Thea cooks dinner with the ingredients in the refrigerator. And Jared helped him because he got used to it.
Jared's house is still not far from the highway, so electricity still reaches his house which is a little into the forest.
"How long have you been living here?" ask Thea while grilling the meat.
"I don't stay here. I love living in the woods like this. Only occasionally to the city," answered Jared with his hand holding the apple he had bitten in half.
"You're running away from something?" ask Thea whose psychological soul is in fashion.
Jared smiled as he was still chewing on his apple.
"No, I just prefer calmness" Jared replied.
"I love meeting new people and sharing stories. It made me gain knowledge about something I didn't know before." Thea lifted the roast and put it on the plate.
"I don't like being too close to someone or having a personal relationship with anyone but my family" says Jared following Thea to a minimalist dining table that's not too big.
"Your family stays in America?" ask Thea.
"Hmm, my father's sister's family is closest to me. River was on his honeymoon with his wife at the farmhouse yesterday. He's my cousin" replied Jared.
Then they had dinner together with a menu that was quite filling.
After cleaning the table and dishes together, Jared and Thea both take their laptops.
"Hey, you work at night too?" ask Thea.
Jared nodded and sat down in the warm central room in front of the fireplace.
"You're going to write?" ask Jared.
"No, just writing inspiration. Later I will develop it if it has some inspiration," replied Thea opened her laptop.
Jared tied his hair and looked focused on looking at the tables of numbers on his laptop.
Thea took the big pillow that was on the sofa and put her laptop there.
Then Thea lay face down with her legs bent upwards. His left hand sometimes supports his chin and his right hand is on top of the laptop keybord.
Thea also turned on the song with a quick beat on her laptop. He hummed while writing.
What am I waiting for
My heart's still breakin
I miss you even more
And I can't fake it
The way I could before
I hate you but I love you
I can't stop thinking in you
It's true, I'm stuck on you..."
Jared looked towards Thea who seemed to enjoy the song while still busy typing.
His shoulders move casually to the rhythm of the music he hears.
Then Thea's eyes looked at Jared's and then rolled her eyes at Jared.
Jared just put on a slanted smile and refocused on his laptop.
An hour passed and they were still with their respective jobs.
Usually Jared will be very comfortable in front of the laptop until the early morning.
So too with Thea. But not for today. Just an hour in front of the laptop, his eyes were already heavy.
Then Thea turned off her laptop and moved from there.
"I'll go to sleep first. My eyes really can't be compromised tonight" said Thea, who then yawned.
"Hmm" replied Jared.
"Good night, Honey," Thea said and went straight to bed and slept soundly.
