“Dhita? Have you come home from America?” tanya Tama was shocked. Behind Dhita, there was Ferdinand waving at Cindy.
Tama's boyfriend replied with a short wave and immediately put his hand back on the table. Cindy obviously knew that Tama didn't like her interacting with Ferdinand much.
Tama will only stand to talk further with Dhita, but her ex-wife encourages her to sit back.
“I wasn't long, though. Just want say hi to you and the new girlfriend.” Dhita looks at Cindy for a while and sighed, then returns to face Tama.
“You fired the manager because of him?” Dhita nodded her head towards Cindy. Tama just kept quiet, waiting for Dhita's follow-up words. “You sure, this woman deserves that much attention from you?”
He was still thinking about the steps he had to take. He can't just scold Dhita, because their family needs Dhita's family.
His mind drifted to a relationship that could be improved and his parents would treat him well again.
Meanwhile, Ferdinand elbowed Dhita. “Don't be weird. Cindy is Tama's boyfriend. He must be worthy. If he was my girlfriend, I would definitely defend him as well.”
Tama looked at Ferdinand sharply. Whether since when, Ferdinand had been on the list of people who were considered to be annoying by Tama. Dhita, who saw Tama's silence, continued her words,
“If it happens to me, you will do the same?” the question from Dhita was interesting to Cindy. Tama's boyfriend was curious about the refrigerator man's answer.
Tama sighed and replied, “Everyone deserves to be treated properly, including Cindy and you.”
Dhita smiled happily to hear it. “Means, this woman is not special for you.” Ferdinand's sister glanced at Cindy and smiled faintly.
“She's special. The most special woman in my life,” replied Tama firmly. She can't let her boyfriend be pressured by Dhita anymore. His ex-wife just shrugged her shoulders.
“Look at it later. I won't bother you anymore. Enjoy dinner.” Dhita winks to Tama and leaves. After that, there was only silence at the dining table.
“Cindy, I...” Tama tried to melt the atmosphere, but was suddenly cut by waitress who brought the order. They both noticed the waitress finished her work.
Tama gets ready to explain again, but is hurriedly cut off by Cindy. “I don't want to talk about that. We'll talk about something else.” Tama's boyfriend then issued a card, but immediately rejected Tama.
“You don't need to use the card for your next request. I'll take that without a card,” Tama said sincerely.
Even so, Cindy still hurt. This was the second time Tama had been silent when Cindy was humbled. First by Tama's mother, and second by Dhita. What a great achievement for the size of the person who said he didn't want Cindy to be treated arbitrarily.
“What do you want?” tanya Tama softly. Tama's guilt-ridden face and softness of her voice, melted Cindy's vexation.
“I want us both to make a romantic song together. Can?” ask Cindy with a smile.
Tama replied to him with a nod and a relieved smile. In his heart, there was a sense of guilt for not defending Cindy from the start. She was secretly grateful to still be able to call Cindy special at the end of the conversation.
Cindy then asked for a pen and paper to waitress to write the lyrics. When they started eating, Cindy mentioned the first sentence in their special romantic song, “I love you for who you are.”
Tama was stunned to hear it. That sentence was like a cure for his loneliness and heartache for years.
“Why bengong, Cash? Now it's your turn.” Cindy put the chicken piece in her mouth while waiting for a sentence from Tama. The refrigerator man thought for a moment.
“Because you deserve to be loved.” This time, the lyrics touched Cindy's heart. All this time, he always felt not good enough and not worthy enough. No wonder, the only man she had considered suitable for her in the past was Toni.
Cindy knows that Toni made her financial loss, but her little heart says that maybe she just deserves a Toni.
Funnily enough, the universe challenges him by sending a CEO who makes him happy every second. However, there is always a fear that Tama will choose someone else over her.
“I love you unconditionally.” Cindy wrote the words on paper. He was happy to be able to mention it in front of Tama, even if only as the lyrics of the song they made together.
“Then everything starts with a condition.” Tama said and then chuckled. They both laughed like children, knowing that it all started with rules and conditions that both of them started with.
Cindy thought about the next sentence, while Tama looked at the phone screen because there was an incoming call. His face, which had been smiling, suddenly turned flat.
Hayoo, whose call is that? Guess what in the comments
