Chapter 19 The Assault

Some of the troops in the command of Commander Arga settled and killed the loyal servants of Prince Aslan and also Queen Safiya.

But it was soon discovered by Hamza, the right hand of Queen Safiya. There was a battle in the palace.

Halil, who realizes there is a power struggle tonight, uses it to free Benazir.

"I'll set you free first. There was bloodshed in the palace. They kill each other for the throne. You're still not safe here. Let's get out!"

Halil killed some of the guards in which Benazir was detained.

"Stay by my side" said Halil holding Benazir's hand out of the palace through a secret passage.

While inside the palace is completely chaotic. Prince Aslan and Prince Edric fought fiercely. The sound of the sword and the sound of several maids shouting made the atmosphere even more gripping.

Queen Safiya was confined to her room because Hamza deliberately guarded the room outside Queen Safiya and killed some of the soldiers who tried to break into Queen Safiya's room.

Until some palace officials who woke up at night immediately gathered and made a union.

"We must act! If not all will be destroyed in one night" said a top official.

"Yes. Who's on whose side?"

"I remain with the descendants of King Ahmet. Prince Aslan."

"Me too,"

"If so, let's lead the army and think Arga's siege of rebels and also Prince Edric,"

"Let's do it soon. The atmosphere is so chaotic,"

They soon besieged Commander Arga as well as Prince Edric. They captured a concubine who was none other than the mother of Prince Edric who was the brains of tonight's assault.

The battle back was fierce. Prince Edric did not care and still attacked Prince Aslan.

Until one arrow hit his chest. Slowly Prince Edric fell to the ground.

This surprised Arga. Arga quickly ran away from the palace on a secret path before Prince Aslan realized it.

Hamza was also still busy with some of the soldiers attacking him.

"Prince Edric is down! Stop that!" Prince Aslan shouted loudly to make all the soldiers of his followers stop and after seeing Arga was not among them, and the fallen prince Aslan, then they surrendered themselves at that time.

While the Queen immediately came out in Hamza's protection.

The concubine then ran to hug her son.

"Prince...." The concubine who was none other than the mother of the prince Edric hugged her and wept for her son.

"Catch 'em!" Queen Safiya was full of anger at the chaos tonight.

"Hameza! Chase him! And if you fight back you can finish him off!"

The other soldiers took the rebels to prison.

Benazir and Halil find the diamond and take it out of the palace.

They had managed to save themselves in the morning and reached the residence of the Halil brothers.

"Thank God we got here. And we also brought father's diamonds. I will never enter the palace again" said Benazir hugging Hamza.

"Yes...What's there for again? Your parents are here" Halil smiled and hugged Benazir.

"Thank you.I owe you my life..."

"Don't say that if you think I'm your best friend..."

Suddenly Benazir remembered that he had married Prince Aslan when he was in Halil's arms.

"Let's go inside" Hamza invited Benazir to meet his parents.

"All right...." Benazir dismissed the strange feeling inside him.

Suddenly imagined the night he passed with Prince Aslan. But a moment also imagined how Prince Aslan imprisoned himself when he was arrested with Arga.

Also the eyes of her mother-in-law who looked at her as if filled with hatred.

"No! They're not my family. No one in-law would behave like Queen Safiya, she imprisoned her daughter-in-law. It also turned out that I was a part of his past," Benazir said softly.

"Crying, you've had a very hard day. And now there will be no more fear like what happened inside the palace. You'll live like you used to, like, villagers in general." said Halil.

"Yes, now I'm going in to see my parents..."

Benazir went into the house where his parents were there.

For a moment he seemed to hear the voice of Prince Aslan calling out to him. But when he looked, there was no one behind him but Halil.
