Me And The Mysterious Man's

Me And The Mysterious Man's
Chapter 38 - Chaos at the Party

Becca closed her eyes. As if allowing Jack to continue to give a soft touch to his lips. His heart was not silent. Like a drum being shaved. The embarrassed red hue had already reached both of his ears. Somehow Becca hoped time would stop for a moment.

Jack slowly released his lips. She looked at Becca who was still busy closing her eyes. His heart was also pounding violently. It felt like he wanted to take Becca away from the crowd, and kiss her even longer. Jack has not felt the noise for a long time. The last time Jack remembered, his heart was pounding when he was in High School. And that was about years ago.

"Jack!" mike's voice ripped Jack's mind off.

Becca seemed to have opened her eyes wide. He was unable to say a single word. His brain seemed to experience dysfunction, because of the dust in his heart and heart.

"Come on Becca." Jack invites Becca to walk up to Mike.

"Jack, I'm gonna go to the toilet for a second." Becca spoke while releasing Jack's hand.

"Alright," replied Jack who slowly removed his grip from Becca's hand.

Jack was on Mike's side. He breathed through his mouth. To be honest, there was a little bit of noise left due to one touch a few minutes ago. Jack stared blankly at the floor. His mind ran again, even forgetting his main purpose of coming to the party.

Mike actually saw it all. Including what Jack and Becca did while dancing. He was worried about his friend. His hand held a glass filled with reddish-colored wine. Mike moved it as if it formed a curve.

"Are you thinking about Becca?" Mike looked at Jack with his eyes on his tail.

"Oh, it feels weird." Jack was straightforward in brief.

"Jack, we need to focus on work now" Mike reminded. He said it slowly. His eyeballs tried to highlight Aaron's whereabouts. The silvery-haired man was seen dancing with a woman.

"Look at the old man, how many women are dancing with him?" Mike asked in a whisper. He's talking about Aaron.

"I think it's the third one." Jack looked at Aaron from a distance. Both hands crossed in front of his chest. His body was leaned against the wall behind him.

"What a perfect life" Mike commented as he looked at his empty glass. He now placed it on a tray that happened to be being carried by the maid. Then take another glass of cocktail with a garnish of lime and mint leaves.

"Yes, but he ruined people's lives too much. Even his own children." Jack spoke in a soft tone. He looked at Mike who was gulping down his cocktail.

"He's an assh*ole! I hope someone shoots a bullet in his head." Mike was upset. Now the look in his eyes turned to look at Marion. The woman he had brought as a couple to the party. Marion seemed to be enjoying the dish alone.

"Marion was very excited," Mike paused his speech for a moment, then brought his mouth closer to Jack's ear. "I think this is the first time he's been to a rich man's party..."

"He must have fallen in love with you, because you were the one who brought him here." Jack smiled in anguish.

"Aren't those in love you and Becca?" mike doesn't want to lose. He continued with a round of his lazy eye seeds. Actually Mike does not want to discuss it, but because Jack started first, of course he issued a deadly style that can make Jack's tongue confused. "I can realize it from the gaze of the two of you," he said again.

"Can we talk about something else?" reply Jack while taking a glass of cocktail with a sprightly from the waiter tray. After that he immediately drank up with a blend of lemon and blueberry flavor.

Mike, who heard Jack give up, just chuckled. He's increasingly convinced that Jack already has feelings for Becca. But Mike decided to talk about it next time.

"The guard would not leave his place. Should we do something?" mike said annoyed when he saw Aaron's men still standing guard on the stairs. The second floor was indeed made Aaron as a forbidden area. He didn't let anyone go there. Even his own partner.

"I know the ins and outs of this house. Now we just need the right time."

Jack turned his gaze toward the table where rows of wine bottles were placed. His attenuation was fixed on a male servant who looked suspicious. His hands are placed in his pants pocket. It was as if there was something he was holding. His eyes looked towards Aaron who had finished dancing.

Slowly the servant took out the thing he had been hiding. Jack's eyes immediately rounded when he knew it was a gun.

"Mike!" screeched Jack while pointing to the male servant who had noticed earlier. Then immediately ran towards Aaron. Jack knew that saving a target victim was more important than preventing the perpetrator from firing a bullet. After all, Aaron's distance from him was closer than the waiter. Jack must have done the calculations before he acted.

Dor!!!

A bullet had shot right at Aaron. The bullet flew towards the target. But fortunately, Jack was able to save Aaron in time. Both of them are now on the floor.

Everyone at the party panicked. They fought each other to save themselves. The once elegant and luxurious party atmosphere instantly turned into chaos.

Jack immediately took Aaron to safety. While Mike rushed over to the male servant who had not stopped firing bullets at Aaron.

Dor's! Dor's! Dor's!

The gunfire stopped, as Mike managed to snatch the gun and slammed a punch into the servant's face.

...***...

Becca was still in the toilet. His hand held his own lips. His head kept thinking about what Jack was doing to him.

The deg! The deg!

Becca's heart was pounding again. His eyes blinked a few times. Becca doesn't want to fall in love with Jack. But again, he was unable to control his feelings. Next to his hand was his own cell phone. He managed to take his phone back because he happened to witness the guards being off guard. Becca isn't the kind of girl to waste a good opportunity. Especially if it has to do with his personal belongings.

Drrr...

Becca's phone is vibrating. A sign a message has come in. He immediately checked the message sent by Tara.

...'Becca, where are you? don't tell me you're home?'...

That's how the text message Tara sent. Becca scrunched her forehead. He now bites his own finger as a result of feeling bad for Tara. As a result, Becca chose to speak directly over the phone.

"Where are you?" timpal Tara from across the phone.

"Sorry Tara, I have a promise to keep" Becca said ambiguously.

"What promise? with who?"

"Ma.mmm..." Becca mute. Don't know what to answer. Silence happens for a moment. Becca just didn't want to say she was with Jack. That was when his ears caught the sound of gunfire from outside. He who was originally sitting on the closet automatically got up and stood up. Becca's eyes were perfectly rounded, now her heart was not beating out of love anymore, but from fear.

"What the hell? what's that commotion?" tanya Tara, who can also hear clearly the sound of gunfire.
