated. And the Lava Golem kept on going without fighting Shiki.

(This monster.) Shiki thought that the Lava Golem had been set to walk straight towards Guildtown.

Coupled with him regenerating, and the rigors of his body, although no louder than the ordinary Golems he fought on Star Island, the Lava Golem was more troublesome.

(It seems so, all kinds of Golems should indeed be destroyed with one big strike.!) shiki thought seriously.

"And damn it I don't have such an attack right now...huh?"

"GODDY!" Yui's voice is thrown and Shiki sees that, where her younger sister is thrown due to the attack of the monster she fought, Minotaurus.

"Yui!" Shiki was worried. 

(And the bull monster is the most powerful of the three!) shiki thought, sure about that.

Shiki saw Alicia running from the direction of the city, and she nodded to Alicia who realized that. Alicia understood what Shiki meant as soon as she saw Yui being thrown and tried to get up.

"...'I leave this monster to you, my strong sister is in danger." The blonde haired girl sighed, and nodded in understanding.

Shiki attacked Minotaurus and was held with his axe, knowing that if he fought a clash like this, he would lose strongly. Shiki retreated directly to Yui's place, and her brown-haired sister called out happily; "Aniki!"

"Let's fight together, that monster is much stronger than expected, right?" tanya Shiki woke up her little sister

"true." Yui wakes up, she continues to hold Shiki's hand. "This will be our first fight as a (prospective) married couple!" Shiki was astonished to hear that.

Alicia goes down, she wants to defeat the Monster that Shiki asked (from afar) for her to defeat. The battle situation that was still far from winning, by defeating Kira and Mira, then the victory would be achieved by the Adventurer Guild.

"He's the same monster as in Star Island; the Golem... But it seems much different because the element is fire or lava, he must be a Lava Golem" said Alicia saw the Lava Golem continue to walk forward.

With her magic wand, Alicia prepared, the Lava Golem is her opponent. Alicia closed her eyes full of concentration, magical energy with high quality accompanying her now;

"This is the ultimate magic I've learned for 6 years." Alicia formed five balls of elements from each element that she could use.

"Fire, Water, Earth, Wind and Lightning..." All of the five element balls were spinning from his magic wand, and the Lava Golem was getting closer and closer.

Alicia needed to take long preparations for this ultimate magic to inflict significant damage. If miss, then this magic will destroy her magic wand.

Simultaneously, Shiki and Yui are ready to fight the Minotaurus again. From what he saw, this Minotaurus had a large skin thickness and made it difficult to be injured with sharp weapons.

"The skin is thick, and enemies with such force are more troublesome than enemies who have hard skin" Shiki said.

"Any agreement, aniki. Yet I already know where we can slash it." Yui replied, and she told the weak spot of the Minotaurus; "that's on her neck. If we cut him there, we can beat him."

"Neck... Huh. Let's do it; use the Highest Sharpening." Shiki told him and his two black blades were sharpened with magical energy now.

Yui did too. "Highest Time!"

"3$...3!..." The Minotaurus spoke and left the two brothers shocked; "Huh?!"

The minotaurus ran towards them, Shiki and Yui were instantly on guard. Shiki uses both of his magic eyes, there are many Shiki attacks that hit and are repelled, and the most certain is the possibility of Shiki dodging Minotaurus attacks from under his feet.

"All the opportunities I've seen are so good, but the most obvious is to dodge them under his feet..." Shiki tells Yui that it was an idea to fight the Minotaurus.

"That sounds kind of reckless, but if you look at it with those magic eyes, then that's for sure, right?" Yui smile.

Shiki nodded, Minotaurus got closer and Yui jumped back. Shiki slumps down Minotaurus and the creature does not hit Shiki as he hits hard with his axe.

Shiki jumped up, Yui approached. Katana and the two black blades were eyeing the neck of the Minotaurus. But the bull monster with the axe twisted its axe, and the two brothers accelerated in the air and then...

"Because!" Shiki and Yui give a simultaneous attack on Minotaurus' neck that cuts off his head until it is removed.

"Win!" Yui was delighted, and Minotaurus slowly turned to ashes, but Shiki's expression was still doubtful of their victory.

(The magical energy has not gone away.) Shiki thought.

A few seconds later, Minotaurus is again the same creature that was defeated by Shiki and Yui.

Shiki and Yui are shocked. (He's not dead!)

Then Minotaurus became his red eyes, he was getting more savage judging from his angry expression and saw Shiki and Yui who had killed him once.

"WOH!!!!!" Minotaurus yelling.

"Kehkehkeh! as expected of one of the most formidable Monsters in the Abyss!" Dr. Goblin survives, she sees Shiki and Yui fight against Minotaurus; she sees Shiki fight;

"You will continue to fight as long as you have magical energy and the will to fight! It gives you strength even if you've been seriously injured!"

"But the Guts of the Minotaurus are cursed magic. He had already died once, yet instantly returned and became stronger. Magic like this exists in some powerful Monsters from the Abyss other than Minotaurus." Dr. The goblins explained confidently.

"I wonder what you're going to do next, Shiki! I'm sure you're as stubborn as your father, kehkehkeh!" The goblin laughs and he gets to know who Shiki's real father is.

Dr. The goblin is then contacted by someone via Call Chip. "(Greetings, Dr. Goblins. You still in Guildtown right now?)"

"What do you want fucking?" ask Dr. Goblin pissed.

"Don't be so rude to me, Goblin. I'm just here to deliver a message from Master.)" replied a long-haired man somewhere;

"(I'm in lab no 13 right now, I want to hear your plan that you once said" The man told Dr. Goblins.

"Hmph, okay! What about that girl named Anna? I plan to bring him before the Master."

"(Leave it to "that guy", after all the Adventurer Guild is "his territory" and he knows the woman named Anna well.)"

"Hmph, I think you're right. I'll be back then." Dr. The Goblin ended her communication, then looked towards Kira and Mira at the front line;

"I'll pick you up later, Kira.. Miras... You want to live or die! The kehkehkeh!" Dr. The goblin laughed saying that before he left.

Dion vs Raiun Warg; the Thunder Warg Wolf shot lightning at Dion from his mouth, and was met with lightning from his spear.

"Curtain!" Dion was annoyed, and Thunder Warg fired another bolt of lightning from the body that made Dion have to dodge agilely to dodge.

"Our drivers are balanced, I'm optimistic!" Dion's spirit, he then recalled a flashback with Vira two years ago.

...

Vira looked at him in the treatment room. Dion was severely wounded and defeated by someone. "Shiki won the semifinals and will face the man who beat you earlier, "Star Knight" Leonard in the final."

"Tell Shiki to get my revenge" Dion said.

"Hmm, hmm, you're not dead, so I'm not sure Shiki would do it." Vira chuckles tell me that.

"Hey, Vira... What is my difference with Shiki?" ask Dion curious. "Shiki likes to fight, I like to fight too. But I feel that Shiki is stronger than me, even he got to the finals now...!"

Vira was surprised to hear that. "This is the first time I've heard you're seriously envious of someone. I think it's a feeling you're feeling."

"Differences, huh..." Vira closed her eyes; "I feel you have more in common than differences."

"But if it's the difference about fighting, as a mage, I can see it. Shiki had special eyes, and his body was used to the power of his eyes, so he was able to synchronize well, then become an invincible fighter in close quarters."

"Together, you and Shiki have equal fighting abilities, I think. But Shiki is better at defending, while you're so sloppy."

Vira explained all of that to Dion, the yellow-haired youth understood; "that's how we differ."

"Yup." Vira nodded. "However, it's up to you to be an expert in defense as well, even as a mage, I know lightning doesn't have the magic to survive."

"I know, hehe." Dion knows. "Defense doesn't suit me, does it? So I will still fight the same way!"

"That's great." Vira understands. "But don't be so careless if you don't want to die."

"Don't worry, I don't want to die as long as I don't get tired of you, Vira...!" Vira chuckles at that.

Now, Dion vs. Monster Raiun Warg.

"I'm sorry to you if today I'm going to be so careless" Dion said with Thunder Warg shooting lightning over and over again.

Dion was hit several times even though he was evasive and still strong. Dion was excited and said; "But don't worry, I don't intend to die here!"

Dion who was struck by lightning came back again, he stood up excitedly. Dion with his usual spear prepared, he had his own plan to defeat Thunder Warg. Although it was extremely careless, he had no intention of dying.

"Let's get started!" Dion dashed towards Thunder Warg who directly pounced on him from the front.

With speed, Dion dodged to the side and the lightning wolf shot at Dion with lightning striking back and forth before finally heading towards him.

Dion broke through all that lightning with a human body. Something that ordinary humans could not do, yet Dion was not that category; with his body already accustomed to lightning for so many years, he continued to break through that lightning despite all his body being injured.

Thunder Warg pounced on Dion, and the yellow-haired youth leaped in a few seconds, then was on his back before resting on the lightning-feathered body.

"BECAUSE!" Dion pierced the back of the feathered lightning bolt from the wolf, spitting out blood and Thunder Warg unleashed all of his lightning on Dion who was above him.

"GAAAKH! Sick, shit...!" curse Dion in pain from the lightning, yet he has no intention of dying here!

"Yet...!" Dion pierced the Thunder Warg getting stronger. "My body is cursed! Lightning is my food! And it makes me stronger!"

"Thunder Spear!!!" The lightning pierced Warg even more powerfully, all the lightning Warg had was taken by Dion to create a piercing and extremely powerful lightning.

Thunder Warg instantly pierced that powerful lightning until it broke through in a few seconds. It then lost and disappeared into a wisp of magical energy that blew through the wind.

Vira saw the lightning from the direction of the outer city, he wanted to approach Chairman Silva, but a smile saw the lightning and felt the magical energy of the lightning from his partner.

"Good, Dion." Vira praised him, he knew what Dion's strange body was like.

That was the reason Vira approached Dion who was a dozen years old; vira (39 years old) and Dion (20 years old).

(If your body gets stronger, then you will be more useful. I can't wait to use you as revenge for the destruction of the Magic Academy.!) thought Vira had a personal goal to "approach" Dion.
