The Master's Lecture Note
Chapter 2 Interdorm

We all international students are given the facility to occupy the international dormitory located adjacent to the sport complex and lake reservior, PSU has 11 dormitories from the standard to the special, which is very important, the difference is the facilities provided such as the bathroom for the standard size of the bathroom outside, for the special bathroom inside, we occupy the 14th and 15th floors, respectively, males occupy dormitory 11 and females occupy dormitory 10.

Dorm international consists of 15 floors just like the female dorm, the facilities here are quite complete starting from the gym on the 8th floor, musholla for Muslims on the 2nd floor, seven eleven and a food vendor on the ground floor plus a cozy study, from the interdorm we can see the beautiful hills and lakes in front of it because in each room has a balcony to look out which can also be used to dry clothes.

In addition, there is also close to the sport complex where there are many sports venues that we can use ranging from swimming, basketball, futsal, tennis, badminton, etc, soccer and petanque iron ball game on the sand that we originally thought of as a traditional Thai game turned out to be from France and has been included in sea games.

Indonesian students who are in PSU are not only faculty of nursing but also spread in other majors, such as faculty of environmental management, faculty of science, faculty of pharmacy, etc, faculty of economics and others, but indeed the most of the faculty of nursing both the number of master and PhD students for the origin of the students themselves is also almost evenly distributed from all over Indonesia because PSU has a quota of 100 scholarships each year.

They all depart using either scholarships from the ministry of ristek and education (Dikti), local government scholarships or the same as our TEH-AC, etc, and they all live on average in the interdorm even though there are some students who live outside the interdorm because the cost in the interdorm is quite expensive which is 2000 baht per month, specifically our TEH-AC scholarship is directly deducted from our monthly fee because we get 10,000 baht per month, 2000 baht or 800,000 rupiah is quite expensive because it still does not include electricity and water costs, with bed and fan facilities. For nursing for women there is also a nursing dorm prepared for nursing students and an alternative if not living in the interdorm, many PhD mothers choose to live there and Mbak Koming also lives there because he does not get a scholarship.

If you want to be cheaper can also live outside the campus there are several rented and boarding places that are close to the campus gate called PS House or Sinton, a type of boarding house that is not too expensive. In my interdorm roommate is Pras while Michael is with Mas Saiful.

The journey is really winding because from a small town polewali rail he has no experience abroad even to Jakarta even though he never. He had told me that the struggle was quite heavy up to Songkla, he said, short story after graduating the ners profession and was declared accepted at FON PSUD he only had 10 days to enter the initial semester college even though the announcement of the scholarship is still not out, even if it has come out there are actually still rules of scholarship for prospective overseas lecturers after graduation must complete the file, and follow the briefing and take care of the completeness of the Secretary of State Agreement or SP Setneg for overseas service travel because Bang Ian applied for a scholarship from Ristekdikti, Indonesia, but because the academic schedule at PSU has started first so he prioritizes leaving for Thailand at his own expense. Travel alone from Jakarta to Singapore, Thailand continued to live only capitalize information from the internet and communication via email with the campus. Because inexperienced he forgot to prepare the currency of the intended country so that he had starved in Singapore because of long transit time he finally drank airport faucet water to prop up the stomach.

The closeness of Bang Ian to produce results, he was declared to pass the scholarship dikti and then say goodbye to Ajarn Wongchan because he was the master program in charge of international student FON PSU, Bang Ian said goodbye to the scholarship and Ajarn only gave 1 week, the scholarship management started from the debriefing in Surabaya for two days, because there is no direct flight to Surabaya from Hat Yai he took the flight to Bangkok first then to Surabaya the next day.

Arriving in Surabaya Bang Ian was confused to find a place to stay because the money he had been eating was mediocre he thought after the debriefing and signature of the contract of affairs had been completed it was not, he had to take care of a healthy certificate and letter of the cost of tuition in Jakarta by having to ask for a letter of introduction from the place of origin of west sulawesi for one day and then back again to Jakarta through Makassar. Before he reached Jakarta he had contacted his friend who was there but when he arrived and he called there was no reply and answer from him so he went straight to the office of dikti, arriving there it turns out the file is still not finished alias stacked so he had to wait when the time is three days left. Finally Bang Ian waited at dikti by searching and booking cheap lodging for three days in the hope that the time was enough to complete his file and it turned out that in two days the file was completed because he was actively asking from morning until afternoon even on the second day he was pegged in front of the office of dikti, but all that he lived with steadfastness and finally Bang Ian could take care of his scholarship and return to Hat Yai.

Today I got inspiration from Bang Ian that getting a scholarship is not easy to take time and struggle that is not small.
