REAL REASON

"Hows it? Found anything?" Ask Randu to Haezel who is still checking messages and calls from Chief's phone.

"There's nothing!" Haezel breathed out in frustration.

"I think there's another communication tool"

"What's hidden by the Chief?" Guess Randu spliced Haezel's sentence.

"The Chief can't be careless and he must have been on guard. It seems like this investigation is just a waste of time!" Haezel began to despair.

"You haven't gotten the rations from Mayra?" Asked Randu who instantly made Haezel frown.

"Why ask that silly question?" Haezel's question didn't understand.

"I only guess because usually you do not give up easily and despair like this" said Randu argued.

"Mayra's condition has been dropping a bit lately and she whines about going on vacation."

"Why don't you take her on vacation?"

"Condisimya is not good! I'm afraid something will happen if I force her to take her on vacation. I'm not the stingy one here" Haezel said.

"Take a staycation in a hotel or villa that is not too far from health facilities then."

"Where is Mayra asking for a vacation?" Ask Randu again.

"To an island. And lately she's been telling me a lot about being a bride in a dream."

"I'm a little confused. What does it mean that Mayra wants to wear a wedding dress again and we have another wedding reception or how," Haezel bercerocos at length on Randu who has been listening since.

"Who is the bride in Mayra's dream?" Tanya Randu interrupted Haezel's story.

"I don't want to make you feel anxious, but in my extended family, the dream of wearing a wedding dress is not a good sign" said Randu who immediately made Haezel's face really turned anxious.

"Not a good sign? That mean it's a bad feeling?" Haezel's question didn't understand.

"Yes, usually the one who gets the dream will fall ill" Randu did not continue his sentence because Haezel's face was already really anxious now.

"But you don't have to believe it right away, Ezel! Mayra is pregnant and I'm sure you and your family must have been monitoring Mayra's condition very well." Said Randu again trying to calm Haezel.

"Yes, we're all keeping a close eye on Mayra. And I also make appointments with the obstetrician more often because Mayra has preeclampsia" explained Haezel, whose eyes still look worried.

"That's been great, Ezel! I'm sure you'll do everything you can for Mayra. And hopefully Mayra and your baby will continue to be given health until Mayra gives birth later," said Randu along with the man's cell phone that rings.

"Amiin!" Mumbled Haezel who immediately guaranteed all the good prayers from Randu.

"I'll pick up the phone for a second!" The permission of Randu and Haezel just nodded. Randu spoke briefly on the phone with someone, before then the otu man came back to Haezel.

"The information about Reynolds you asked for yesterday"

"You got it?" Sela Haezel is impatient.

"Yes!" Sandu opened his phone.

"Reynold Pramana's. The son of a private driver in Mr Bratasena's family. From childhood he was familiar with Arkan Bratasena." Randu paused for a moment his presentation.

"Soulmate is like that." Said Randu again a little joking.

"It has been considered a son by Mr. Bratasena because of his closeness to Arkan until all of Reynold's education, financed by Mr. Bratasena," said Randu continued his search for the origin of Reynolds.

"And I have one interesting photo for you to see" added Randu who immediately made Haezel move from his seat, then approached his best friend. Randu showed a photo of the trial.

"Isn't this..."

"The Arkan trial photo where you skinned all the Arkan ulcers and got the man severely punished."

"Let's see who our special guest is" Randu zoomed in on a photo on his phone screen showing a man in a black jacket wearing a black hat as well. Sitting in the middle row and Haezel was instantly able to recognize him.

"Just right!"

"Reynold came to Arkan's trial and my conclusion was, Reynolds hated you not because you were with Cheryl, but because he felt a grudge against you who had thrown Arkan in prison." Randu began to pull the red thread of all the things he described.

"But maybe Reynold hates me because of my relationship with Cheryl"

"Yes! It was just an extra spice from his ultimate grudge." Sergeah Randu fast.

"That's what it means when Cheryl's Papa was yesterday?"

"Reynold was just riding him to avenge him. Or maybe, Reynold even wanted to make Cheryl as a scapegoat, considering Cheryl who often expressed her hatred for you after the suicide of Mr. Wardhana," said Randu again guessing.

"Have you met Cheryl?" Randu asked next which immediately made Haezel speechless. The darkness of the night he was with Cheryl was back dancing in Haezel's mind.

"I've never seen Cheryl again" Haezel stuttered.

"Cheryl might know about Reynolds plan. We better find the girl and persuade her to testify," said Randu popped an idea that suddenly made Haezel's brain go blank.

As powerful as Haezel tried not to remember about Cheryl but somehow a feeling that Haezel himself did not know her name even often haunt her lately.

"Ezel's!" Randu flicked his finger in front of Haezel's dreamy face.

"Yes!" Haezel replied again.

"Why daydream? You miss your wife?" Temptation of Randu that instantly made Haezel laugh a little.

"It's time to go home" Randu showed his watch to Haezel.

"Can we start looking for Reynolds now?" Haezel asked who was eager to teach a lesson to the man who had planned the rape of Mayra.

"Reynold was not at Mr. Brata's house" Randu told Haezel.

"Maybe in her apartment?" Haezel.

"There's also no word on the whole apartment" Randu explained.

"Reynold certainly knew that his crime had been sniffed. Jadu he had already directly escaped," murmured Haezel in indignation.

"The Chief probably knows," said Randu suddenly.

"It's still not clear the relationship between Chief and Reynold" Haezel is still prejudiced.

"I'm also curious" said Randu, laughing.

The two best friends were really curious about Reynolds and Chief's relationship. But unfortunately, there is no clue about the relationship of Reynold and Mr. Head, except the strange attitude of the Chief.

"We can't put Reynold into a meaningful DPO?" Haezel made sure once again to Randu.

"No arrest warrant was issued. Means I can't." Replied Randu while shaking his head.

"I'll look for it myself then" Haezel broke up muttering.

"Can I come looking?" Tanya Randu later.

"Recover your legs first, man!" Haezel patted Randu on the back, before the man took care of his desk, then headed home to hug Mayra.

Yep!

Haezel missed his wife very much.
