Chapter 26: Musem Conference in Bandung

“This is his account?“ Rina shows her phone featuring Ryzel's account.

Looking at Rina's phone screen, Ryzel nodded her head. “Followers still little.“

“Lumayan much, really. Considering you were only active a few days ago, not even a week.“ said Rina with a smile and a little refute Ryzel's words. “Don't be discouraged, I'm sure you will definitely become a great streamer in the future later.“

Rani nodded as she raised her phone to take a photo.

“No need, you can come with me live if you don't mind appearing in the live broadcast.“

These twin women glanced at each other, then they nodded at each other.

Ryzel explains a little about what is inside the Museum Building of the Asian-African Conference, Ryzel does not know much about the history of the occurrence of the event of this famous conference because he was in school not too good in history lessons even though he was a student majoring in IPS.

When Ryzel explains a little about the museum, he is watched by Rina and Rani. They were both surprised by Ryzel's historical knowledge, they just didn't remember the history of the Asian-African Conference.

Just as Ryzel was giving a little knowledge to his audience, a man in black uniform came to him.

Educators can also be said as guides who have deep knowledge about this place.

After that, Ryzel became acquainted with this man named Faisal, Rina and Rani were acquainted with the educator of this one.

There are many flags from various countries behind the seats that are lined to the side, not far in front of the seat there is a statue of our first president, namely Mr. President Ir. Soekarno who stood in the middle of a speech.

The three of them followed Faisal's instructions, they confirmed his arrival in this museum according to the schedule they made and listed on the registration form.

Afterwards, Faisal took the three of them to see some documentary photos of various important events, namely photos of the events of the Tugu Meeting, Colombo Conference, Bogor Conference, and the Asia-Africa Conference in 1955.

“This meeting also formulates the schedule or agenda, the countries to be invited, and the purpose of the Asian-African Conference. In essence, with this conference, the Asia-Africa Conference was realized and implemented well.“

Faisal clearly and eloquently explained the history of the photo.

Continuing back to the inside of the museum, Faisal showed me a memorial, some antique objects, such as a typewriter, a camera, even the original footage from President Ir. Sukarno speaking at the Asian-African Conference.

There are many pictures and photos that reflect events that happened in ancient times. Faisal mentioned that the building is well maintained, nothing has been changed, everything is the same as the appearance of the museum building when used for conferences.

Parts of the building, such as floors, poles or pillars, rooms, furniture, and ceilings in the building are not changed, very well maintained.

After hearing the recording of the original speech, they were taken by Faisal to a library room that housed many rare books and collections, there is a special room that stores the manuscripts and files that have been used in the conference at that time.

Children can read here because this library provides books for children to read, adults are also provided with books to read.

Unfortunately, the three of them could not see how the conference was going on at that time, because the Audiovisual Room was being closed because their time came too late,

Even many people have left because time has shown where the museum will close.

“Musem was originally named Societeit Concordia, where wealthy figures or European elites visited, especially from the Dutch, this place was used as a place for entertainment music performances, plays, dances, and parties.

“Then the building was renovated and repaired. In the era of Japanese colonization the name was changed to 'Dai Toa Kaman' and then changed its name again to Gedung Merdeka.“

Ryzel likes to listen to Faisal's explanation, it is very dense and short, but the point remains. Nonetheless, Faisal sometimes re-explained it with a very comprehensive explanation.

Looking around, Rina and Rani only listened a little, they were more focused with the 3-dimensional objects shown by Faisal.

Before the visit ended, Ryzel and the twins walked into a hallway to the VIP Room, on the left and right side of the aisle there were flags from various countries, a total of 109 flags of many countries.

From there they came out of the museum and ended the trip at the Museum of the Asian-African Conference which was very impressive, not forgetting they were grateful to Faisal who helped them.

Ryzel also ended the video after leaving the museum, it has been more than 2 hours Ryzel invites 29,000 people around the museum.

“Anu, where are you going?“ Rina asked a little up.

“It seems that I am going to a place to eat, I forgot not to have lunch,”Ryzel replied and remembered himself not having lunch after getting out of Kiaracondong Station.

“I know a good place to eat near this area, would you like me to drop off?“ Rina volunteered to drive Ryzel to a diner.
