Missing In The Heart

Missing In The Heart
Chapters 90. Bad news.

Rachel stepped to the door. He took a deep breath many times before opening the door in front of him. However, his hand suddenly came to a halt in the air as it was about to open the door before him. The voice of the conversation of the two people inside there made him goosebumps to enter.

From the male voice Rachel could recognize him as Mahavir and the female voice was a little familiar in her ears. Out of curiosity Rachel approached and slightly peeked through the gap of the door. Her pupils widened perfectly once she saw her husband cuddling with a beautiful, scantily dressed woman she knew as Hannah Barbara. Rachel peeked in place and tried to listen to their conversation.

"....I want to give up with everything, if only I don't remember my son who is currently in the womb. At least right now I can hold on to that hope."

"How about your 'Love..?"

Mahavir sounded a small laugh. "I'm sick of it, I'm tired, I hate it, I want to let it go, I want to go all the way away from it, I want to bury this love. I don't want to know her anymore. I shouldn't have married her. I shouldn't have been chasing after him like a doormat. I should have married you when we were betrothed. Maybe if I married you I wouldn't be like this. Should've....."

Rachel's two eyes warmed up. His breath was hunting. He patted his chest softly because of the tightness that suddenly afflicted him. His intention was not to see and hear Mahavir's words just now. His feet reflexively stepped back slowly. He opened his necklace and threw it away, then turned around and ran with his cry to the elevator which immediately brought him down to the ground floor.

As soon as the elevator door opened, Rachel immediately rushed out by running without paying attention to the surroundings. Until accidentally hit a bellboy who was pushing a trolley luggage carrying a hotel guest suitcase.

Rachel fell backwards and was violently knocked down on the marble floor.

"Sorry madam, I didn't see you.." The bellboy apologizes and immediately helps Rachel to stand up. But when Rachel tried to get up, she suddenly felt a very strong pain in her lower abdominal area.

"The madam? Are you okay?"

Rachel felt something wet and warm flowing through her thighs. His reflexes dropped downward and made his heart seem to stop beating seeing fresh blood flowing down his legs.

Rachel's countenance paled, her hands cold and wet, her body shaking violently with a blurry look. People started coming around him and trying to help him. From between the bodies of the men, he still had time to see from a distance Mahavir who walked hastily out of the hotel with Hannah and was followed by Stuart behind them.

"Vir....... Our child..our child Vir......" He looked at Mahavir's back, which was disappearing from his sight, before his consciousness finally disappeared and fell unconscious in the embrace of the bellboy who helped him stand up.

A few hours earlier...

Hannah, who had just left the Alister hotel restaurant, runs into Stuart in front of the elevator.

"Mr.Stuart, we happened to meet. How was my contract then?"

"Everything's been done since that time, Miss Hannah. It's just you never come here again."

"Ah, since the Runway ended I've been straight to Milan."

"You want to sign it now?"

"May, if it's not a hassle and you're not busy of course."

Stuart smiled faintly and looked down respectfully. "I happen to be going to the workspace to do something. You can come if you want." Stuart immediately stepped foot into the elevator that was open in front of him.

"By pleasure..." Hannah follows Stuart into the elevator.

"How is your Young Master?"

Stuart sighed. "So bad's..."

Hanna frowning. "He's sick?"

Stuart shook his head and nodded. "He's healthy. But it's the sick part here." Pointing to his chest, right in his heart. Stuart again let out a heavy sigh. "He's been staying at this hotel this week."

"What is she and Rachel...?"

Stuart just shrugged both of his shoulders in response. Not commenting further.

The two were silent until the elevator doors opened and Stuart stepped out.

"Miss Hannah?" Reprimanded because Hannah was still stunned in place.

"Ah, next time. I want to meet your Young Master first." Hannah immediately pressed the top floor button where Mahavir's room was before Stuart could speak to her.

Hannah sped up her steps towards Mahavir's room and just walked in after greeting the two receptionists standing guard. He was surprised to see the appearance of a man who had always looked neat and taut to him now even looks chaotic and sad. Lying on the sofa with a blank look towards the window of his room.

"Bk,ck,...Young Master this one..." Stimulate it while waltzing in just like that.

"Jeez, you surprised me. Don't know knock on the door?" Mahavir raised his body from a lying position to sit.

"Sorry, my smooth hand is too precious to knock on that hard door."

Mahavir ignored him, he preferred to look back out from behind the window.

Hanna shook her head and clucked and sat on the same long sofa as Mahavir.

"What are you doing here? I heard from my uncle that Rachel was pregnant. Shouldn't you be indulging your dear wife at home right now?"

Mahavir glanced briefly at Hannah, smiled bitterly and looked back at the frenetic city of London that was far below. "Get out there, I'm not in the mood to respond to your babbling." His words were slow and powerless.

"Why again? I just saw this time not excited like that. Fighting with your wife?"

"That means my dad didn't tell you everything...?"

"You think uncle's the one who can indulge his son's problems? Gosh, how long are you guys gonna be like this? Not tired, huh?"

Mahavir breathed a heavy sigh. "Tired, very tired..." Her speech.

"What's the problem so heavy?" Ask who was immediately replied by a nod by Mahavir.

"When she was pregnant?" The question again was answered with a nod by Mahavir, even the man now looks teary.

"Yes, Pardon... What's the problem?" Hanna approached and rubbed Mahavir's back.

Mahavir pinched the base of his nose, trying to hold back his tears. "He knows who I really am."

"He ended up hating me and becoming colder than before. There is absolutely no love left for me. Even he made himself look pathetic with me. I failed, I failed to make him love me..." The flow that has now been followed is stuck.

"God...." Hanna reflexively hugs Mahavir to win him over. "Patience, maybe he just needs time to adjust everything."

"I've been impatient especially all this time? I wanted to give up on everything, if only I didn't remember my son who was in the womb. At least right now I can hold on to that hope."

"How about your 'Love..?"

Mahavir chuckled, "I'm fed up, I'm tired, I hate him, I want to let go, I want to go all the way away from him, I want to bury this love. I don't want to know her anymore. I shouldn't have married her. I shouldn't have been chasing after him like a doormat. I should have married you when we were betrothed. Maybe if I married you I wouldn't be like this. Should've....." His words stopped, his throat was already choked as a result of holding back the overflow of his cries. Tight, so tight that he felt. The frustrating words he said just now actually made him look even more miserable.

Hannah tightened her embrace on Mahavir. He knew very well that the words of his friend were not real, it was just an overflow of emotions. He knew very well how the man felt. Until death this man in his arms will not be able to hate the woman. In her eyes was only one woman. A haughty woman named Rachel.

"I've resigned and I don't want to expect much more. Sometimes I wish I could hate it even a little, at least my heart is not this good. I myself do not understand why my heart can be so infatuated with such a selfish and haughty woman. The more I looked for the answer, the more I got lost and circled around in the same place. Just him, he's the only one who's always been on my mind."

"Well, that's love." Hanna let go of his embrace and pushed slowly on Mahavir's body. "Already, stop melow like this. Be a strong man. Where is the passionate and unyielding Mahavir?"

Mahavir rubbed his face and reviewed his smile. "Thanks Han..."

"I don't need to thank you, I just need my Honor raised." His words followed the ruckus. Mahavir also chuckled slowly.

"So, you're seriously sorry you didn't marry me?" Ask in a mocking tone.

"I'm sorry to know you're a double eye."

"Ck, you're the only man who dares to reject me resolutely." Hanna sneered and rolled her eyeballs off guard.

"Here, go home."

"Vir, that woman always wants to be understood. Another on his lips, but another on his. If he says he hates you, he loves you so much. If he tells you to leave, never leave him. If he says whatever, then you're dead." He said and stood up.

"But that doesn't mean anything to Rachel."

"It's deep in his heart like that. Try to understand more deeply. Go home, he'll need you right now. " Say Hanna with one wink in her eye. "I'll go home first." Continue by grinning and moving out. But when in front of the door his step stopped because he stepped on something. Hanna bowed and picked up the glittering thing.

"Vir, who's this? Looks like it's an expensive item and not just anyone can have it." Hanna said by stepping back into Mahavir's room.

Mahavir raised both his eyebrows. "What stuff?"

"More..." Hanna throws the necklace into Mahavir's lap.

Mahavir who had just caught a glimpse of the necklace instantly recognized him. "Where did you find it?" Rise up and immediately run outside his room by circulating his gaze.

"What's wrong? Whose? Don't tell me it belongs to your wife?" Hanna followed behind Mahavir.

"It's his." He said as he put the necklace into his pants pocket and ran towards the reception desk in front of the corridor of his room.

"Did my wife come here?" (*what did my wife come here for?) Ask one of the receptionists.

"Yes sir, she just came down a few minutes ago." (*Yes sir, he just got off a few minutes ago)

With his long steps, Mahavir was already in front of the elevator. He pushed the elevator button so impatiently. "Shit!!" He kept pushing the elevator button.

"Patience Vir..." Hanna pulls Mahavir's hand from the elevator button.

"Surely this time he misunderstood again and left his necklace just like that." He said with a rough rub of his face.

'TING...

The elevator doors opened and Stuart emerged from inside with a very pale face. "Young Master there's bad news..." Said in haste.

"Later, something more important." Mahavir rushed into the elevator regardless of Stuart. Hanna looked in surprise at Mahavir and Stuart alternately and followed Mahavir into the elevator. Stuart entered before the elevator doors closed.

"Young Master...." Stuart patted Mahavir on the shoulder with his head down. "President..."

"Why uncle?" Ask Hannah.

"President had a heart attack. We need to get there as soon as possible. The plane's waiting for us."

"Now?" Stuart nodded slowly. "But I have to see my wife first. Just for a second, I'm gonna have to straighten something out on her."

"Young Master, the President is dying. Don't let you regret it if anything happens to her."

Mahavir immediately felt his knees limp, he staggered to his back against the wall of the elevator. His brain turned back the last moments with his father. When he said rudely and cursed his father and got a slap from him.

"What's going on? Why did my father have a heart attack?"

"The stock of hotels in America slumped down. All shareholders sell their shares at a low price. Looks like someone's trying to overthrow the President there."

Mahavir clenched his hand followed by his hardened jaw. "Find out quickly which companies are trying to play with us. Let me face them." With his long steps Mahavir immediately walked out of the elevator to the hotel courtyard where there was a car waiting for them.

"Mrs. Stuart it looks like something's going on." Hanna said as her tail caught the crowd back there. Stuart only turned around at a glance but continued his steps. "You want to come see the President?" He asked, ignoring the crowd back there.

"Yes, I'm coming. I'll let my dad know when I get there." Hanna replied, following Mahavir's steps.

The three of them immediately got into the car which was as fast as lightning brought him to the airport. On the way Stuart got a message from the hotel employee. Stuart was shocked to read the bad news in the message. His face was many times paler than before. He who sat in the front passenger seat looked back to look at the nanar Mr. Mudanya who sat side by side with Hanna. Weighing will tell Mahavir the news or not.

"What's wrong? Any news from the President?" Mahavir asked noticing Stuart's gaze.

Stuart shook his head, slightly lowered his head then turned back to the front.

I'm sorry Young Master, it seems I can't tell you the bad news from your current wife. Your existence is needed by the President and the company. Many employees' fate depends on you.
