Chapter 145: Armistice Completed II

Jack Rakan and Gamora stand side by side, both observing the struggle of Erinka and Rikka who are trying to resuscitate Ragna.

"Did they succeed?" Said Gamora with a sharp eye full of vigilance.

"Come on." said Jack Rakan, he took a cigarette from his pants pocket and then he smoked, "Huh.." he exhaled cigarette smoke slowly and looked very calm.

"I feel that the magic energy of the demons is slowly weakening so I guess they succeeded..."

"Yes, I hope so too!! Because if they fail then it is certain that I am not able to fight anymore." said Gamora.

Jack Rakan began to feel the pain from the wound to his left arm, he glanced at the blue flame that burned the wound in his left arm and was seen starting to extinguish, "It seems like the blue fire effect is starting to fade..." he murmured in the heart.

Erinka uses a right arm wrapped in darkness while Rikka uses light elements to resuscitate Ragna.

"HIIE...!!!" Shouted the two women who continued to drain energy on Ragna so that he realized.

"Continue flowing your energy, Rikka!! Don't stop and we almost managed to resuscitate this fool!!" Erinka Shouts.

The originally thrashing Ragna slowly turned quiet, her originally overflowing magic energy was now turning more stable.

Meanwhile, in Ragna's subconscious.

He was in a dark place and standing on a pitch black water.

"uh? Where's me?" Said Ragna who did not understand.

"Tap.. tap... tap.." slowly heard footsteps walking on the water, he approached Ragna and laughed loosely, "Hahahaha...!!"

Ragna stared intently at the man standing before her, "Who are you?"

"I am the devil that dwells in your body." he said with a sly smile.

Yes, the devil has exactly the same appearance as Ragna only he has deep black hair, black eyeballs and a pair of adorned horns.

Ragna did not believe what he said, she was confused and did not know what to do, "You must be lying!!! Where is the devil in my body?"

"Khi.." The devil smiled, "Either you believe it or not but I am the devil..."

"And if you ask me what this place is then I will answer 'this place is your body or rather this place is the darkness of your deepest heart'..."

The demon smiled again, "The 'devil slayer' magic you have got from killing me..."

"What!!!!" Ragna was surprised, "I don't even remember meeting you so when did I finish you off? You must be trying to lie to me!!!"

"Hahahaha...!!!" The devil laughed, "You believe it or not it's your business but let me say one thing..."

"You forgot me because of memory loss and the cause of that memory loss because you killed me..."

Ragna did not want to believe it but somehow his words made her furious, "Damn it!!! You have stolen my memory!!!"

"Haha...!!! Don't get mad that way you should thank me because thanks to me you have the magic 'devil slayer'..."

The demon laughed as if mocking Ragna, "Hahahahaha...!! Stupid!!"

"Curtain, dammit!!! Don't laugh like that with the same look as me!!!" Shouted Ragna who was at the peak of her anger.

"Yes, to be honest, I like my former form better than the present one..."

Ragna grew furious and felt played.

The devil said with a sly smile, "Kurogami Ragna, keep fighting and be strong and I will take over this body." it slowly faded into black smoke.

"Stupid!! This is my body and I will not let you act as you please." said Ragna with sharp eyes.

Meanwhile.

In the real world Erinka and Rikka have managed to make Ragna back to the beginning and now Ragna is unconscious

"Hah. hah.. hah.." both Erinka and Rikka slowly tried to regulate their breathing, both of them seem exhausted after channeling all their energy to Ragna.

"Basic!! This fool is really troublesome." Erinka told her unconscious colleague, she was upset but the noble girl was relieved.

Although not yet conscious, Rikka just hugged Ragna tightly, "Sister, I'm so glad you're okay..."

"I'm sorry!! This all happened because of me." the little devil girl sobbed.

Erinka patted the little girl on the shoulder, "Stop crying!! It's all over so now smile, rejoice and laugh..."

"Although not yet conscious but Ragna will be very sad when you see yourself crying like that..."

Yes, Rikka slowly raised her face and said with a wide smile, "Emm!! I cannot be sad anymore!!!"

Erinka smiled broadly then said, "Well, that's dong!!"

"Tap.. tap..." Jack Rakan walked closer slowly, exhaling cigarette smoke, "Huh.." and in a lazy tone he said, "Congratulations, you two managed to stop this madness..."

"Well, it never occurred to me that the demon was stopped by two girls..."

Then to his surprise he was not alone, Fibel the leader of the 7th Shadow Battalion had returned and now Fibel floated in the air moving closer.

Gamora clasped her sword tightly with her right hand and with a sharp eye she said, "The gunfire is over so let's start our fight again..."

"We don't want to hurt you as long as you're willing to hand over the little devil girl and the man with the magic of 'Devil Slayer'." said Fibel.

The three who were pressed became very furious because after working together to stop the raging Ragna had to fight again.

Jack Rakan tried to remain calm even though he was in a panic, "Damn, I have lost an arm and my energy is almost exhausted so fight them both at once I can not fail..."

The commander of the Magic Army thought but found no idea of escaping from either, saying, "Well, yeah, even though we have fought together and I have even considered you as partners but I never expected you guys even invite us to be hostile.." he also pulled a sword from a portal in front of him.

Erinka also did the same, she took out a large sword on her back, "Retreat, Rikka!!" The sword blasts out red flames.

The two stared intently at their enemies and said firmly, "Let's fight!!"
