The Wedding Project
Promises

Chika's hand nimbly moved the clothes from the closet into the suitcase. Organize it until it can accommodate many clothes. His mind was thinking about what he had forgotten and had not yet brought.

"Have you?" A voice from behind the open door, suddenly sounded.

"Already, Ma," Chika replied as she closed the suitcase zipper.

Ella looked at her son. There was still fear tucked in his heart when he released his son to live alone. "Remember, be careful." Only that sentence was able to come out of his mouth.

Moments later, her mother's speech stopped Chika's activity from getting ready. He sat down next to his mother and smiled. "Chika just asked mama to believe," she said looking at her mother with a look of hope.

"Mama didn't expect Mama's son to be big." Ella hugged Chika's body. Maybe this is how her parents used to feel, thought Ella who let go of her daughter to live alone.

"I wasn't fed, so I grew up." Chika slid her laughter while answering her mother's words.

Ella laughed back and took off her embrace. She asked her daughter to continue preparing again and she walked out of the room. Just as he came out of the room, he heard chatter from the living room. He had guessed it was Felix.

"You've come" she said, sitting right next to her husband.

Felix nodded at Ella. "Yes Bi …."

"Call mama, like Chika does" Ella cut. This is the mark as acceptance upon Felix for his daughter. As her husband said, Felix was a good man and was confident that he would look after his son.

"Yes, Ma." Felix was so happy. The acceptance of the Chika family turned out to be not as difficult as imagined. He vividly remembers how he used to innocently tell his baldness to Aland-Papa Chika. He was clearly approaching his son. However, Felix now realizes that it might be Aland's consideration, and Felix promises himself that he will not waste the opportunity.

"Come on." Chika's voice sounded. With his suitcase he approached Felix who was talking to his parents.

Felix nodded. Standing up he grabbed Chika's suitcase and took her to put in the trunk. Chika turns to her parents for a farewell. Convince them he'll be okay. Both parents are trying to release their daughter who wants to live independently.

Shortly after getting into the car, Felix drove forward. Felix's eyes occasionally glanced at the sad looking Chika. He realized that his fiancee was still hard to live in the apartment.

"If you are heavy, why choose to live in an apartment?" Without turning his head and focusing on the road he was going through Felix asked.

Chika turned to Felix as the voice of her fiance was heard asking.

I did all I wanted to cancel our wedding, so it's hard or not.

"I didn't say I was trying to get close to you" Chika replied. He tried to cover up the real reason.

"All right." Felix chose to give up. After all, this was very profitable for him, because without much effort Chika wanted to get close to him.

The lazy Chika threw her face towards the streets beside her. Patience is what he will instill waiting for the six months he lived.

"Don't you forget your promise to me?" Felix turned to Chika for a moment and raised a question.

A promise? Chika's forehead is wrinkled. He thought about what promise he had. Looking for pieces of his memory he finally finds the promise he gave Felix. Dinner on the first day of the move was a promise Chika remembered.

"We'll drop by the supermarket then." Chika finally complies with Felix's request.

A smile was tucked into the corner of Felix's lips. She is satisfied because it turns out Chika kept her promise to cook on the first day of her move. Turning his car, he headed to the supermarket.

"Do you have allergies?" ask Chika to make sure.

"No, I don't have allergies. I can eat anything."

Chika nodded at Felix's reply. Since there was no allergy whatsoever, he would easily cook without fear. He decided to cook the salmon grill. He bought some materials and put them in a trolley that Felix had brought.

"Because in your apartment there is no cooking equipment so you cook in my apartment." While pushing the trolley, Felix explained to Chika.

Chika glanced sharply at Felix. His brain began to think of the benefits he would get if he cooked in Felix's apartment.

In those movies I often see romantic scenes in the kitchen. So I'm gonna get Felix tempted and he's gonna touch me.

Chika's idea began to emerge. He would use the cooking moment in Felix's apartment, so that the man failed to marry him. "Alright," she replied smiling.

Felix took a peek in the sense of a smile from Chika. What's he planning? inner Felix wondered. Actually from the beginning Chika asked to live near her apartment, Felix was already suspicious. Because by living close to each other he could be tempted.

Now Felix will be more vigilant with his fiancee. She doesn't want to because of her passion, the wedding plan will fail.

Arriving in front of his apartment unit, Chika opens using an access card provided by Felix. The sight of the city that was visible was the first thing he saw when he entered the apartment.

"How much is the rental price of this apartment ?" ask Chika who wants to know. He did plan to change the rent for the apartment he was going to live in.

"It's Bryan's, he lends it to you for nothing." Felix pulled the suitcase in his hand and placed it in the corner of the room.

"Oh .. so this is Bryan's," Chika replied nodding her head. She was grateful that her friend's husband was kind enough to lend her this apartment.

At least my savings won't run out. I had imagined for this grand plan, I had to give up my savings.

Chika was still looking at the city view that was visible from the big window in her apartment. The towering building and several small houses around it, look very contrasting when viewed.

"I'm gonna put this food in the apartment. You just trim your things first." Felix twists his body and exits Chika's apartment.

Chika's eyes looked at Felix's back which slowly disappeared from her sight. A smile tucked in the corner of his lips. He did not expect this to take a step.

"If Papa hadn't liked Felix, I wouldn't have been this hard" he said.

Not wanting to linger, Chika pulls her suitcase into the room. Then he put his clothes in the closet and arranged them neatly. The clothes he carried were only a little, because he was sure that later he would not be up to six months to make his relationship with Felix end.
