"Sorry we're late" Haezel said to his high school friends, including Reynold, who gathered this afternoon for a small reunion.

"Cock came along? It's been, huh?" Chirps one of Haezel's friends because Haezel did come with Cheryl this afternoon.

"About that," Haezel scratched her unscratchy crumb and looked at Cheryl as if she had consented to the girl to talk about the status of their relationship that had just become last week.

"Yes! We are now!" Cheryl finally revealed that she was outspoken about the status of her relationship with Haezel. The girl even tightly knitted Ezel's arm as if the two of them were getting drunk on romance right now.

"I'm saying goodbye! There's a sudden need!" Reynold suddenly stood up and stared fiercely at Haezel.

"Reynold why?" Cheryl whispered to Haezel because she was confused.

Reynold, Haezel, and Cheryl were previously best friends at High School. The friendship of the three is so close and familiar, that not infrequently they always spend time together anywhere.

Even after the three graduate High School, their friendship remains well-established. Unbeknownst to Reynold, Haezel and Cheryl share their feelings. It turns out that the two of them have been attracted to each other and after going through various considerations, Haezel and Cheryl finally decided to be together and change status from best friend to girlfriend. It was also beyond Reynolds knowledge.

This afternoon Cheryl and Haezel announced their relationship with their high school friends, as well as with Reynold, whose attitude suddenly changed. Haezel thought Reynolds would be as happy as the rest of his friends when he found out Haezel and Cheryl were together. But it turns out it's not like that. Reynolds is either angry or disappointed.

Doesn't Reynold also put feelings for Cheryl?

"Did Reynolds ever express his feelings for you?" Haezel asked a little whisper in Cheryl's ear who had been sitting nearby.

"Whatchu mean? Me and Reynold have been best friends for a long time and Reynold has never said anything about his feelings for me" Cheryl explained to Haezel.

"That's it, huh?"

"All right, I'm just asking," Haezel held her embrace to Cheryl and then peeked at the top of the girl's head.

Month and year change.

Haezel and Reynold's friendship suddenly became tenuous after Haezel announced her relationship with Cheryl at a reunion. Reynold also seemed to avoid every Haezel invited him to meet. The guy was always busy. Either really busy or just pretending to be busy. Reynolds is like a stranger to Haezel now.

Until the moment Haezel almost finished detective school, bad news about Haezel's career suddenly blew and reached Haezel's ears.

Haezel was immediately hired to start a career in the police, thanks to the first case of uncovering the mastermind behind the persecution that befell Rumi and Ethan. Suddenly rumored, if Haezel could easily get a position because of the insider game.

The insider in question here is of course Cheryl's father who does have a position in the police.

And this news was so good to hear at the reunion. Almost all of Haezel's High School friends talked about it and sneered at Haezel all out. Of course it made Haezel feel depressed.

"Not to think about it, Ezel! They don't know, if you get the job hard-earned and not in an instant way!" Entertain Cheryl tries to provide support for Haezel.

"I'm just confused. Who is the underworked person who has spread this cheap gossip?" Sergeh Haezel is still surrounded by emotions.

"No need to be hanged! All news of this bird will definitely drown by itself," Cheryl said positively thinking.

Haezel just nodded. Cheryl took a drink and Haezel was still sitting in her place, when the man's eyes caught Reynolds sitting not far from Haezel.

Was Reynold eavesdropping on Haezel and Cheryl's conversation?

"Rey!" Call Haezel who's still trying to fix his relationship with Reynold.

Reynold got up from his seat, and walked over to Haezel. Not to say hello, but to say a sentence that was completely unexpected Haezel.

"Don't be a saint if you get the department thanks to the intervention of Cheryl's father, the favorite daughter-in-law!"

Haezel was speechless with the words Reynold had just said. Does that mean the bird that was spreading was Reynold?

Why does Reynold hate Haezel so much now?

"Reynold greeted you earlier?" Cheryl's question jolts Haezel's daydream.

"Eh, yes!"

"Yes!" Haezel replied lying.

"What is your relationship? Rey still greets me a lot and stays friendly when we meet. But it seems, Rey's attitude is a little different to yours" asked Cheryl, who was sitting next to Haezel.

"I don't know either!" Haezel sniffed both of his shoulders.

"Rey always looked at me like I was his enemy" Haezel continued, chuckling.

"Maybe your feelings, Ezel! Rey is a good man and the three of us are best friends a long time ago" Cheryl fondly grabbed Haezel's arm, then leaned her head against Haezel's speechless shoulder.

"Ezel! Have you finished the report?" Asked a colleague of Haezel who immediately made the daydream of the twenty-four-year-old man crumble.

Haezel immediately stomped on his own temple and was a little confused why he suddenly recalled the rupture of his friendship with Reynold. Even now they are both more like enemies than friends.

"It's done!" Haezel thrust the map toward his partner.

"You why? Any issues?" Haezel's colleague asked when he saw Haezel's unusual face.

"Just a little bit of jetlag because I just arrived and have to go straight to the office" Haezel replied.

"deligated report. But now you can go home and sleep" said Haezel's colleague.

"Thank you for your advice. I'll probably sleep here before driving home" Haezel replied with a chuckle. Haezel's colleagues laughed as they walked out of Haezel's room.

Haezel again pinched his temple, as the man's phone on the table vibrated indicating a message had come in.

Haezel opened a message from Brother Aileen which contained a photo of Latisha who was laughing freely while held by Mayra.

Haezel zooms in on photos of Latisha and Mayra while analyzing. It seems like Aileen took the photo secretly because Mayra was not looking at the camera at all, and her position was also sideways.

Haezel held back a laugh before sending a reply message to the older brother.

[It's hard to say thank you for sending Mayra's picture to look at] - Aileen-Aileen

[I didn't ask for it! But thank you my understanding brother. Maybe next time you can ask permission first on Mayra if you want to take a picture so you can look forward] - Haezel-Haezel
