“What the hell is this, Cin?!” Toni asked in a high tone until everyone ignored their respective meatball bowls, and was busy watching.
Susi stood straight beside Bang Ipul with her left hand holding an empty bowl to guard if violence was needed. Bang Ipul who looked gallant while observing the arrest, was now watching nervously. Apparently, the issue of love quarrels is not part of the intel learning module.
After gathering all the courage, Cindy finally replied, “This is the real reason I asked to break up.”
Tama who was worried that Cindy would not cooperate, immediately breathed a sigh of relief. Dhita squinted at Cindy and shook her head in disbelief.
“You're more choosy than me?” dhita asked in a dismissive tone. The words made Cindy drown in a sea of regret. If Cindy had known today that she would be compared to a beautiful high-class woman wearing an expensive black dress, she would not have worn just jeans and a shirt.
“She is much better than you who are unfaithful. Loyalty is expensive. That cheap one is you.” Tama's answer surprisingly invited a standing ovation from Bang Ipul.
When he realized that only he was clapping, the big tall meatball brother clasped his hands together, and bowed to apologize for ruining the situation. The attention of the audience returned to the main cast.
“Fetish? But he cheated on me...mmhhh...mmhh Toni's rebuttal was cut off because her mouth was smothered by Susi from behind. With all her strength, Susi pulls Toni up and takes her away from the stage.
“Campaign.” Dhita grinned, and gave a sharp look towards Tama. “Now we are even. Please live with a woman like her and hate your family. Just be careful if you still say we are dating Bu Riyanti.”
The long-haired woman then walked towards Tama's car to pick up the phone before going away. The meatball customers who realize that the show is over, go back to life and devour each meatball. Bang Ipul is also again busy with walkie talkies while observing the two people left at a special table.
“My name is Tama.” The man with the drizzly makeup started the conversation with two hands folded over his chest.
“I Cindy.” The woman with shoulder-length hair reached out to show Indonesian hospitality.
Tama frowned as if analyzing the meaning of Cindy's helping hand. After a brief consideration, he let his right hand welcome and clasped the tiny hand that had been idle. His grasp was indeed short-lived, but it created a speck of happiness light in Cindy's heart.
“500 million, enough?” Tama asked without stale ado after removing the grasp.
Under ordinary circumstances, Cindy would feel intimidated by the appearance of a person like Tama and her strange questions. He might even think that his brain is not there because he does not understand the meaning of Tama's question. Surprisingly, Cindy actually felt confident near the man she had just met.
Therefore, he chose to ignore the question that had just been thrown, and instead pulled a bowl of meatballs in front of him. Cindy stared at the spoon and fork beside Tama. His hand was ready to grab, but lost to the swiftness of Tama's hand who immediately took a spoon and fork and wiped it with a tissue.
The hand covered in the black shirt then placed the cutlery Cindy was looking for in her bowl. Cindy wondered at heart about the connection of the 500 million question with the newly acquired sweet behavior.
After that, the newly broken woman ate in silence, while Tama consistently looked at her expressionlessly. So quiet were the two of them, until Cindy realized there was a mysterious voice that several times sounded. Cindy tried to ignore it and turn her attention to the Bang Ipul conversation that was busy serving customers.
“Bang Ipul, he said can not smoke here, yes?” ask a man in his 30s. His right hand clamped down on a cigarette that had not been lit. The question was only answered with a nod of Bang Ipul who was busy preparing the order.
The eyes of the meatball brother glanced at the cigarette in the hands of his interlocutor, and began to make hoarse sounds, “There is, Mas.”
The information made a wide smile appear on the questioner's face, but ended up frowning because of the connection. “Area don't smoke around here. Smoking area in each home.”
Cindy chuckled at Bang Ipul's reply, but hurriedly put on an expressionless face while subconsciously still being stared at by Tama.
“500 million to be my girlfriend. I promise I'll treat you well. Okay?” Tama reached out to Cindy as if to close the deal with the client. Cindy scrunched her forehead and pushed Tama's hand to resist.
This was the most distant thing he had ever done with anyone else. Never refuse a helping hand, he almost never says no when asked for something. Cindy raised her index finger for Tama to wait. His right hand opened the bag and was busy looking for something. After what he found, Cindy put a pack of playing cards in the middle of the table.
“You want to play gambling?” Tama's gaze switched briefly to playing cards, but was immediately returned to Cindy. Cindy shakes.
“There are 52 cards in 1 pack. I take 26, and you keep the rest. Everyone is entitled to use 1 card for 1 request. If anyone refuses the request, the agreement automatically cancels.”
The 26-year-old woman explained while opening a playing card box and removing 26 cards. His hand pushes the crib containing the rest of the cards on Tama, but is immediately pushed back by Tama.
“Don't get greedy. I know your cunning plan. You want to ask for 500 million 26 times, right?” The 29-year-old man's question made Cindy frown.
“Barrows asking for money. Satisfied?”
Cindy pushed back the playing card box on Tama. The mind of the CEO of the food-producing company began to be filled with various scenarios if the commoners in front of him were planning a scam. Although worried, he must accept the fact that Cindy's presence is important to make Dhita angry.
“OK. I agree to an additional condition: no falling in love. How?” Tama holds a playing card box and raises her eyebrows to ask, while challenging Cindy. Cindy nodded, and Tama immediately took out a playing card box to take out one card.
“You still hear that sound?” Tama clamped the black joker card with her thumb and index finger. What a suitable card to laugh at the crazy events between the two of them.
“You also heard that strange sound?” Cindy was relieved because it turned out that the voice was not just her delusion. Tama nodded and brought herself closer.
“You want to meet the source of that sound?”
