Heart Thumping

Chika swallows her saliva when Regan asks Felix to take her to the doctor. Felix's eyes looking at him full of worried feelings made him confused as to what to answer.

"So she said her heart was pounding, I was scared it'd be like Selly." Regan added to his words.

Chika's cheeks blush. He feels so ashamed. His pounding heart was not a heartache but a pounding from hearing Felix's seduction this morning.

"Your heart hurts? Does it feel like being squeezed? Hard to breathe too?" Staring at Chika filled with worry, Felix poked with questions.

"No," elak Chika, "my heart is pounding not because of that." Chika really doesn't know what to explain to Felix.

"Why did your heart beat this morning?" ask Regan.

Facing Felix and Regan who keep asking makes Chika even more confused. He himself did not know what the feeling was, but what was clear was that the feeling was not due to a heartache.

"What does it feel like to be close to someone?" Bryan's voice sounded along to throw a question. He used to think that his heart was pounding because of heart disease, when he started to like his wife.

Faced with three men makes Chika wrong. He was embarrassed and didn't know what to answer.

Bryan noticed Chika's change in face. She can read, if what happened to Chika is the same as what happened to her. "Have it done, she's just in love, nothing's gonna happen." Bryan plainly explained to Felix, Regan and Chika.

Felix looked at Chika fixedly. However, then a smile implied on his face. This morning he had just seduced his fiance and it was probably what made him flutter.

Chika could only catch her breath and throw it rough. He himself could not interpret his feelings, how could Bryan conclude everything. Turning to look at Felix, Chika is made even more clueless by the smile Felix gives.

"Oh that …." Regan smiles. Finally he knew the answer to why his secretary was holding his chest this morning.

"Then let's go back to the office." Felix knows Chika is very shy. So he did not want to add to the wrong behavior of his fiancee. Stand up he says goodbye to Regan.

Bryan who was invited back to the office also stood up. However, before returning to get out of Regan's room, she teases Chika first. "It's cured if it's been disclosed, so just express it." He smiled and stepped out of Regan's room.

It felt like Chika wanted to drown inside the deep sea floor to hide her shy face. Hopefully later Felix will not tease him over this incident today.

At the apartment Chika was still silent. Since getting into the car to go home, Chika chose to stay quiet. He looked the other way, other than Felix. No eye contact with Felix resulted in his misbehavior.

"So come to the gym?" ask Felix before he gets into the apartment.

Chika remembered her promise this morning to go to the gym. He answered Felix's question. Felix asks Chika to get ready and go to the gym together.

At the gym Chika and Felix saw many people who were also exercising. Some women are helped by gym trainers doing movements.

"What do you want?" ask Felix to Chika.

Chika is picking out the gym equipment. His eyes were fixed on a treadmill, finally he chose that tool alone to burn his calories.

Felix helps Chika to set the speed of the tool. "Treadmills are great for losing weight, burning calories and maintaining heart health." When saying the word 'heart' Felix's smile was drawn at the corner of his lips.

Realizing that Felix was teasing her, Chika just poked her lips. Heart problems are not likely to end.

"Alright, I've arranged this, just relax, because if you get too excited that your heart will beat faster." Felix again seduces Chika while leaving Chika.

Chika just rolled her eyes lazily. He's upset that Felix keeps discussing heart problems.

Felix chose the treadmill next to Chika. Side by side, in order to simultaneously chat with his fiancee. Sure enough, Chika started talking to him. He asked permission to ask and Felix nodded.

"Do you know Theo Julian?" asked Chika who was so curious.

"Have you met him?" ask Felix to make sure.

"Yes, when he asked to cooperate with Mr. Regan."

Chika thinks of Felix's name, until she finally discovers that Felix's last name with Theo is the same. "He's your papa?" tanyanya.

"Yes." Yeah." Felix sped up the treadmill and made him run.

He's a rich kid why be someone else's assistant?

Chika wondered in her heart. Seeing Felix's changed face made Chika realize something. Between Felix and his father is not okay and how papa Felix asked Regan to work with the company Adion, explained if their communication is not good.

Chika chose to keep her mouth shut. He did not dare to ask far to Felix when he saw the look of Felix's face that seemed to dislike when discussing his papa. He continued to run on the treadmill.

Sometimes Chika sees Felix who has been dripping with sweat. From the first time to the gym, he had seen the muscular arms of his fiancee, because her fiance was wearing a sleeveless shirt. A thread of sweat flowing down Felix's body, making his skin look sexy.

Actually seeing Felix's body wasn't the first for Chika. First when he accidentally saw in the apartment, second when he was swimming. Because not focused and immediately throw away his face, he finally did not see the indahan created from the body that often sports it.

"I think your heart will get used to it if it's helped by staring." Felix spoke without seeing Chika. He only glanced at the little Chika who was busy glancing at him as well.

Chika regains consciousness as Felix catches her glancing at her. In a hurry he threw his face away. He didn't want Felix to see his red tomato-like face.

Heart ... oh. heart. You really troubled me, Chika complained inwardly.

Felix smiled at Chika. He was happy, his fiance had started to have interest in him. Hopefully before marriage, Chika already likes it and marriage can occur because of love.

"Hi, Felix," said a woman approaching Felix.

"Hi, Laura." Felix smiled and greeted the woman back.

"Wah ... I haven't seen you here in a long time" he said in a sensual tone.

"I'm busy."

Chika who heard Felix's conversation with the woman next to him was really upset, just as upset as she was when she saw Felix with the woman at the bar. However, Chika believes that the woman is not Felix's lover, because Felix seems ordinary with her.

"Who is he?" laura asked, her eyes fixed on Chika.

"I'm his fiancee." Chika's voice sounded full of affirmation. He wanted to confirm if the man he was talking to was his fiancee.

"Oh, you're engaged. I think after breaking up with Angel, you haven't had a boyfriend."

Angel? Chika guesses if the name of the woman called it was Felix's ex.

"I'm not looking for a boyfriend, but a wife, and this is my wife" Felix said, staring at Chika.

"All right, I'm waiting for the invitation." Laura gently patted Felix's shoulder and rushed away from Felix's place.

"Who's Angel?" Chika immediately asked a question shortly after the woman left.
