26: Mysha and Anastasia

“Mysha.. Mysha..” someone called Mysha gently.

“Conscious, I don't have much time.” the voice re-awakened him. Made Mysha unwillingly open her eyes.

Mysha noticed the figure that woke her up. A pale-skinned beautiful girl with long blonde white hair dangled adorning her body. His body was slender and his lips were red as blushing as apples.

“You.. Anastasia?” Mysha gave it a proper answer. Of course, who else is a beautiful woman who has characteristics like her. Not to mention, lately his life is filled with characters from ‘The Dark Prince.’

“Iya, it's me.” the girl in front of him smiled small. Mysha could see the sadness mixed with the relief from the look on her face.

“But, where am I?” Mysha looked around to find the answer, but, she found nothing. Only an empty space surrounded by white light.

“You are in a safe place. No need to worry.” Anastasia explained.

“Hmm..” with a confused facial expression, Mysha tried to believe Anastasia's words.

“There is something I must tell you. It concerns Egon and Frederick,” Anastasia put on a serious face.

Looking at Anastasia's trembling hand, Mysha realized that there would currently be important information that made her have to be vigilant. There will be something going on between them.

He put his ears on to listen to Anastasia further.

And sure enough, Anastasia explained to Mysha about her life, as well as about Egon and Frederick.

The moment of how Anastasia loved Egon in their first life.

When Egon betrays him and throws him away in his second life.

And when Frederick reached out his hand to bring him out of despair.

At the age of fourteen, the King told him to meet Egon in his room. As soon as he met Egon, he saw that Egon was no longer the same person. There was only hatred he could find in the look in his eyes.

He did not want Frederick to lead the country given the bloodshed of his own family. Anastasia had seen enough of Frederick being tormented when she could do nothing to help Egon in the town square.

Anastasia proposes to send herself and Frederick to a new life, though she will lose all her magic power.

With a heavy heart, Egon agreed.

What they don't know is, the magic power that should no longer exist in Frederick, suddenly appears and explodes when Egon and Anastasia use magic to send both souls to a new place.

The magic blast made Anastasia's soul unable to enter Mysha's body. His soul could only falter watching Frederick like a surveillance camera.

Shortly after, Frederick's memory also returned instantly like lightning striking. His mentality got worse. Anastasia, who could only see it all, cried. He hoped to withdraw his request to Egon to atone for his sin. Unfortunately, his request was not granted. He could only continue to walk in the face of his destiny.

Then, Anastasia became aware of one thing.

Frederick's unstable condition turned out to be a gap for him to enter his subconscious. Unfortunately, even though he managed to meet in Frederick's dream, they could not talk to each other.

Even so, his efforts were not in vain. Miraculously, the encounter made Frederick's body stabilize bit by bit. Frederick begins to accept the fact that his life is not the first time and his hatred for Egon begins to grow.

Every time he remembered the figure of Egon holding a sword, preparing to slash his head, he cursed Egon many times. If he was given one chance, it was like he was giving back all the pain he had received to Egon.

After a few years, Anastasia felt Egon's energy coming to the world where Frederick was. He could immediately guess that the Egon energy that appeared was not just his energy. He knew his body must be somewhere.

And it turns out the guess is right. Egon appeared in his world and where he appeared it was, next to the body that should belong to him.

He did not know the reason why Egon could suddenly appear, but, given how Frederick's magic had always suddenly functioned without his master's consciousness, he believed, that, it was Frederick's vengeance that forced Egon's body there.

Understanding the excitement that would occur, Anastasia immediately tried to contact Egon in the same way as Frederick. And again, it's not easy.

But, of course Anastasia did not give up just like that. After several attempts, he managed to enter his dream when Egon's body began to weaken.

Yes, Egon's body is weakened.

Unlike Frederick who was reborn with a new body, Egon came forcibly with his original body. The world they were in now, rejected Egon's body that was not from that world. As a result, little by little, his body was getting weaker due to rejection.

Anastasia only realized it when she finished contacting Egon. Though he himself told Egon not to get close to his new body so that Mysha could be with Frederick. But, it seemed like the only way was to ask Mysha for help. Because he was worried that if he contacted Egon again, Egon's body would not be able to receive Anastasia's energy.

“So, you understand right? Egon has to get out of there. Even if he could, he would have to go back to his time so that his body could recover with the rest of the energy he had,” explained Anastasia.

Mysha's face turned pale after hearing all of Anastasia's explanations. He does not believe that he and Anastasia, once were one.

“How can I restore Egon?” Mysha held back her shattered feelings.

“Magic Frederick,” answers. “Among the three of us, Frederick had the most powerful magic power, only he didn't realize it, you had to help convince him that he could send Egon back,”.

“But why? Don't you hate Egon?” Ask Mysha back.

“I hate him, but I want Frederick to live without having to take revenge on Egon by hurting him. His life will be increasingly uneasy.” Anastasia answered him with a forced smile.

Mysha nodded in agreement. That was the thing he thought about when he read the novel about Egon taking revenge on the king by killing him and his children.

“Then, I'll meet him now,”

“Iya, hurry.”
