SURREPTITIOUS

SURREPTITIOUS
Part 12's

Amadhea was still standing in front of the door. Suddenly he heard a horn sound. The girl immediately covered the door with wallpaper.

Merlin and Calvin come to Amadhea's house. They got out of the car.

"Dhea?" Merlin knocked on the door.

Amadhea shifted the table to where it was. He again hung the beach painting on the wall. Errata, hanging the beach painting to a nail that stuck in the door.

"Amadhea?!" Merlin no longer knocked, but banged on the door.

Amadhea opened the door immediately. "Aunty?"

"Why is it so long, anyway? Just open the door." Merlin came in, followed by Calvin.

"Where are you going?" amadhea.

"Mbak Ayu once bought an urn from Singapore. Now where's that urn?" ask Merlin.

"Aunty wants to take him? But, it's Mama's," said Amadhea.

Merlin stared in annoyance at Amadhea. "Your mother is no more. If the goods are not shared with other brothers, then your Mama's grave will be dark."

Calvin wandered around the house as if it were his home. His gaze was fixed on the beach painting near the stairs. He came closer and saw it. If the painting is seen for too long, it feels very scary and gives anyone goosebumps.

Both Calvin's eyebrows frowned at the wall paper sticking out as if it had just been torn. He glanced at Amadhea who was fighting over the jar with her mother.

"Tante, this is the only thing Mama has, don't take," pinta Amadhea said.

"You don't need this. There was an empty corner in Aunt's house that had to be filled with urns," Merlin grumbled.

"Tante has taken Mama's clothes, Papa's things, and all Papa's money. Why does Aunt want everything?!" amadhea shouted to the point of echoing in the room.

A loud slap landed on Amadhea's face. Merlin slapped him. "Don't you get hurt, do you think you're my brother's son?!"

The deg!

Amadhea looked at Merlin with a look of disbelief. Obviously Amadhea Sudarman and Ayuni's son, he was also Merlin's nephew. How could Merlin say such a cruel thing?

"Mama, no. Don't hit him." Calvin tried to calm his mother.

After getting 4 antique jars, 3 flower vases, and other decorations, Merlin and Calvin left.

With tears still streaming, Amadhea stared at Merlin's car that was moving away from her home.

"Dark Mama's grave? Not even Auntie came to the cremation ceremony. That's why Auntie didn't know that Mama's body was cremated, not buried like Papa's" Amadhea murmured.

Irma who saw that looked sad. Amadhea looked at the gate. He saw the existence of Irma who stared pity at him.

Meanwhile, Merlin and Calvin are on their way home. They pass through a quiet street on the edge of which there are many trees, because it is indeed a forest area that separates the city A _ where Amadhea_ lived and the city B _ where Merlin and Calvin_ lived.

Calvin seemed serious about driving, while Merlin talked about many things.

"Mama's arisan friends will surely be amazed to see the new Mama's expensive jars. As much as the boy knew what, he didn't even deserve what's right now" Merlin said.

Calvin looked at his mother. "Mama's too much to say that Dhea's not Om Sudarman's son."

"He's not Mas Sudarman's son" Merlin grumbled.

"Then whose child?"

Suddenly the figure of a long-haired, black-clad woman flashed quickly in front of their car and almost got hit, if Calvin did not immediately hit the brakes.

"What just now?" Merlin and Calvin looked surprised.

"It seems like someone who lives in this area," Calvin replied quietly as he circulated his gaze around.

"Which crazy person wants to live in the woods?" merlin grouse.

Calvin won't bother. He returned to his car. Just a few meters away the car was speeding, suddenly a sound like an object fell onto the roof of the car.

Calvin stopped his car.

"That sounds like a big thing. Is it possible mountain ape?" muttered Calvin.

Merlin shook Calvin's arm. "Here you go, just run the car."

Calvin nodded, but his car died. "Why die? The fuel is still full."

Merlin looked at the car window. "It's still 4 in the afternoon, but why is it so dark?"

Silent.

Suddenly the forest became quiet. There's no sound whatsoever. The sounds of birds, forest animals, and the rustling sound of the leaves being blown by the wind were now no longer heard.

The atmosphere was very tense when the silence struck.

"Calvin, why is it so quiet?" ask Merlin.

Calvin replied, "I didn't hear anything either, Ma."

In the moment the silence took over, suddenly the figure of a long-haired woman appeared in an inverted position on the windshield of the car.

Merlin and Calvin cried out in surprise. The woman with the face on fire was banging on the windshield of the car.

Calvin who panicked immediately hit the gas fortunately his car was alive. He turned on the wiper trying to get rid of the woman. However, it is completely useless. The woman's ghost continued to beat the windshield of the car until the car they were riding in felt shaking. The windshield of the car cracked and then broke.

"Oharr!!!" Merlin screamed hysterically as the creature's hands began to enter and tried to grab his face.

Calvin could not see the road, being blocked by the woman so their car hit a tree.

From the hood of the car, smoke appeared soaring high into the sky. Calvin and Merlin looked fine. Just blisters on their foreheads and hands. Both of them got out of the car when they heard the sound of gasoline leaking. The car will definitely explode.

Calvin and Merlin are surprised to find them in a dense mangrove forest. Though the path they went through was not a mangrove forest, but an ordinary forest. Even now they hear the sound of waves that clearly indicate they are not far from the beach.

"Are we lost?" asked Merlin worried.

"No way, Ma. We went to Amadhea's house, not once. Wherever we may be lost" Calvin said.

They look around. There's no car line around there. Even the car they had just been riding in was at the root of a mangrove tree. There was no tire track on the back of their car. It was as if they had suddenly appeared at that place.

Calvin took his mother to a safer place. They set foot on the white sand of the beach.

Their car exploded.

"My kitchen!" Merlin stopped his steps staring at his burning car.

Calvin looked upset. "Mama, stop thinking about those fucking jars! We should be thankful that we survived!"

They sat for hours by the beach. There's nothing to do. While Calvin was still trying to call for help, but there was no signal around there. The man moved from one place to another many times.

While Merlin sat thinking about what they had just experienced. He did not know what creatures were suddenly attacking them and why they could be somewhere else? He is still trying to digest it with his logic.

Merlin turned to look at his charred car that was on fire. The fire began to shrink. He got up and went to the car.

"The expensive jars I can sell to get a new car replacement car," he said.

Calvin was still struggling to find a signal. He looked at where his mother was, but the woman disappeared.

"Mama? Mama?!!" Calvin saw his mother near their car.

Merlin opened the car door. "Aw, hot!"

The woman saw that the urn and vase she had brought from Amadhea's house looked intact even though her car had just exploded. Merlin heaved a sigh of relief.

However, there is less. One vase disappeared. If it breaks, the fractions are automatically in the car.

As Merlin gouged up staring at the roof of the car, his two eyes widened to see the figure of the long-haired woman was there with a vase in her hand.
