MAYRA WHY?

Haezel got off from the taxi that drove her from the airport to Kak Aileen's house. The atmosphere of the house is quiet because the clock on Haezel's watch only shows at six in the morning. Haezel had indeed boarded the earliest flight because he was looking forward to meeting Mayra soon.

Mayra is starting to welcome Haezel.

Says Aileen and Mami Emily, Mayra feels at home with Aileen and rarely whines or screams hysterically. The woman also rarely cried without cause and more often played with Latisha who has now begun to learn to walk.

Haezel rang the bell beside the door to surprise anyone who would open the door.

Soon, the door was opened from inside by someone.

Mayra looks surprised even Haezel's wife to jump because of the surprise greeting from Haezel earlier.

"May!" Haezel smiled and hugged his wife. But Mayr immediately showed a scared and reluctant facial expression. And the woman just left Haezel.

"Who's coming, May?" Asked Brother Aileen who was coming to the front door.

"Ezel's!" Excited slim Brother Aileen hugged her beloved sister tightly. In contrast to Haezel who was forced to swallow a bitter lump in his throat because Mayra was still afraid of him.

Haezel doesn't understand, why is Mayra afraid of him?

Haezel had never hurt the woman in the least.

"That's coming first?" Asked Brother Aileen who had changed patting Haezel's back.

"I miss Mayra, brother!" Haezel replied, forcing a smile on her lips. Even though Haezel's heart feels bad. The brothers were just about to sit on the living room sofa to continue chatting, when suddenly Mbok Sum shouted from the kitchen.

"May! You why?"

"Mayra why, brother?" Haezel sat down and rushed to the kitchen to see what was going on with Mayra. Even with Aileen who went straight to the kitchen as well.

"Mayra why, Mbok?" Ask Haezel who didn't find Mayra in the kitchen. There was only Mbok Sum who was cleaning up like a vomit mark.

There was a faint sound of Mayra vomiting in the toilet near the kitchen. Haezel rushed to the toilet to check.

"Mayra vomited, Mbok?" Replace Aileen who asked Mbok Sum.

"Yes, Son of Aileen. Mock also does not know why. Maybe Mayra ate wrong," said Mbok Sum guessing.

Aileen went to the toilet to check on Mayra who was still nauseous. Haezel did not seem to dare to rub Mayra's back because she might be worried that the woman would be hysterical or suddenly cry. So it was Aileen who finally took over and rubbed Mayra's back.

"Nausea, May?" Ask Aileen to make sure. Mayra just nodded, then the woman gargled a few times after her nausea had slightly reduced.

"Let's drink some warm water first!" Take Aileen as she guides Mayra out of the toilet, then take the woman to sit on a chair in the dining room. Mbok Sum has come to bring warm tea for Mayra.

"Drink first, May!" Mbok Sum's.

Mayra was just about to drink her tea, as the two female neutrals looked at Haezel who was now watching her.

Mayra did not drink and put her tea cup back on the table. Then Mayra looked around for Aileen's hand and grasped it tightly, while hiding the face on Aileen's shoulder.

"What's wrong?" Aileen asked confusedly.

Haezel who had immediately understood the sign given by Mayra was only able to sigh, then chose to leave the dining room.

"Ezel is going!" Haezel muttered as he stepped towards the back porch.

Mayra had calmed down again and the woman continued sipping her tea.

"Mayra why, Ai?" Ask Emily's mom who just came out of the room. Cliff had also come out of the room while carrying baby Latisha who apparently had woken up.

"Mayra's vomiting, Mi! It seems like a cold" Aileen told Mami Emily and Cliff.

"Who came then?" Replace Cliff who asked.

"Ezel," Aileen replied as she leaned her chin towards the back porch.

"Let's take Mayra to the doctor!" Cliff told Aileen, before the man followed Haezel to the back porch still holding Latisha.

"Still nauseous, May?" Mami Emily asked as she rubbed Mayra's head.

"Little, Mi," replied Mayra softly.

"It's okay! Mami and Aileen will accompany you, okay!" Talk to Mami Emily again.

"Mayra doesn't hurt, Mi!" Mayra looks scared.

"Maybe it's just a cold, Miss Emily. Let's rest at home and not be forced to go to the hospital," said Mbok Sum gave input.

"Let's not sick, Budhe!" Mayra again raved and hid her face on the shoulders of Mbok Sum.

"Yes, May! Already!"

"All right! We're not going to the doctor!" Emily's mother grabbed both of Mayra's shoulders and again persuaded the girl to calm down.

Mayra nodded.

"Now Mayra is eating, yes!" Refer Mami Emily next. Mayra nodded again.

"Sweet, Mi!" Mayra reasoned.

"Cocky queasiness? What can't-don't maagh?" Mami Emily asked confusedly. Unlike Aileen who had just been silent since then like she was thinking about something.

"Aileen, can you call the doctor home?" Mami Emily said to the dreamy Aileen.

"Dad!" Emily's mother patted her eldest daughter's shoulder and Aileen immediately gasped in shock.

"Yes, Mi! What's up?" Aileen asked stuttered.

"You call the doctor to come check on Mayra at home! Mayra doesn't want to eat and says she's nauseous." Mami Emily said a little anxious at the princess who even daydreamed when spoken to.

"Aileen will talk to Ezel first!" Aileen's permission as she headed to the back porch to approach Haezel and Cliff.

"Switches...."

Haezel looked directly at her brother as if he could immediately guess what Aileen was about to say.

"The last time Mayra-"

"Coming moon?" Haezel spliced Aileen's sentence.

"Ezel will buy a testpack" Haezel said as he rose from his seat with a face that looked uninspired.

"No need!" Prevent Aileen fast while holding Haezel's arm.

"I still have it!" Aileen said next. The woman went back inside the house to talk to Mami Emily for a while.

While Haezel only noticed Mayra who was sitting with Mbok Sum while occasionally regretting the warm tea in her cup.

Cliff patted Haezel on the back and tried to calm her sister-in-law down. But instead of feeling calm, Haezel's mind is getting increasingly upset now because suddenly there is one thing that bothers Haezel...

"Mas didn't use safety. He said he'd go outside?"

Mayra has taken Mami Emily to the toilet to urinate while Aileen is seen getting into the room possibly taking a testpack.

Not long after, Aileen returned to the backyard with a testpack and Mayra urine.

"We test first, then we take Mayra to the doctor to make sure that the result is two lines," said Aileen staring alternately at Haezel and Cliff as if asking for approval. He the man nodded faintly, and Aileen immediately dipped the testpack rod into Mayra's urine.

Time slowed down as the three of them waited for the results of the testpack that Aileen had just dipped

A red line is visible. Haezel gulped his saliva with great difficulty, as the second red line came into view as well although it was a little faint. Haezel's heart feels like it's being hit by a big rock right now.
