SURREPTITIOUS
The Part 54

Greeta gawked, it seems that he had improved after the possession earlier. While Amadhea and Xaga still seriously listen to the story of Karnilah.

"I'm not sure this story can be heard by minors like us" Greeta said.

"So, am I the son of the devil who..that-that's with my Mama?" asked Amadhea who looked shocked.

Xaga also seemed curious. He wants to know the answer.

He looked at Amadhea. "You think... Why does your face look like Karminah's?"

Amadhea seemed to think. "What's possible.your mother...."

Carnilah continued the story, "After Ayuni had been in contact with the figure, she was pregnant. However, just like the previous fetus. She miscarried...."

Ayuni cried while beating her stomach. "Useless! I'm useless!"

Sudarman hugged Ayuni. He calmed his wife. "Dear, honey, don't hurt yourself."

Ayuni increasingly diligently read books and spell sheets that he found. Ayuni discovers another ritual that interests her. The ritual is a fetal formation ritual and must be done on the Dead Beach.

"This is the place where Ms. Karnilah lives, maybe she can help me again" said Ayuni.

Meanwhile, Karnilah was on the edge of the Dead Beach. The waves in the twilight looked so beautiful.

Because look straight. He wears green kebaya and batik side cloth as he used to be when he was young. His partially bleached hair was bunned and clamped with a konde puncture.

He clenched his hands and closed his eyes. The woman cast a spell. Mysterious voices were whispering following the mantra that Karnilah recited.

Both eyes were back open. For walking towards the sea. He drowned himself for a while and then came back to the surface. The woman looks older. Her hair was all bleached. The wrinkles on his face were also printed more clearly.

It was because he had just thrown away some of his black magic. The woman touched her aching chest. He stepped in with a trained step.

Is this what it feels like to be an ordinary person? Inner Carnalah. The woman fell down on a grain of white sand. Both of his legs were hard to move.

Next morning.

Ayuni stood in front of the house waving her hand when she saw Sudarman's car driving away. Ayuni immediately entered her house. He took the keys to the car and went to the garage. There were three cars parked there. He drove one of them to the Dead Beach.

Arriving at the Dead Beach, Ayuni felt calm when she heard the sound of waves pounding. He saw some fishermen pull over his boat. Ayuni approached them and asked about the house of Carnalah. Luckily, the fishermen knew Karnilah.

After getting an answer, Ayuni followed the path as the fishermen said. He could not bring a car, because the road was narrow, so Ayuni left her car in one of the houses of local residents.

Ayuni looked around. "It's all mangrove forests. Is it because you live in a mangrove forest? I think he lives on the coast."

After a long journey, Ayuni finally arrived at the mansion in the middle of the forest.

"Well, the house is huge." Ayuni knocked on the door with a gasp of breath as she was tired of walking far away.

"Mother Carnation?" Ayuni knocked on the door again, having no answer.

Shortly after, the door opened from inside. Ayuni was surprised to see that it was Karnilah who was sitting in a wheelchair.

"Mother Karnalah? What's going on?"

Now Ayuni sat opposite Karnilah who was sitting in her wheelchair. It seems that Ayuni was worried to see the state of Karnilah who suddenly wore a wheelchair. Moreover, the woman looked much older than before.

Only a few weeks ago they met. At that time Karnilah still looks healthy and some of his hair is still black. Even her wrinkles did not stand out too much, now the old woman showed a difference to that extent.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I came here because I really need help, Miss. I know Bu Karnilah's house from the fishermen" said Ayuni.

"What can I help you with?" ask Karnalah.

"I found this in the room." Ayuni pointed out the spell sheet she had brought to Karnilah.

The old woman was surprised. "This. how can...."

The feeling I've brought all the spell books from Mom's private room and burned them. But, how could there still be anything left in that house? Where did Mom hide all those books and spell papers? Inner Carnalah.

Ayuni bowed her knees in front of Karnilah. He said, "I beg you, Miss. I want to have descendants. Help me perform the ritual."

Cause it's knitting its eyebrows. "You know this spell for a forbidden ritual? You want to do black magic?"

"I have no other choice. I tried the first ritual before, but I still miscarried" Ayuni said.

"What?! So, you're fucking with...." Don't believe what he hears.

Ayuni nodded slowly. "I have no other choice. I really can't live without a child. I want a child."

Because it's shaking slowly. "It seems you've lost your mind."

"Yes, I've lost my mind since I lost my son" cried Ayuni.

"You better undo your intention to perform the forbidden ritual. The result will be bad for you and the child you will give birth to later" Karnalah said.

"I'm lonely.I just want the presence of a little angel in my family" please Ayuni.

"That black thing will keep you trapped forever in the dark. As I had," said Carnilah then he threw the papers into the fireplace.

Ayuni rounded her eyes to see the papers were instantly devoured by fire.

"You've been involved too far, Ayuni. You better go back to your way and your religion, if you don't want to regret like me," said Karnilah then run his wheelchair leaving Ayuni.

Come up and stand up. He looked at Karnilah's back. "I've memorized the contents. I just need to practice it. If Ms. Karnalah can't help me, I'll do it alone."

Then he looked at Ayuni who had gone and disappeared behind the door. The old woman breathed a heavy sigh.

After returning from the Dead Beach, Ayuni saw some people were busy beside her house which was an empty land. They want to build a house there.

Ayuni looked at the couple who nodded their manners at her. Ayuni nodded then passed into her house.

Yes, the married couple is Burhan and Irma who just got married. They bought a large land next to Sudarman and Ayuni's house to be used as a house.

"Is there a school?" ask Irma.

"The distance to the school is quite far, but there is a terminal near here" replied one of the workers.

Irma hugged her husband's arm. "One day when I have kids, they'll go to school on the bus."

Burhan replied, "There is no need to take the bus. Once the house is finished, I'll buy a car."
