Chapter 35
"There are so many of you and none of you have managed to stop them? No one fought back? Did you just sit and watch them destroy the place?" Seeing his men standing there, Michael was furious. "Did I hire you for nothing?"
"Young Master Wilson, it's not that we didn't fight or stop them, it's because we didn't dare to fight!" The manager doesn't know if to laugh or cry. "Not Jack did this. That's Miss Tanya Drake's men."
"Ask Drake?" Michael gulped when he heard that name. "That girl. Why did he come here and destroy our place?"
"Ah, she passed our restaurant, thought it looked good, and wanted to go in for a meal. After learning what happened, he defended them and said we should not blackmail them. After that, he ruined the place! the important thing is he let Jack and the others go without paying them. He also warned us not to bother them anymore!" The manager sighed. "In the end, Jack and Miss Taylor owe Tanya a favor. Before Miss Taylor left, she wanted me to tell you that you were not the reason they didn't have to pay because Miss Tanya let them miss the bill. So...”
"Damn!" Michael angrily stomped his feet. What does Selena mean by that? That's obvious. He told her to say goodbye to tonight's date. "I lost what I just got!"
Raging, Michael sat on the floor. He is not at peace. How fortunate. She almost succeeded but ended up meeting the nosy Miss Tanya.
…
"Thanks to Miss Tanya's kindness, we must vent our anger today!" Hand carrying a few bottles of wine, Fiona said that with a smile. Jack and Selena's hands were also preoccupied with several bottles.
"Since the last time, I heard that Miss Tanya has a good personality. There was an old man who accidentally scratched his car but given his age, he didn't let that person pay a dime."
"Not only is she kind, but Miss Tanya is also very pretty. He deserves to be rich!" Andrew was filled with strong emotions.
"You're right. He's very rich. Unlike us, we can barely eat out, but we can barely leave!" Fiona smiled, unintentionally glancing at Jack who was beside her. His expression immediately turned cold. "It's all someone's fault for acting like a rich man when he doesn't have money. If we have money, do we have to suffer this kind of treatment?"
Joan was not happy to hear that. Fiona used to make a lot of sarcastic comments before Jack came back. However, he could hold it back then. Now that Fiona was criticizing her son in front of her, she couldn't help herself anymore. She said, "My son's mother-in-law, you can't say your words like that. You can't blame Jack for this, can you? How is it possible that eating will cost four million? Obviously that guy is blackmailing us. No matter how rich we are, we shouldn't have to pay four million, right?"
"You put it in such a way as if Jack would pay if it was 400,000!" Fiona smiled in disdain.
"If they don't blackmail me, I'll pay 400,000 to eat." Jack replied calmly.
