A man was seen walking in a hurry when he entered a room where people had gathered.
Sharp spies immediately shot towards him. The man simply threw a grin while throwing his buttocks on the sofa.
He seemed so relaxed in the face of a situation where everyone was just standing still, immersed in such a tense atmosphere.
"I'm sorry, I came late, I fell asleep" he casually said to a man sitting next to him.
"Don't apologize to me," the man beside her replied coldly.
"Haha! Aran! We haven't seen each other in a long time and you haven't melted yet!" the man laughed as he tried to elbow the arm of the man beside him.
The man called Aran instantly dodged while throwing a sharp glare.
"Arun, do you think now is the right time to joke?" sergeant Aran.
The man called Arun was still grinning and acting relaxed.
"Hello, Uncle, Auntie," Arun greets his family, deliberately ignoring Aran.
Trias and Reni did not respond to Arun's greeting. The two were even seen pretending not to see the man.
"It looks like Mr. Sutopo's entire family is complete."
Hadian, the lawyer from Mr. Sutopo's side immediately seized the attention of everyone.
"I will read the will delivered by Mr. Sutopo regarding the distribution of his inheritance" Hadian said.
"Oh, grandpa is dead? When?" ask Arun.
All eyes were on Arun.
"Ehem," Aran cleared his throat. "Arun, grandfather's not dead yet."
"Arun, you're such an ungodly grandson! I could have told my father that he was dead!" Trias.
"Kira!" sergeant Reni.
Trias snorted loudly, Reni patted her husband's thigh while raising a gaze full of anger.
"Well, I'll continue again" said Hadian.
The nearly fifty-year-old lawyer read back a piece of paper written directly by his client.
"Pak Sutopo bequeathed the full extent of his inheritance to his grandson" Hadian continued.
"What?! Grandchildren?!" Reni shouted in anger.
"Sir Hadian! Is it not wrong? Why should all my father-in-law's estate fall to his granddaughter?"
Reni glared an angry look at Aran and Arun.
"Lantas, what about my husband who in fact is the son of Mr. Sutopo? Is my husband really not considered?"
Reni scolded Hadian with so many questions.
"What my wife said is right! Why should my father's estate fall into the hands of those boys?" sergeant Trias.
"Huh! The kids? Uncle, Auntie, I'm in my thirties, is it still worth mentioning as a kid?" Arun laughed cynically.
"You...!" Trias held back his emotions.
Arun, his nephew was often igniting his emotions even since he was a child.
"His grandchild? Not the grandchildren?" Aran asked.
Hadian is well aware that Aran is a critical-thinking person.
"Yes, Mr. Sutopo will only bequeath all his inheritance to one of his grandchildren" replied Hadian.
"Obstrapped let alone this!" Trias is back to cutting.
"Sir Hadian! You don't talk nonsense, or I'll ask my lawyer to sue you!" the Reni spray is full of wrath.
"Uncle, Auntie, please don't make things worse!" Aran interrupted.
"Pak Trias, Ms. Reni, I apologize, my capacity here is only to convey the will of Mr. Sutopo before he died," Hadian defended himself.
"Hmm, well, it is indeed typical of grandfathers who are so obsessed with justice," Arun responded casually.
"What's wrong?! This is so unfair!" reni spray.
"Then, what are the terms and conditions of the grandfather for his heir?" ask Aran.
Trias and Reni still cast their annoyed gazes at Hadian.
"I can only say this to prospective heirs as parties who have interests" said Hadian.
Trias and Reni did not budge.
"Basic jerk! I can't accept all this! Where's my dad?!" hardik Triassic.
"Yes, this is really unfair! We need to talk to him!" reni toilet
Uncle, Auntie, you better leave, because you have no interest anymore. Rather than making a fuss like this" said Arun.
"Shut your mouth, you unknowing brat!" wrath Triassic.
"All right, let's go, Trias! But, just look at it later! I won't stay silent!"
Reni hurried away after making her threat.
Hadian heaved a heavy sigh, now he and his two grandchildren from Pak Sutopo who had to speak six eyes.
Mr. Sutopo has two sons, Trias and Surya. Surya is the father of Aran and Arun who have long since disappeared without news, leaving behind two boys who were raised by Mr. Sutopo.
Trias himself did not have children because he and his wife agreed not to have children that were considered troublesome when they saw Mr. Sutopo at that time actually took care of his two young grandchildren.
Triassic who hopes to have all his father's inheritance must bite his finger because the treasure is only handed down to his nephew.
"So, what kind of competition does grandfather want? What is a duel to the death? Haha!" Arun laughed casually.
Aran does not respond to Arun's jokes, his sister always responds to anything with jokes that are not at all funny.
Hadian pulled something out of a brown envelope and showed it to the two men in front of her.
The two men instantly frowned at the same time as soon as they saw a black and white photo of a woman from a time immemorial. The sweet woman who was supporting her face with one hand.
"Who is he?" ask Arun.
"Do we have to find this woman?" ask Aran.
Hadian really understands why Mr. Sutopo is so good at Aran. Aran is much smarter than Arun. But if only just smart, still can not meet the standards of justice desired by Mr. Sutopo.
"Pak Sutopo advised that whoever first finds the existence of the ring worn by this woman, then the person will get all the inheritance from Mr. Sutopo," replied Hadian.
"Good grandpa! Found this woman? Just be right! How can I find this woman with only this photo capital?"
"When is this a photo of the time?! Now this woman must have been a granny or may have lived the name!"
Arun expressed his opinion.
"Sir Hadian, is it really necessary to find only this ring?" ask Aran.
"Hey, do you think looking for a ring based solely on a photo like this would be that easy?" ask Arun.
"I'm sure, grandfather will not give such easy conditions to bequeath all his property" said Aran.
"Then, when is the deadline?" ask Arun.
"Arun, did you really not listen to what Mr. Hadian said?" Aran asked back.
Arun thaws, he can see that Aran seems to have started thinking about what to do.
Cih, that old geezer! Inner Arun.
"All right, for now, that's all I can say. Good luck to both of you" said Mr. Hadian.
