119. What a tiring day

Reta wakes up from her sleep. He ran downstairs to his father's study. Considering it's morning, Melvin's definitely not awake yet. Bi Nah and Sarah saw Reta running down the stairs. "What's wrong?" ask Sarah.

Reta did not answer the mother's question. His mind was busy thinking about his brother. His hand opened the door of the workroom. But inside it looks lonely. 'Did Melvin wake up, thank God he was awake. Can be terrible if anyone knows' muttered Reta in the heart.

Sarah walked over to Reta. "Darling what's wrong? Are you looking for your father?" ask Sarah. "That's why" Reta replied smilingly.

"Let's have breakfast first" Sarah took along while holding Reta's hand. "Since yesterday afternoon I haven't been home until now. Mother does not know where your father is" explained Sarah.

Reta sat next to her mother. Sarah's got rice and side dishes for Reta. "What time did you come last night, you don't know?" ask Sarah again. "I came to you when you were sleeping" Reta replied.

"Bi get Dinka for breakfast" Sarah asked. "Well mistress" replied bi Nah.

Bi Nah knocked on Dinka and Melvin's room door. But there was no answer from within. Because there is no answer bi Nah back downstairs.

"Mr Melvin and miss don't seem to wake up yet" said bi Nah. After breakfast, Reta goes to find Bobby who has not returned home. "My car is not home yet Bobby has not come home" said Reta himself.

After searching for Bobby, Reta returns home. Bobby's car is parked in the house. "That's the car" said Reta herself. But there are a lot of cars parked in the house. 'What's this is why there are so many cars here, what are all of Reta's inner father's guests.

The steps are closer to the neatly lined car. In the living room there were many people. They were dressed neatly wearing suits. There are also women who wear modern kebaya.

There was one of the young men who caught Reta's attention. His childhood playmates also came. Both of his parents also sat sweetly among the guests. "This is the child who is waiting for has come" said Arya. Reta who did not know what business was immediately pulled by Arya to sit down.

"Sadly this is Daniel's parents coming to propose to you" the explanation from Arya made Reta gawk and glared. "I mean dad?" ask Reta.

"Sorry before our arrival is too impromptu this so make Mr. Tama and family must be shocked" said Daniel's father. "Indeed we were a little surprised but we understood it" Arya said.

Reta tugged at her father's shirt. "Father Reta does not want to" said Reta lirih. Sarah knows her daughter's relationship with Bobby but because things are still crowded she can't talk about it with Arya.

'Pantes Bobby doesn't have much he knows about this and goes straight home, and he must be really angry right now' Inner Reta. Dinka and Melvin join Daniel's family.

"Sorry before this was too impromptu for our family and my sister must have been very surprised by the arrival of this Charles family" Melvin took over the conversation. "And Reta is still in college so not ready to get married" continued Melvin.

"They did come here impromptu but father and sir Charles had planned it from far away" explained Arya. Melvin's not gonna give up. He knew that his father was planning to match Reta. "Then the decision is on the Reta, how is the deck?" ask Melvin while throwing the code at Reta to refuse.

"I actually..." Reta said but was immediately cut by Arya. "I'm very grateful to you for proposing to my son, I'm happy to accept this proposal" Arya said. Sarah pinched her husband's body. He can't say anything at all.

"How about we have our engagement a week from now?" ask Charles Daniel's father. "Good better sooner" Arya replied. The face of Daniel's face was shining. Unlike Reta who is very angry with her father.

Daniel's family bade. Reta enters the room while slamming the door. "Dad what the fuck? When Alfan's brother's birthday is now Reta" Melvin blocks his father's way into the house.

"And only the engagement was the wedding was still a long time not planned" Arya replied lightly. "Reta's father is still in college why I told him to get engaged and Reta already has her own partner" Melvin said.

"Dad!" call Melvin while yelling. He went straight to Reta's room to take her away. "Vin has you again emotions don't do this" Dinka tries to get in the way. "It's a shame that I won't let Reta be betrothed by my father" Melvin said.

"Reta open this door brother" Melvin knocks on Reta's room door. The tears of Reta had already flooded his face. "So, I don't want to be engaged to the same person, I just love Bobby brother" explained Reta while wiping her tears.

"You're calm as long as there's a big brother here you won't be able to get engaged to other people" Melvin hugged his foster sister. Dinka cries to see the state of Reta. There was noise in the family room.

"Dad you can't take decisions unilaterally like this without talking to the kids first. Do you think Reta's getting engaged to Daniel? He won't want well you don't force our girls like this" Sarah explained. "This mother has become the decision of the father" said Arya quickly.

Sarah has no idea about Alfan being beaten by Arya. Alfan ran away and Sarah didn't know how to. "Had my mother rested my father wanted to go somewhere first" Arya kissed his wife's forehead.

Seeing the father's departure, Melvin takes Reta away from home.
