THE MYSTERY OF THE OLD TREE

THE MYSTERY OF THE OLD TREE
Love Dew

Luna was a little sorry because the pants she was wearing were a bit oversized so it looked more contained and envious of other girls who wore tight clothes fitting with the curves of her body and short jeans with shoes and the hair shape is unraveled like a Korean artist. Well-favoured. Yeah, they look pretty. Luna felt like she was in Korea, covered in snow, cold air and a handsome guy. Luna remembered Gilang, her beloved man who gave her a million inspirations and close friends. The humorous, tall-eyed, slender-looking guy with his heart-stirring soft voice. Seven years Luna harbored a love that never returned. Until the time is right on Gilang's birthday, Luna was introduced to the women of Gilang pujaan. A perfect woman, tall, straight long hair unravels with a feminine appearance like a princess. The smile that Luna showed was a form of deep love for Gilang. Luna's heart was broken, Luna cried and wanted to go for a moment forgetting lara. Fall in love, wither before it develops. Luna wanted to shout freely letting out the words of restrained love. And Luna chose Bromo as a place to vent words that make tightness in the chest.

And as soon as he realized, the weather was cold even he shivered, then grateful with oversized pants, oversized jackets, scarves, gloves and skulls he wore. Sometimes excessive thoughts mess things up, good and bad no one knows, just satisfied with what they have. Inwardly, Luna chuckled at the girls coldly scrambling scarves to the winter accessories supply salesman. His mind is indeed sometimes out of control, briefly feel alienated, soon feel winning and feel the most important. I don't know, he himself was still confused as to what he wanted. His phone vibrated the sign of incoming messages.

From Gilang: Where? Hang out yuk?

Luna simply read the message without replying. Then followed by the ringing of the connecting tone, Gilang called. Luna let her phone sway.

The tour group to Bromo who brought Luna was already in the parking lot, just waiting a few hours to Bukit Tengger and will change with a smaller vehicle. Around them darkened, Luna glanced at the watch that showed at two in the morning. They waited anxiously for the cold in the parking lot, waiting for the car that would take them to Tengger Hill. They started talking to each other with their mouths letting out steam, laughing and sharing stories. Luna sumringah's smile, this was the thing she had been waiting for the most in her life. His feet kept twitching trying to forget what was cold yet his body was still shivering. “Flag, mamih..” the whining of the little boy kept Luna entertained. His name was Carol and his sister was Karin. The boy approached Luna and gave her a packet of candy that read ‘good mood’ had once thought of what Luna's child would look like. Ah, again his mind worked too far and by itself.

“Thank you Carol” said Luna. The short-haired sweet boy smiled. The blond, long unraveling girls were busy taking pictures of themselves.

“Sama-sama Brother,” replied Carol. Luna immediately ate the candy, enjoying it while staring at Carol who ran over to her mother. Carol looked back at Luna with a smile Carol pointed her index finger at Luna. Spontaneously Luna waved her hand. Suddenly his face was tense and embarrassed because the one who returned the wave of his hand was a man of medium stature, flapy hair, neat, and sunglasses. Looking cool, Luna became misbehaved. His stomach felt bloated and as if many animals were dancing inside his stomach. Luna turned her face for a moment then looked at the man again, but Carol and Karin were joking. Her... Luna exhaled and laughed to herself. Yeah, it looks like Gilang.

“Eh sorry yes!” said the blond haired girls who suddenly sat next to Luna.

“Ya, please,” replied Luna.

“Hah, may we meet a handsome guy or a treasure yes,” they said with a laugh. Luna shook her head. They looked at Luna cynically, immediately Luna stood up and rubbed her hands together.  They laughed again, this time laughing at Luna who felt cold. Luna's face was a little unsightly, as if saying “problems for lo!” But, never mind, Luna ignored him.

Not long after, the car came to take them to Bukit Tengger. They are divided into several groups in order to leave all. A sense of excitement, can not wait to see the beauty of nature. Luna wants to run away from the problems of the world, which ensnare her day by day. Throughout the day, after sunrise until dusk picks up and the sun sinks replaced with a night that greeted the moon and stars. Sometimes the night is not starry, gloomy not glowing. Sometimes Luna still believes in the light that will give light but sometimes the dark wins all ambition.

The car is traveling at medium speed, the air that infiltrates through the car window glass makes Luna's entire body feel frozen. The uphill and winding road shook his stomach and almost became nauseous. Fortunately his mind saved him by drifting away imagining the thing he wanted to bring to the top of Bromo. Luna was sitting at the front of the driver, she looked around and looked back.

Quickly his gaze was pulled forward, the man who returned the wave of his hand, who spoke to Carol at this time was both in the same car. His heart beat faster and his eyes sparkled. Luna looked at Gilang on the figure of the man. Immediately Luna rubbed her two eyeballs, a sense of it always overshadowed her. Luna wants to be a better person, everyone can do and say it, it's just that Luna wants to set foot on the top of Bromo receive a beautiful gift from nature that can only be felt when Luna stands there. And there's something else, it's about faith in the heart. Luna wanted to shout freely on the mountain.

After approximately two hours of travel, they arrived at Tengger Hill at dawn. Landrover cars are parked, which will take them to the sea of sand before climbing the top of Bromo after dawn. Many people had gathered to face the hill waiting for the giant of the day to appear. It feels like being in the refrigerator, drinking coffee feels like drinking ordinary water. And the one that later appeared, all were astonished and Luna herself was amazed as she said wow! Luna smiled broadly as she stared at the rising sun with teary eyes. He was getting closer to what he was waiting for.

“That's so beautiful huh?” said someone who was behind Luna. Luna looked over and rubbed her eyes.

“I..ya.” reply Luna. The man again, this time their distance was very close.

“I Rangga, her sister Carol,” he said.

“O... I Luna.”

“What brings you want to be here?” Luna was silent for a moment. Even his voice resembled Gilang.

Rangga laughed lightly then nodded, then Carol called Rangga asking to be photographed. Everyone was busy with his camera while Luna was busy with her own thoughts. “Women!” whispered Luna.

Staring at the beautiful sun rising out of the contest was like looking at yourself who was born again from the stains of darkness, slowly getting brighter, and in the end dim again. The silence was solved with camera noises from the amazed tourists. This beauty is not over, after being satisfied to take pictures of Landrover cars carrying Luna and others to the sea of sand. On the way the car driver told me that usually around the month of ten there is an annual kasada festival. At the festival, the Tengger tribe came to Bromo to throw offerings consisting of vegetables, chicken, and money into the crater of the volcano. Curiosity rages on with Luna's fiery eyes setting up a pocket camera. The downhill road sharply held his breath and his legs felt cramping, the driver was desperate because he was accustomed to irregular traffic conditions.

Luna was unable to say anything, just a light feeling of pleasure like shouting removed the burden. The sea of sand is wide, looks amazing when the sun shines its rays in the morning. Amazing, his eyes are alive. Luna ran as hard as she could to enjoy the beauty of nature that she could not get anywhere. Behind him, a towering mountain that stood firmly with green grass, Luna danced and shouted no matter what people thought. His breathing began to tight due to the air that was too cold and sand dust flying. Soon he realized that he had to save manpower to climb, climbing the stairs to the top of Bromo.

Sunrise, sea of sand, horse riding, and a cup of warm drinks may be one of the beauty of enjoying life. Luna's eyes stared up at the stairs that would take her at the top of Bromo. Luna swung her steps step by step to reach the last 250 steps up there. In the middle of the journey it feels like giving up, his breath has been stung and almost finished. Luna paused for a moment to draw and exhale. Standing staring around filled with sea of sand and Luna seemed to be above the clouds. Luna shed tears, until this is where she should stop? Only in the middle, who does not know the direction of the destination. Even down there are still many who struggle to reach the top. The tourists with cypress faces, tourists who bathed in sweat and when looking up they were excited without complaining stared at the destination. Luna swept her tears, now or never. As with life, Luna will not be meaningful if she herself does not know the direction of her life goals. Just floating and finally regretting and all that siasia. With determination and effort everything that is impossible becomes possible.

“Let me help?” Rangga suddenly appeared extending his hand. Luna just looked at him without saying anything with a still stingy breath.

“Wei, please?” said Rangga again. Luna grabbed Rangga's hand. Continue half the journey that is still pending.

That spirit reappeared at the moments of his helplessness. Luna was grateful to still be given the opportunity to choose, her steps forward undaunted although the more her breath narrows. And finally Luna reached the top. After the struggle he doubted. His pants are filled with dust that sticks and a mask that is worth throwing away. Fuuhh..like a person who had just found hope, Luna looked at the vast blue sky, which spread out, there his hope is always hung and in his heart Luna is always determined and with steps and beliefs Luna believes can make it happen. And what do you want to say after you get to the top of Bromo hey girl? Luna smiled with excitement, forgetting all the weary whack, all the burdens carried, all the delusions that leaned on. The Luna who knew her heart was peaceful, the morning sun always gave hope to life and people who lost their way or who were treading the trail of life. Give selflessly, for we shall not lose anything, like the sun.

Luna stood up straight, looking down at the sight of the blonde girl riding a horse and back to the car park had no chance to stand on foot at the top of Bromo. Then Luna looked into the crater of Bromo and said in her heart.

“Hopefully at the top of this Bromo I found a light that will guide me to show the meaning of my presence.”

Luna turned around and opened her eyes, right in front of her Rangga smiled and waved her hand.

“Halo Kak,” shouted Carol and Karin who were right behind Rangga.

“Hai...,” reply Luna with red met face.

“Come we shout together,” invite Rangga. Luna nodded.

“Gilaaaaaaaaaaaang..” shouted Luna.

“Lunaaaaaaaaaaa..” shouted Rangga.

They looked at each other and then chuckled together. When one's hope is lost, hope will appear in an unexpected place. Luna replied to Gilang's message. “I was at the top of Bromo as I wanted.”

And Luna smiled proudly, that life should continue to move following the spin of the wheel and time. Only time will make everything okay.
