Cecile was always next to Vince during the event and regardless of Jasper always coming towards them.
Eventually they cross paths and Cecile smiles at Vince's two enemies.
Vince really wanted to punch the father who had been deliberately approaching him.
"Hello, Miss. I just want to congratulate you on your engagement. May your marriage run smoothly and have no interruptions at all. You don't intend to invite daddy, Vin?" said Jasper.
"You're praying our marriage is going well and there's no distractions, right?" ask Cecile.
"Of course," replied Jasper smiling.
"So from that, we won't invite you because you're a nuisance to us. We want our wedding to be smooth and fun" said Cecile, who made Jasper laugh.
"You picked a different woman this time, Vin. Unlike your ex who is now my wife" Jasper said unhappily.
Cecile of course was quite surprised by Jasper's words, but remained relaxed and more focused on dampening Vince's emotions that began to rise again due to Jasper's words.
"This time he raised his standards, in contrast to you lowering your standards" said Cecile who of course made Mia angry with his words.
"You think you're perfect, miss," said Mia at last.
"Yes, he's perfect in my eyes" Vince said at last.
Cecile smiled and turned to Vince. "Thank you" he said, then the man kissed his cute lips.
Mia was getting irritated by what she saw and wanted to leave from there but Jasper held her hand.
"Greetings to your mother, Son," said Jasper.
"She will soon marry a noble of her level. Maybe mommy will invite you later," replied Vince who then went from before Jasper by clutching Cecile's waist.
Jasper's face instantly turned sour hearing that. He seemed to be in disbelief because his ex-wife had obtained his successor after decades of widowhood.
Jasper and Lica have been separated since Vince was 7 years old and that's what makes Vince feel nothing at all for Jasper.
Only when Vince was a teenager, Jasper and Lica officially divorced because finally Lica gave up their separation.
After that Lica never married at all, while Jasper has been married several times with many women.
Vince and Joan are under the care of Lica and her grandparents who are of noble descent.

After the event was over, Cecile and Vince did not go straight to the mansion but to a famous jewelry store to buy a wedding ring.
"Pick what you like" Vince said.
"I want to buy three rings. Doesn't it matter?" ask Cecile.
"Ah must not matter" said Cecile without waiting for a reply from Vince and immediately look at the row of beautiful diamond rings.
Vince just kept quiet and followed whatever Cecile wanted.
Vince was sitting in the chair in front of the jewelry display. While Cecile looks eager to choose the ring he wants.
"Ooh ... All these rings are so classic and beautiful, Vin. I was confused to choose it" said Cecile.
"You can buy five if you're still confused" Vince said casually because he didn't want to stay in the store too long.
Cecile looked at Vince. "really?" ask her with a face of sumringah.
Vince nodded. Then Cecile kissed Vince's lips so happy.
"I love your money, Vin. You're the best" said Cecile, who made the jewelers laugh softly at Cecile's honest remarks.
