Chapter 10: Still Away

Erinka faces off again with the man she had twice been in trouble with being barred.

As an enemy, the man used a magic item in the form of an iron glove.

"Hahaha...!!" He laughed after breaking Erinka's right arm.

Erinka stared with a stern look, "Damn it, do you think you've won?"

"Currently, you're still arrogant, too, little girl.." the man made a follow-up attack by jumping and then hitting.

"DYYEESS...!!" The man's fist missed and only hit the ground and created a basin.

Although Erinka was able to dodge but still he was thrown backwards because of the strong wind.

"Ughhh!!" Erinka tried to stand up straight with her left hand holding the broken right hand, "Damn, do I have to use the power of the Phoenix? But the problem is I haven't mastered it yet!! I'm afraid I'm losing control." she thought.

"Hahahaha.." Erinka's opponent let out a laugh, "You can still survive, little girl..."

Ragna who was fighting other smugglers was very stubborn, "He was desperate as well." he said when he saw Erinka managed to be cornered by the opponent.

"I guessed it, we couldn't possibly win against them." Ragna murmured in her heart and she was thinking of a way to escape.

Ragna's thinking of a plan but she's deadlocked, "Damn, I don't think there's a choice..."

The man in the forest yelled, "Cih...!!! I'm sick!! Let's die together...!!!"

He lit a wick on the explosive and threw it on a large box that was all dynamite.

"What...!!!" All the workers who saw him immediately panicked and were shocked at the crazy actions of Ragna and even Erinka who was fighting the fight were shocked.

"Are you crazy, boy?" Shouted the man who was fighting against Erinka.

"Yes, I'm crazy." answered Ragna with a big smile.

Erinka immediately ran towards Ragna and pulled her hand, "Stupid base!!"

"You're the fool!!" Both run away.

They were all instantly engulfed in an overwhelming panic and were running in all directions.

"Everyone run!!!"

"Leave this place!!!"

"We're going to die!!!" Shouted the smugglers who were running around unscrupulously.

Erinka was so irritated, "What are you thinking...!!!"

"I didn't think of anything...!!!" Shouting Ragna.

"Are you not thinking about our lives?"

"Of course not!!"

The two ran as fast as they could then jumped into the water together, "DHHUUAARR...!!!!" Incredibly powerful explosions occurred in quick succession that night.

It made the entire population in the city next door which was located a little far away was shocked when they heard the sound of the explosion.

They ran out of the house and became wide-eyed when they saw the flames of the explosion soaring high with a red light blazing through the night, "What really happened?" Those who were surprised wondered.

The time that was originally night slowly changed with morning, the moonlight slowly changed with sunlight.

The day that just came.

Then a huge explosion at night that was very surprising it made the security forces of the nearest city move towards that place.

Even so, what remains there are only the remnants of a large explosion with a puff of smoke in several places.

Those who arrived there too late to find nothing but the debris of the explosion, all charred by the flames of the explosion.

Ragna and Erinka, both very lucky to escape the explosion.

They float on the surface of the water with a stand on a piece of debris that is above sea level.

Erinka still couldn't believe the crazy act her friend was doing and she looked angry, "Curly, I can't believe you did it!! You almost killed me...!!"

Erinka still thinks everything is Ragna's fault, "It's all because of you, the smuggling mastermind failed to come to light and also I failed a level A mission"

Ragna just fell silent and did not answer anymore, she did not want to have trouble with her anger Erinka but she muttered in her heart, "Stupid ah...!! The important thing is congratulations!!"

Once again they had nothing but shabby, dirty and ragged clothes like a vagabond who both wore.

"Huh.." the two let out a long sigh and looked very tired.

Erinka the noble girl grumbled, "Damn, what should we do? Are we going to enter the city with this appearance?"

Ragna became annoyed at the noble girl who had invited herself out from the middle of the forest, "You're right we can't wander around in the middle of the city with this appearance...!!!"

"We're just like bums!! I'm so hungry and I have no choice but to head to the city for food...!!"

Erinka who was a noble was embarrassed at her appearance, "I won't go to the city in such shabby and dirty clothes like this...!!"

Ragna was getting irritated, "Yes already then!! We part here and I'll find the memories of my past alone." she slowly walked away.

"Eehh...???!!!" Erinka was surprised, "You kidding me??"

"I'm serious." said Ragna kept walking away.

"But I need you!!"

"I don't care!!"

Erinka has no choice but to chase after Ragna knowing that her left arm will break again and that the Phoenix's fire power control inside her will escape if she moves away from Ragna, "Hey, wait for me..."

"Khehehe..." Ragna laughed inwardly as she glanced back at Erinka's ego.

The day slowly began at noon and coincidentally in the city was being held a parade so that many people crowded filled the street pavement.

Because the crowd Ragna and Erinka so embarrassed to show themselves, they are embarrassed because the clothes are worn dirty especially their body odor now is very pungent and piercing the nose.

The two hid in a narrow hole and stared from afar, "Duh, now we have to how?" Erinka.

"With our clothes now then we can be mistaken..." Ragna became pessimistic about showing herself.

They are thinking of finding food and money without having to show themselves but after thinking hard they both find a dead end.

Yeah, either luck or misfortune befell the two as some people approached from behind, "Hey, this is our area!! And your dirty clothes are disturbing my eyes...!!"

"God!! You guys are the kingpins!!" Those who showed up were a bunch of thugs.

Erinka and Ragna glanced back and grinned at the idea, "Khehehehe...!!!"

"What's so funny??!!!" Snatch the thug leader.

"Yes...!!! Wwd...!!!" Ragna and Erinka fight against them mercilessly.

The two beat up the thugs and took some clothes from them and took all their money.

Now Ragna is wearing a red shirt with long black pants and Erinka is wearing a white shirt with no sleeves, long black pants and a hat on the head.

"We are worse than them." said Ragna who pityed the thugs who lay on the ground naked.

"You know, sometimes city life is more cruel than the forest." Erinka said without any guilt.

"Yep, now we can go for a walk." said Ragna.

"That's right!!" Erinka who looks beautiful even with booty clothes.

Crowds of people filled the city streets, they were made up of merchants and residents who were enjoying the crowds from the parade.

The two walk down the city street to forage and look around for money from blackmailing the thugs.

"Hmm... I don't think it out? Although last night there was an incredible explosion but the people here did not feel the slightest panic." said Ragna.

"Well, maybe the officials or authorities in this place keep the incident a secret." said Erinka.

"I understand!! If the incident is known to the public I'm sure they'll panic." said Ragna.

"Fright!!" Erinka said with a look back and forth, "Duh, if last night I had not failed to uncover the mastermind of smuggling surely today I would be famous and have a lot of money..."

"Don't make it up!! We can't win against all of them because we're outnumbered and you're too reckless." said Ragna, still upset at Erinka's selfish attitude, "By the way how far is our destination now from this place??"

"Don't be asked again, our goal is still far away..."

"Huff?" Ragna breathed a deep breath, "We should find information and ideas on how to travel next..."

"Everything would have been so much easier if I hadn't lost my backpack." grumbled Erinka who was a noble girl.
