KNIGHTS OF MANAH VALLEY

KNIGHTS OF MANAH VALLEY
Get Punished

Unlike usual, this morning the college students gathered in the courtyard. All eyes were on a young man named Valley of Manah.

With his hands tied back, the young man knelt in the middle of the courtyard and prepared to receive punishment from his teacher—Ki Tunggul Wulung.

Previously, the Manah Valley was stirred by emotions and tried to beat Wanapati who always mocked him with the title ‘kacung kampret’.

Not without reason Wanapati call the Valley of Manah with that name. Because while studying at the Holy Souls College owned by Ki Tunggul, Manah Valley never raised the level of canuragannya science, until the young man was expelled from the college.

“Manah Valley! For your sassness, I'm going to punish you to clean up the whole college for a whole week!” exclaim Ki Tunggul with a loud tone.

“But guru—!”

“No buts! It was all your fault!” kilah Ki Tunggul cut the words of the Valley of Manah.

Wanapati laughed triumphantly, the young man deliberately provoking the Manah Valley anger into acting foolishly. And sure enough, the Manah Valley was provoked by emotions because of the ridicule from Wanapati and beat him up, to be punished.

“Clean all, kacung kampret base!” wanapati shouted at Manah Valley.

“Wanapati already!” sahut Ki Tunggul stopped Wanapati's actions. “All of you, return to the learning hall. There's material I want to convey!”

Wanapati is famous as a bad student. The young man always harassed the other students with his two friends, Jayadipa and Nata.

“Awas you, Wanapati!” growled Manah Valley while swinging the handle of her broomstick.

In the past, before being expelled from college, long enough Manah Valley studied in that college. Approximately five years the young man got a lot of material from Ki Tunggul.

However, on one occasion when the test match fellow college students, the Manah Valley never issued his canuragannya, and only rely on the physical strength of his body to fight.

In the end, with a heavy heart Ki Tunggul returned the Valley of Manah to his mother in her native place. The young man's house was in Kedhung Wuni Village, an eastern end village located in Yava Country.

Every now and then the Valley of Manah looked at the students from outside the fence, as if the young man wanted to be part of the school again.

However, still the policy of Ki Tunggul can not be changed, Manah Valley can not join the college, until the incident this morning that made him punished.

Manah Valley still sweeps the yard that looks dirty by the cluster of mahogany leaves from outside the college fence. Occasionally look at the learning hall that is directly opposite the college courtyard.

“You don't eat first, Valley!” A voice from behind the Manah Valley shocked the young man. She is Mbok Pani, an old woman who takes care of all the needs of the college kitchen.

“Let's go, Mbok. This is still a responsibility, emm, soon to be finished!” sahut Valley of Manah stopped its activities.

“If it's done, just go straight to the kitchen. Simbok has prepared food for you, Le!” said Mbok Pani while leaving the Manah Valley and going to the college kitchen.

In the present era, every swordsman must have a deep energy that is processed into canuragan science. However, in contrast to the Manah Valley, since the young man never showed his training.

For example, the trial exercise against his friends, the Manah Valley only uses physical strength without activating his canuragan.

“Mbok, where's the food. Valley is hungry, Mbok!” exclaimed the young man shortly after entering the college kitchen.

“Take it at the table, near the furnace!” sahut Mbok Pani who is still busy cleaning up the remnants of the food of college students.

“If only Awal were alive, his age might be the same as yours, Valley!” mbok Pani exclaimed looking at the face of Manah Valley which he thought was similar to his son.

“Times by Mbok!” sahut Manah Valley with mouth full of food.

“Iya Valley, but unfortunately its life is not long!” Slowly Mbok Pani shed his tears.

“Already, Invoke don't cry. Emm, let's just say I'm early, Mbok!” The Valley of Manah tried to calm Mbok Pani. “Ohh, yes Mbok. After lunch, Valley was asked to clean up the library, this was also part of the Valley punishment!”

“You anyway, use play at the same time Wanapati!” grumbled Mbok Pani stroking the hair of Manah Valley.

“Who told him to stick around, huh!” geram Valley Manah remembered Wanapati's behavior to him.

“Hmm, young man, likes to play spanking without thinking about the consequences!” close Mbok Pani.

Finished performing his afternoon ritual, the Manah Valley was about to head for the library. The young man walked from the kitchen through the study hall carrying a sage in his right hand.

When he reached the front door of the hall, the Manah Valley paused for a moment and turned towards Wanapati who was sitting at the very front inside the learning hall. Then the young man stuck out his tongue and said, “wek, Wanapati is ugly!”

Suddenly, the disciples who were receiving the material laughed out loud at the slightly disgusting Manah Valley's behavior. The hall that had been quiet, turned into a crowd because of the Manah Valley.

“Awas you yes, kacung kampret bottom!” lirih Wanapati had her face flushed red from enduring the embarrassment.

The door was unlocked, the young man entered the library freely, there was no one else inside. Slowly, the Valley of Manah sweeps from the very edge of the dust, while looking at the book about the science of canuragan neatly arranged.

“If only I could cultivate my inner power. I must have learned this book!” lirih Manah Valley speaks for itself.

The young man's gaze was fixed on a book about medicine and poison. The Manah Valley stopped its activities and put a sage in front of the bookshelf. Heed the book and read carefully, Manah Valley tried to understand the contents of the book.

“Book on treatment and poison! Emm, it looks interesting!” lirih Manah Valley speaks for itself.

Many lessons are obtained after understanding the contents of the book that is more than hundreds of pages thick. Moreover, the Manah Valley was a type of young man who could easily be memorized in one look, so it was not too difficult for him to recall the contents of the book.

Back in the Manah Valley swung her broomstick just after returning the medicine book and poison in place. The young man was shocked when he saw the worn out box lying in the upper left corner of the bookshelf.

The crate was full of dust and seemed to have long been untouched by the hands. He took the box and placed it on a table not far from the bookshelf.

“What box is this!” exclaim Manah Valley noticed the black box.

Slowly, the Valley of Manah opened the worn-out coffin that seemed to be unlocked. Again the young man was struck by an ancient book that was inside the chest. The black-colored book that was about half as thick as it was lifted up and placed on the table.

Carefully the young man opened the first page. Without the Valley of Manah guessing, a dazzling beam of light shot out from within the book, followed by a loud sound of laughter.

The Manah Valley retreated a few steps in shock and almost fell down.

“What is this!” he said while closing his eyes with his left palm.
