...The President Suite Room...
Juliet threw her body on the wedding bed that had been decorated with so many petals of white roses on it.
Juliet's hand grabbed a portion of the rose petals and stared at them for a moment.
"Do they not know if flower petals can cause allergies?" Juliet cleaned one side of the bed until now that looks more crowded.
After her wedding reception was over, Juliet went straight back into the room. Juliet's legs felt sore because it had stood for too long when receiving congratulations from invited guests.
Juliet's eyes are now fixed on the ceiling of the hotel room that will be her bridal room with Romeo. Suddenly Juliet's face warmed.
"What Lo thinks is Juliet. Don't let Lo turn autistic just for thinking about the first night that will never happen!" Juliet scolds herself.
The first night is only for the actual bride. But for himself and Romeo, such a thing would not happen.
But tonight they'll be in the same room? or rather the man had already prepared another room for himself. If that was the case Juliet could feel a little relieved.
Not long after that there was a knock coming from Juliet's bedroom door. Is that Romeo?
"Jul. Lo's in there?" thats right. It was the voice of the man who was currently officially her husband. "Just in." Juliet changed her position from supine to sitting.
Within seconds Juliet heard the door open and the door closed again.
Romeo was stunned for a moment to see Juliet who was currently sitting on the bed. The woman who is now officially his wife.
Romeo approached awkwardly. "Lo don't mind if we're one room first?" And Juliet could understand what the man meant. Because Juliet knows that they're not just the two of them in that hotel.
Their family and friends also stayed at the same hotel.
"No problem though. I understand. This room even fits five people." Juliet's Sahut.
Romeo was relieved. At least the atmosphere in the room did not become strange because of his existence.
Romeo walked towards the sofa and sat there. Romeo also took off his suit, leaving only a pastel-colored shirt.
"Gue hasn't said thanks to Lo. I really understand how you sacrificed for this marriage." Romeo began his small speech.
Are these words of pearl from the bridegroom to the bride? Juliet silently listened.
"Gue will try his best to fulfill my duties and responsibilities as Lo. I'll also make sure that you won't regret marrying me." Romeo looked into Juliet's eyes.
"Although a little late. I just want to say, I'm grateful that Lo is my wife, not someone else."
There was something that stuck into Juliet's heart. Romeo does sound sincere, but why does his heart hurt.
Juliet turned her face away. He could not speak if he had to look into the man's eyes. "Gue is too. I'm grateful that that man is Lo."
Supposedly, times like these were the happiest times for Romeo and Juliet. But what they both feel is another feeling that is very burdensome.
...Not the guilt......
...But a sense of helplessness. ...
