Chapters 139. Making Friends with Accidents.
Yara immediately pinched Ryder's stomach firmly upon hearing the man's words, making Ryder growl in pain with a stifled voice.
"Your mouth, Ryder. You can't say that," hardened Yara sharply.
Ryder screeched while blasting her lips. For what good happens to people like Myra who have a mouthful of garbage.
Moments later, they reach Domi's grandfather's house. Ryder immediately invites Yara to come in, the voice of Domi and Zafran's grandfather is heard chatting.
"Assalamu-" Yara was unable to continue her greeting when she saw Zafran. "Astaghfirullahal. What happened to you, Zaf?" He immediately approached the sister who was sitting on the floor with a carpet.
Both of Yara's eyes were perfectly rounded when she saw the wounds on her sister's legs, while Zafran only smiled while thinking what he would say to her brother.
"What's really going on, this? Why, why your feet - O Allah," cried Yara with no thought. His eyes then looked at Zafran sharply and glazed over.
"I'm sorry, Ma'am" said Zafran. She did not know what to say to her brother, then glanced at Ryder who was still standing in the doorway.
"Calm down, son," said Weny's grandmother, who was also there. "Zafran is fine, only his leg is injured."
Yara breathed a heavy sigh. Know this he will not allow his sister to come to this place, whether any misfortune that has befallen his sister.
"Wait a minute, I'm going to ask Dr. Lewis to bring medical equipment here" Yara said as she picked up her phone in the bag.
Zafran quickly held the hand of the older brother who was about to call Lewis. "I'm fine, Ma'am. No need to"
Yara immediately threw Zafran's hand out of her hand making the man's speech come to a halt. "Don't say okay before you explain what happened, Zafran. Why are your legs covered in wounds like this, how about if there's still something left on your feet?" He asked angrily.
Zafran was silent. He did not want to make her even more angry, so decided to listen to all of her brother's words.
"Let me take it there, Yara. You don't have to call Dr. Lewis" Ryder said.
Yara just glanced at Ryder without touching the man's words, she kept calling Lewis and asking him to come while carrying medical equipment.
Ryder breathed heavily. After him, Yara will be angry if she finds out what Bayu did to Zafran. Then all of that happened because of his negligence.
Elsewhere, Lewis, who received a message from Yara, immediately took his medical equipment and put it in a bag. He then walked out of the room in a hurry.
"Where are you going, Lewis?" ask Alex who just went into the room.
"I'll tell you later" Lewis said as he picked up the keys on the desk, then continued walking out. Fortunately there was still a motorbike belonging to the village chief in the house, otherwise he would have walked on foot.
At the same time, Yara was busy cleaning Zafran's wounds using water. He watched her carefully for fear that there were spines or broken glass left behind.
"Now tell mbak what's going on, why did your leg get this way?" ask Yara back.
Ryder who was still standing at the door turned to sit behind Yara when she heard the woman's words. "He was being chased by someone, Yara. That's why he had so many leg wounds from running in the thickets without using a slipper."
Yara gasped in shock at Ryder's words, suddenly turning around and looking at the man intently. "Who, who's after him? And why was he being chased?" He asked me without understanding.
Ryder then recounts everything that happened to Zafran, along with the crimes Bayu had committed.
Yara was stunned with a look of disbelief when she heard Ryder's words. It is unexpected that the man named Bayu could do the lowest thing, whereas during this time Bayu was very kind and friendly to him.
"I'm sorry, I've been negligent and not careful until something like this happens to Zafran. And if it wasn't for him, then I wouldn't know if Bayu betrayed like that" Ryder said softly as she finished telling the story.
"Then what are you gonna do to him, Ryder?" yara asked tremblingly as she held back the crying.
Zafran immediately clasped his brother's hand when he found out that his brother was holding back tears. "I'm really fine, Ma'am. Don't cry, and don't feel guilty for what happened. But thank God we now know that Bayu betrayed and tried to kill Ryder."
Yara nodded slowly. "Bak knows, Deck. Mbak just feel sad why you are always hit by problems like this, both then and now."
Zafran. "That is the power of God, and because I am able to face and hold everything. If you were, you'd be crying all day."
Yara pinched Zafran's arm immediately upon hearing his sister's words, while Ryder and the others laughed at Zafran's rant.
Not long after, Lewis arrived at Domi's grandfather's house. He got off the bike and knocked on the door.
"You've come? Come in" Ryder said as he opened the door. He immediately invited Lewis to come in.
Lewis nodded his head. "Who is sick, sir?" He asked while walking in. Then his gaze stopped towards Zafran who was sitting together with the others.
"Have you arrived, Doctor Lewis? Please check on Zafran," Pinta Yara.
Lewis nodded his head then approached Zafran with a puzzled look. What exactly happened to the man, why was his leg covered in wounds? He was astonished and wondering.
Yara shifts her seat to Ryder's side so Lewis can check on Zafran. Actually he himself can do it, just feel disinclined to Lewis because the man was ready to come.
"Why are your legs like this, Zafran? Did you just walk on broken glass?" lewis asked while treating Zafran's leg.
Zafran. "so. I want to see how strong my legs are."
Lewis shook his head while focusing on treating, while the others just silently watched.
Moments later, Lewis had finished treating Zafran's leg and wrapped it in a bandage.
"Don't let this wound get water first well, and don't forget to take medicine" Lewis said. "In just a few days the wound must have started to dry, as long as it was not exposed to water." He returned to compile his medical equipment.
Zafran nodded in understanding. "But what if I go to the bathroom?" He asked confusedly.
"Just calm down, Zafran. Grandma will provide a large basin for you so that if you want to pee no need to go to the bathroom again," said grandmother Weny.
Everyone immediately laughed when they heard his words, while Zafran was embarrassed when he imagined what Grandma Weny had said.
"No-no need, Grandma. I'll ask Ryder for help" Zafran said.
"It's okay, Zafran. No need to be ashamed." Weny shook her hand. "So grandfather used to be so when he couldn't walk, he peed using a basin."
