Chapter 42 - Stacked Bread

Not wanting to think long, Kenzo immediately stepped on the gas pedal with the aim of the hospital. Sometimes the man called his wife's name.

Arriving at the Kenzo hospital rushed down and pulled his wife's body out of the car. The man ran to the emergency department.

"Hurry up to my wife, she's pregnant" Kenzo asked one of the nurses who would take her in.

"Good sir."

Out there Kenzo pacing back and forth is not clear so panicked with the state of Ree. Until the doctor who treated Ree came out.

"How's my wife doing?"

"Thankfully your wife is fine sir, she only has stomach cramps and it is natural during pregnancy but not good as well if it happens constantly. More details you can contact the obstetrician."

"All right, thank you Doc."

"We're going to move the patient to the ward."

"I will take care of his administration." Kenzo paid for all of his wife's treatment for the next three days, according to instructions from the doctor. The man asked for a VVIP room.

But before entering the room, Kenzo wanted to check the content of Ree first. The woman was unconscious but the obstetrician who happened to be on guard tonight allowed it.

And there is one interesting fact that Kenzo surprised from the results of the examination, which may have been hidden by Ree all along. Or does Ree not know yet? But it felt impossible if Ree didn't know.

Their baby is a twin!

But why would Ree hide that fact?

"So scared of you that you won't tell us where one of our two kids is?" kenzo asked Ree, who was still comfortably closing his eyes.

Kenzo chose to sit on the balcony, because of this VVIP space then all sorts of facilities are available. The man closed his eyes and enjoyed the night breeze hitting his skin.

Between his thoughts suddenly Ree's face that was smiling widely appeared but a second later came the sound of Ree's cry that was so heartbreaking, Kenzo to throw a harsh breath and punch the air.

"You're Kenzo's asshole, and Ree's sorry.." he said.

The next day, Ree finally came to his senses. The woman grimaced painfully while holding her stomach.

"Is it still sick?" ask Kenzo for attention.

"I'm hungry!" cetus Ree who made Kenzo gape.

"All right, I'm gonna ask the hospital to deliver the food."

"Hospital? So I'm in the hospital?" Ree opened his eyes wide and scanned the entire room carefully.

"Why am I here?"

"So soon, I'll call."

"I don't want to eat hospital food, it's not good!"

"Then what do you want?"

"I want to eat Aunt Alena's cooking. So let's go home!"

"No way, the doctor said you still have to be treated for a few days so stay where you are. I'll call Aunt Alena to drop off the food."

When the phone screen turned on apparently there were several traces of incoming calls from the father. Kenzo ignored him first because the most important thing now was his wife's entrails.

While Ree was remembering what happened last night until he ended up in the hospital. But strangely Ree remembers nothing. What he remembered last time was a pile of bread called a burger that tasted so delicious.
