"We will do X-rays to ensure the disease suffered by the patient. There's a disturbance in his lungs, we suspect it's pulmonary edema."

Deline glanced at her brother lying on the bed unconscious. She bit her lips because she was feeling agitated. The statement that the doctor gave scared him, as a layman who was not familiar with such a type of illness made him overthing. The girl waited alone in the hospital until the morning like now. He called his father, but he hasn't arrived yet.

Pulmonary edema is a serious medical condition that occurs when excess or buildup of fluid begins to fill the air in the lungs. When filled with fluid, the alveolus cannot add oxygen or remove carbon dioxide from the blood. That's why Danesh has trouble breathing, plus he's a heavy smoker. Smoking can trigger lung disease by damaging the airways and small air pockets (alveoli).

"What did the doctor say?" Kevin suddenly appeared. The look on his face showed anxiety.

"Sister Kevin-" He's the one who contacted the intelligence. "The doctor said it's possible that Danesh was diagnosed with pulmonary edema. They're gonna do an X-ray to make sure."

Kevin squeezed his hair rough. This is his fear of the disease that Danesh suffered. And right, his condition looked miserable. A ventilator attached to his nose, adding to the worry. When the doctor has done so it means the condition is severe. He was wearing a breathing apparatus— indicating that the illness he was suffering from was chronic. Oh, my God, please help Danesh get through a time like this.

He told Deline a lot about the early symptoms that his best friend felt. However, Danesh is so stubborn and dismisses it. Kevin had told her many times to see a doctor, but the man only agreed. Deline was quite struck by the story revealed by Kevin. She did not expect her brother to be a heavy smoker and had been feeling the symptoms for years.

"Sister Dan, I'm sorry." muttered Deline as she clasped her brother's hand.

He leaned his head against Danesh's bed, slowly closing his eyes. While the intelligence was dumbstruck at the thought of everything raging inside his head. Fear, anxiety and worry mixed into one so as to make his heart restless. He's afraid if Danesh says .. wait! Is the girl asleep? Kevin got up from his seat, he approached Deline to make sure that the boy was sleeping properly in a sitting position.

"Sister" Deline looked up when she felt someone had covered her back in a jacket.

Kevin surprised. "I thought you were sleeping,"

Deline shook her head, she looked back at the older brother. It is clear that this girl loves her brother very much, Kevin can judge for himself. The way he looked at Danesh showed great anxiety and worry. Now he realized, it was true that the brotherly relationship between the two was well established. They have been separated for years.

"If you're sleepy, just sleep on the couch. Let me wait for him" said Kevin.

"It's okay. I can't sleep,"

"Deline, listen to me. Rest, I'll wake you when Danesh wakes up."

"Yes promise?" Deline brandished her little finger. The man nodded, slowly linking their fingers.

If you ask, how can they be close? Actually they are not close, the two just knew a few days ago. Deline knows who Kevin is from her brother's story. It's not a matter of matchmaking, but Danesh introduces Kevin as his closest friend.

⁇ ️ MORNING️

It was morning, but he was still at home in his world. I don't know until when Danesh will return to the real world to just relieve the heart of his family. Why did his soul return to that body for so long? What's there, is there more fun than in this world? His heartbeat showed normalcy, the doctor had checked his condition a few minutes ago. Now he's waiting for her to wake up. The X-ray will be out tomorrow night, and they'll know what Danesh's real illness is.

The electrocardiogram machine suddenly showed instability. The sound of an elongated beep accompanied by a green line on the screen looks up and down. Deline and Kevin panicked, one of them calling the doctor to check on Danesh. The man opened his mouth by breathing faltering and his eyes bulging. It did not take long, the doctor immediately took action by attaching a pacemaker to avoid unwanted things.

Deline trembled to see her brother's condition in such a critical state. Not sparing her tears kept flowing down her cheeks. It hurts when the most precious person in his life has to fight against the disease as it is now. Danesh is fighting hard to fight his pain. He wanted to go back and see his sister again, but the disease had already gnawed at his body. A sense of heat and tightness is being felt by Danesh. It hurts, it really hurts. Can he hold his sister for a moment? Can he see Deline for even a second?

"We're sorry-,"

"No! Nah! I don't want to hear it,"

"Mr Dilbara was unable to fight his illness,"

The girl fell unconscious after hearing the doctor declare that her brother had died. He was powerless, as if half his soul had been lost with Danesh. Not only was the girl in shock, but Kevin was as well. He went limp and wept bitterly over the passing of his best friend. The family also felt frustrated while regretting his departure. Why is it so short for Danesh to live? He hasn't even tasted the wedding altar. I haven't seen his sister get married one day.

No one can fight God's destiny. Maybe all of this was the best way for him. The Creator is much more aware of the best decision for Danesh. He is a class of good people, it has become common if good people will go first. The world is too hard for Danesh, enough of his struggles. He had already reached the highest point as he wanted. Danesh has been responsible and played a great role as a brother and sister.

The cause of death of the man was due to heart failure experienced by Danesh. The disorder can occur because the left ventricle is not able to pump in enough blood, so the pressure in the left atrium and blood vessels in the lungs increases. Diseases diagnosed in Danesh penetrated into the heart, and eventually lead to death. Not blaming him, but the man was too trivial the symptoms he had been experiencing so far.

"It's all because of your presence with us" he said Natha intended to judge Deline.

The girl did not believe what her father said. But he said like that. All the relatives present at her brother's funeral also did the same. They talk about Deline like she's the unlucky bearer of Danesh's death. They looked at him hatefully.

"From tomorrow leave the house and return to Canada. I can't-,"

"Wait, what do you mean?" sassy Arnold. He was present at the funeral.

Natha turned body. "Hey, you don't interfere."

"W-what?" He was surprised to read the writing.

Arnold grabbed the paper, then gave it to Deline. "Danesh asked me to reverse the name of the land certificate to belong to his sister. You have no right to throw him out of that house,"

Deline was shocked as well as the people present. While Natha snorted long because she felt unacceptable. He kept scathing sarcastic words to his daughter. Natha was so unaccepting when she found out. Now that we understand, it turns out that Danesh gave the inheritance because he felt that his life would not be long.

"I'm your real daughter, but I don't think of her that way." Deline poured out her heart.

Natha was silent in place while glancing at the girl beside her.

"Dad told me to go back to Canada, and there I had no one." He looked at the father. The man was a little stunned to hear it.

"Mother is dead, then with whom else if I don't go back to my own father" she continued crying.

Natha's eyes were shocked. However, he did not show his reaction directly. The man chose to leave and ignored Deline. The girl was crying more and more, it was very painful to be ignored by her own biological father like this. Right, for now he no longer has anyone. Her mother and sister are gone forever. Something that had never been imagined before. The most loved ones leave him alone.

Deline came out of the funeral hall. Run to the backyard and cry. The sadness that Deline experienced was so piercing to the heart, there was no other way but to cry. Kevin approached her—she held the girl's shoulder, then pulled her into his arms. No matter how Deline reacted, she knew the girl desperately needed a shoulder to lean on and vented her grief. Kevin understood how devastated Deline felt for now.

"Why! Why is! Why!" His fingers squeezed firmly into the suit that Kevin was wearing.

"Expose all your sorrow. It's okay, cry. I know exactly how you feel now, Deline.

...🥀Only God knows where you are now🥀...

...🍃Goodbye, Danesh Dilbara🍃...

Deline stepped inside the house. Her hand fingered the light switch—now quiet. Only he and his shadow lived in this vast house. The funeral was completed five hours ago, but the girl decided to return home late and sat in a brooding room next to Danesh's grave for hours. Sow flowers, pray and rub the tombstone of the brother. Condolences continue to be sent by friends, colleagues and some people who know him. They send flower arrangements as a form of concern.

The bell rang—someone was pecking in front there waiting for the host to open the door. Deline peeking from behind the curtain—Danesh? No, this is wrong. His sister had died—the door was knocked roughly in tandem with the appearance of a gust of wind that hit his body. The girl walked backwards, the situation grew more tense as the lights throughout the room went out suddenly. The groaning of someone asking for help was heard from out there. Deline could sense that something was trying to scare her.

"Go!" his yell.

One of the sitting lights turned on by itself. From above came the sound of someone crawling over the ceiling. He looked up, the creature up there moving agilely around. Flower vase falls—Danesh's room door suddenly opens. A shadow approached towards her, Deline frightened—ran towards her room and immediately closed the door. His heartbeat skipped a beat, his hair began to stand up. No, the creature wasn't the 'he' who always bullied him. The cold and dark aura Deline was feeling. It's different, I don't know what it's that he's obviously very dangerous.

As Deline leaned against the door of her room, it suddenly seemed like it was being forcefully opened by an extremely powerful energy. The girl fell down, and found a woman she had seen looking at her blankly. Both of his hands were raised straight ahead. This moment reminded Deline of the incident at the restaurant back then—sama exactly. And also ... this scent? It actually smelled what appeared alongside the woman.

"Follow with me .. scented child." he said softly. It is barely audible.

"Go!" Deline moved backwards in a seated position.

He approached—with a single action, the woman strangled his neck. Deline's body was lifted up, while the creature smiled widely as it was happy to see its target in a near-death position. The creature with the appearance of a pale face, long hair and mouth spit out blood dripping down his neck. Not too sinister, but the negative energy emitted by it felt tight and extremely powerful. The girl tried to escape by banging her hands, while her feet moved back and forth.

"To-long!"

"You're better than those boys, my scented son."

"Well from him, devil!" screech at another creature. Instantly the woman who strangled him crashed into another room.

Deline fell to the floor rough. The figure of a creature dressed in a wedding dress pierced through the wall and approached the woman earlier. From the glint of his eyes showed a burning rage. He does not accept if his dream child is bullied or tried to be seized by other creatures. The girl's breathing was wheezing, the pressure on her neck felt tight. Deline tried to catch her breath. It's very painful and shocking. He almost died in the woman's hand.

There was a noise coming from the room next to his room. Deline wanted to see what was happening, but her body was limp enough to stand up. He only heard someone was having a fight mentioning the savage demon and its scent. Truly he did not understand what they were saying, the last time he heard someone shouting loudly wanting to reciprocate the treatment of the woman who called herself a dream child.

"What have you done so that a demon like him knows if you are a scented child. After being like this, I'm not sure if your life will always be safe. He will continue to intrude and want your soul."

Deline stunned. He did not understand what the creature was saying. What does it mean scented child? And what mistake has he made—iblis who is meant? Oh, I don't know. It was confusing, his head felt heavy to think of such things. Deline was already unable to resist the dizziness that struck her head, slowly she was unconscious beside the bookshelf. It doesn't matter who or whatever it is that's trying to kidnap or drag him out. His consciousness slowly disappeared—before closing his eyes, he saw a man running over and calling his name.

"Sister Dan-,"
