Dara didn't go to school today. Not because the girl was sick or truant, but because she was at her school's Olympics. Dika is ready with his motorcycle in front of Dara school. He didn't know that Dara wasn't at his school today.
"Well, Dika?" sapa Arinda who saw Dika in front of her school
"Where's that?" instead of answering the men asked back
"Lo don't know if Dara didn't go to school today"
"Why? Sickness" there's a tinge of worry and anxiety there
"No, but he's at the science olympics"
"What time's it?"
"Where do I know"
"Okay, thanks"
Afterwards Dika immediately put on his helmet and put forward his motorbike leaving Arinda who was still confused and upset because of Dika's cold response.
Dika finally returned to the workshop after not so pick up Dara. Dika had intended to pick up the girl and wanted to take her somewhere. But it turns out Dara is following the Olympics. Dika so remembered Danil's words, if Dara is a smart girl.
...
In the evening Dika returned to pick up Dara. But this time the man picked her up at the cafe where Dara worked. The man in the black jacket sat sweetly in his motorbike without intending to enter the cafe. This time Dika can be sure to take Dara home until his home. Because from where the man was waiting with his motorbike, he could see Dara who was busy serving cafe visitors. And once in a while the girl joked with the older woman than Dara. But something made his heart uncomfortable, when he saw Dara being approached by a man his age. The man in the same uniform as Dara was trying to tease Dara. But Dara's response was just ordinary, that made Dika a little relieved.
I don't know what feelings Dika had for Dara. Until it seems he is not willing to see the closeness of the girl with other men.
...
"Dika" said Dara who was shocked to see Dika sitting on a motorcycle in front of the cafe where he worked
"Corn"
"You waiting for me?"
"Whoa, who else is waiting for. The helmet"
"Later to get to it"
"Huh, what?"
"Say her thanks"
"Oh yes"
With lips that smile Dara riding Dika motorbike. I don't know if his heart warmed up to see Dika's attitude that night. It feels good to have him picked up this time. In addition to the girl who was happy to meet Dika, Dara was also relieved because she could be free from the coercion of Awan who wanted to take her home.
Earlier, when the last visitor to the cafe went Dara accidentally saw Dika sitting on his motorcycle. Either Dara feels very confident that Dika wants to pick him up. Because Arinda sent him a message that Arinda met Dika in front of the school who was looking for her. So it's okay if now Dara is confident that Dika wants to pick her up after work.
And of course the opportunity was Dara used for the reason of rejecting the offer of Awan who wanted to take him home. Honestly, the longer Dara was uncomfortable with the attitude of the Clouds to her. Yesterday mba Dewi said, she said The cloud likes it. Of course Dara does not believe, because for Dara, Awan is just his best friend in the cafe. And mba Dewi also had time to say, if indeed he did not like the Clouds, then Dara should be able to be firm on the Clouds. Or on the man's attitude if it makes him uncomfortable.
...
The night was 00:00, but Dara was still awake. The girl did not feel sleepy. It was as if he was thinking of something. Earlier when he was escorted home by Dika there was an incident that made him more curious about the man. When they almost reached Dara's house, they saw a woman who seemed to have just returned home from work being bullied by some thugs. Even as they approached, they saw the thugs trying to snatch the woman's bag.
And without a second thought, Dika immediately stopped the bike and asked the thugs to return the bag they had taken. Dara who was with Dika could only shut up and try to help the woman who had fallen after previously being pushed by the thug. Dara was surprised by Dika who suddenly got a pukula on her left cheek which caused the corner of her lips to bleed.
But, Dika did not just stay silent, as if angry because of the blow. Dika finally fought the two thugs by hitting him. Punch after punch Dike gave no thugs were merciless and without giving the thugs a chance of resistance. And finally the commotion ended with the run of the two thugs after returning the bag he had snatched and apologizing. Not to forget also the thugs begged for mercy on Dika who had hit them.
After that, Dara escorted Dika to the front of the house. But Dara is still curious about Dika and what his life is like. The problem after the fight happened there were some people who passed by and they turned out to know Dika well enough. They even look like they respect Dika. Dara wondered why those people could respect Dika so much. Even they were also willing to deliver the woman who was robbed earlier to her house because of orders from Dika.
Dara had asked Dika, but Dika only answered if they were her friends. Dika also had said to Dara hopefully not surprised later when he found out about the man's life. Dara did not understand the meaning of Dika's words. And when Dara asked, Dika only answered if it was not time for Dara to know.
But, to be honest Dara was curious about the man's life. About Dika who did not go to school and chose to work in a workshop. About the man who was diligent in worship, about the man who did not smoke let alone drink alcohol in the middle of the man's association which felt natural to drink alcohol. Especially about Dika who several times gave alms while with him. And plus tonight, Dara saw how Dika who looks so martial arts expert and people who look respectful to the man. Actually who is Dika, who is the man who makes Dara feel curious like this.
Maybe Dara can only wait as Dika says. If he would know the story of that man. And what Dara has to make sure is that she is ready with all the stories and facts that might be unexpected. Or even make him not believe. But, Dara felt, no matter what facts about Dika she knew, Dara would still consider Dika her best friend or maybe more. Without Dara guessing the strange feeling in her heart was interpreted a little. Dara who always tried to care for Dika, and always felt happy if she met the man. And now, in addition to feeling comfortable, Dara also felt safe as if protected by Dika.

"I like him anyway"
